Ana de Armas - |5’6”|32|9:0|Emilia’s Empresses|
Zazie Beetz - |5'6“|29|0:1|Free Agent|

Pre-Fight: After her debut defeat to Chloe Bennet, Zazie Beetz heads to come looking for a win against the rising talent that is Ana de Armas who is yet to be defeated in 9 matches so far.

„Let the best gal win“ says the Cuban Beauty before joyfully jogging to the ring in a purple tank top and gym shorts with black gloves and her hair in a ponytail. Zazie eagerly paces into the ring in a black sports bra and yoga shorts with black gloves and her hair loose.

Round 1: The girls are at each other's throats at the bell, swamping stiff hooks with fire in their eyes. Zazie gets hurt early into the exchange after missing and taking two hooks to her mouth. With Zazie on the back foot, Ana continues upping the pressure, sticking hooks left and right as Zazie hits the ropes. She fights back, eventually punching her way out of the ropes and scuffing up Ana's precious face in the process. The girls go back to basics, exchanging punches but again, it's Zazie who takes a loss when Ana's right uppercut disrupts her footing. Instead of punching her to ropes again, Ana leads the stunned gal to midring where she can't rely on the ropes to fight her way out. Ana dominates the final stretch of the round, blasting Zazie's hips and body via hook/uppercut combinations and leaving a few bruises at the bell.

Round 2: Ana weights into Zazie from the bell, catching her off guard with a couple of jabs, then proceeding with an uppercut. She hurts the girl, making her unsure what to defend as she thumps her body with uppercuts. With each punch Zazie slightly bends forward until eventually going down to all fours. The beats the count at an early four, getting out of Ana’s reach ASAP. Ana chases after her but she’s prepared this time, patiently waiting for her and engaging her in another punching contest. She finally gets on top, hurting the Cuban gal with a couple of rights to her nose and mouth. Zazie side steps, rushing Ana’s flanks with a couple of hooks and finishing up with a WILD haymaker sending the beauty down hard on her back. Ana takes a deep breath before rising, she’s up at eight, no longer lunging at her opponent. Instead she plays defence, covering up but letting some punches through as Zazie belts her jaw at the bell.

Round 3: Zazie continues where she left off, smacking Ana with a couple of jabs and stopping her dead in her tracks early into the round. From there, she dominates the entire round, hooking for Ana’s lip, walking her to ropes where she relentlessly slams leather to her belly. Ana fights back and does her best to escape but she only makes the situation worse as Zazie leads her to a corner. There is not much else she can do besides accepting the punishment at this point. Zazie continues blasting her belly making Ana let out a “guh” sound with every punch. Ana soldiers on, refusing to take a knee, waiting for the bell to get Zazie off her but taking multiple bruises in the process. By the time the bell sounds, Ana’s midsection is covered in bruises as she limps to her corner with one arm gripping her belly.
Round 4: Breathing hard but fighting hard Ana rises from her stool for the fourth round. Zazie is working Ana hard to ropes but Ana's footwork makes it difficult as she manages to turn the tables on the brunette and escape after scuffing her face up with a pair of hooks. Zazie comes after her, firing uppercuts to her ribs but leaving her face open for Ana to blast away a haymaker, making Zazie take a step back before firing an uppercut to her chin and fleeing yet again. She takes a moment to recover and goes after Ana again, hurting the girls ribs but taking some hits in the process, issuing a punch exchange. The punch exchange is only interrupted by the bell, ending the round in a draw. Back in the fight, but not in the lead quite yet, Ana goes to her corner more hopeful as Zazie walks away with a scowl, disappointed she wasn’t able to finish the fight.

Round 5: Out come the fighters, ready for more and both pushing forwards from the start. Zazie tries to retain the momentum she had in the third round but Ana doesn't make it easy, showing resilience, protecting herself and sidestepping before smacking Zazie's midsection with a couple of uppercuts. Zazie responds with a hook, Ana ducks under responding with a single jab to her body, enough to make her flinch as she follows up with a double uppercut to her chin, sending Zazie on her back. She beats the count at eight, bleeding from her nose when she’s up. She wipes the blood off with her glove and takes a deep breath before engaging Ana again. The Cuban girl, while in the lead, treads carefully looking to not repeat the earlier rounds mistakes. Zazie doesn’t like the idea of Ana’s comeback as she rushes at her only for Ana to fire a perfectly timed cross, landing on her jaw and sending her down for a second time. Zazie looks like she’s in a lot of pain and on her way out, rising very slowly but being saved by the bell!

Round 6: That brutal cross from Ana definitely took something out of Zazie; she doesn’t look nearly as confident in the sixth. Mouth breathing and moving slowly across the ring Zazie doesn’t do much in this round aside from being decimated by Ana’s fists. She sinks into ropes with her high guard not doing much as she can barely hold her arms up. Ana uses the last bit of her strength, beating Zazie at the ropes, hoping that the brunette finally goes down. She finally goes down for good at the 1:30 mark, not even trying to beat the count as she plants her battered face at the canvas.

Winner by KO in Round 6: Ana de Armas

Post-Fight: “This was a very tough challenge. She had me second guessing until the very last round and I was finally able to figure her out. I thought it was over for me after the third round and I was almost keen on throwing in the towel. I’m glad I didn’t, not only that, I was able to turn around the fight and win.” Ana talks to the press, barely standing and with deep breaths.
