"She's very threatened by the fact that I punch harder than she does and I'm stronger than her. I've always been able to walk her down and it frightens her, it really does. I don't know what to tell you Beck - you're going to hurt and there's nothing you can do about that." Becky in black push up, black velvet boy cut trunks - Heigl in royal blue sports bra, yellow and blue floral print bikini bottoms.

Rds 1-2-3: Girls fighting hard to establish agenda for fight - where they fight, what distance, what tempo etc. Heigl trying to get right inside Becky's trunks, crowd her to the ropes and fight off the chest - Romijn looking to spread Kathy out the jab, turn her mid-ring and stroke long right hands home to chin. Close and competitive - Kathy running the guantlet by crossing her arms, weaving in close and engaging at close quarters, but Romijn doing a nice job maintaining distance, stepping to the side while palming-up Heigl's shoulders, potshotting Kathy as she wades in. Becky warned for one technique in particular: extended left arm palming Kathy's forehead - as Heigl swipes at it, Beck able to drop in a sudden right cross on the chin - ref doesn't like it, but Becky keeps doing it. Each round hard fought, but Becky takes all 3 heats - imposing her legs, style and will by degrees as Heigl grudgingly accepts her role.

Rd 4: Negotiation over: shutout Romijn. Becky really shooting the jab out there, pounding if off the head and shoulders of Heigl - Kathy can't get past it this round. Becky conservative - slow, systematic pace as she steps deliberately left, turning Kat mid-ring, keeping the jab on Heigl as Katherine closes up her stance, bends to roll with punches on the outside. Beck occasionally unleashing the right, following up with a whiplash hook underneath, really getting after Katherine's smooth gut with pleasing tummy spank. Heigl pinking up nicely as she's a target for 3 long minutes - Romijn to her corner chin up, smug, breezy expression.

Rd 5: Heigl with some pressure in the first minute, forcing Becky to bail and use her legs - Kat can't trap Beck on the ropes however and that comes back to haunt. Second minute, Becky arming out the jab, walks Kathy into a curling right bolo uppercut CLOP! on the chin. Heigl's legs don't like it - she walks away to her right stumbling as she steps wrong - Becky sees it and steps up to the plate. Romjin's eyes intent as she jabs high on Heigl and starts leaning into searing rights - Kathy crossing her arms, leaning into the storm and getting ROASTED on her chin as Beck crashes away righty. This is fun for Becky - Heigl wobbly butt - Beck palms forehead with her left, measuring and dropping in either the slanting right cross or the loop-snap right uppercut to devastating effect. Heigl suffering leather-shock - stationary, stooped forward and getting shelled - legs finally give way as she does a hurting ponytrot to her right, then clatters to all fours under a hail of Romijn right hands. Kath on hands and knees: Romijn taunts "MOO! MOO!" as she skips to neutral corner. Heigl up at 8, but shabby goods: ON COMES BECKY! Romijn wide stance, attacking wounded prey at the ropes - extending the left to illegally palm Kathy's head - poor Heigl open-mouthed, pawing pathetically at Romijn and right hands start finding chin with sickening potency. Shattering blasts draw squeals of discomfort from ringsiders - ref allows Romijn a lot of latitude to draw a bead and bang it home before FINALLY stepping in to shelter what's left of Heigl. Kathy in ragged stupor, too stunned to cry - Romijn struts away hands high - TKO5 Bangin' Becky Romijn.

After: Becky smiling, strutting and true to model roots - she hauls a badly shaken Heigl up off her stool for a scalding walk of shame. Beck riding a covetous right arm around Kath's waist, waving regally with the right, beaming out the covergirl grin: Heigl shuffling, head lolling, eyes vacant - she ate a lot of Romijn right hands tonight and that's a poor diet for any fighter.
