BEFORE:
An interesting match on the cards as hot-streak Megan Fox goes up against fellow actress Kate Mara in ten rounds of Flyweight action. These two have yet to meet in a boxing ring, which makes the initial staredown at the press podium all the more intriguing.

Fox slightly taller and of course, bringing a more illustrious career to the table, both hands on her hips as she stares down Mara’s two-inch disadvantage with a measure of contempt. Maria's glaring back defiant, slightly older but an equally fit body on display in a pink sports bra and black tights.

“So I heard I’m facing Hudgens in a few weeks. I don’t know about you guys, but that's the fight on my mind. Don’t get me wrong - Mara’s a helluva actress, but I don’t see her lasting too long in the ring with me. Let’s see what she can do,” Megan says later with a smirk.

Mara continues to frown as she hears all the dismissive comments and bites her lips. “Pride comes before the fall, Megan. I don’t see you holding up a belt or anything, do you? Aren’t you a little peeved that Collins got the title shot this time, and you didn’t? I’m just gonna have fun tonight - win or lose, I’ve got nothing to lose. And that makes me dangerous.”

Hours later we're in the ring, with Fox in a faded amber bikini in one corner, banging together black gloves as she glares at Mara across, who has shed her gym attire and is looking spankin’ in a pink bikini top and bottom, with red gloves. HERE we go with the referee’s ring of the bell!

ROUND 1:
Megan rushes in to impose early, early lefts and rights slammed into Kate’s arms as she looks to dominate. Mara expected this early aggression from someone who shows her little respect, but still takes a beating backwards as she locks arms and moves, trying to cover her face and create distance at the same time. Fox moving and punching like this is the last round of the match, catches Kate on the face with a multitude of jabs, then doing the same as she pokes and drills punches to her body. Mara engages back only one some occasions, sticking her fists into Megan’s face when she's not paying attention but they're easily without venom, and the round ends with the Vixen clearly in the driver’s seat.

ROUND 2:
Kate however battles back in the second, especially when both ladies clash in the center with a massive exchange of gloves to the face. Fox is growling as she still wants to impose her will and overpower the other girl, but finds it hard to break through Mara’s guard and knock her down. Mara herself is proving resilient, dodging and weaving in close quarters before ducking under the Vixen's hooks and drilling her own shots clean into Megan’s body, pushing her backwards and winding her further. Fox is getting hurt like this, only realises too late as she groans from the impact of another one-two combo that packs into her sides before she finally deems it necessary to retreat. Rest of the round has both ladies dancing at a distance, with Fox falling back to jab from a distance.

ROUND 3:
Mara keeps looking hot as she springs forward and peppers Fox’s guard with more jabs, hoping for an opening to get in close and punish the Vixen to the body some more. But Megan adapts fast, keeping her distance with faster footwork before shooting combos to the head to dissuade the redhead. Kate going all-in regardless, ducking to the side to avoid another cross-hand and then roaring inwards to try and score the upset, but Fox is waiting for her with a follow-up hook sent the other way, which bangs into Kate’s guard in the nick of time. That’s enough to stop Mara’s momentum as the shot rattles her halfway mid-attack. The two ladies clinch up for a moment and exchange punches to the side of the head, knocking each other senseless within the pocket, until the referee separates them at the bell.

ROUND 4:
Kate looks a little rattled after that wild melee, with more hesitant movements towards Megan, whereas the Vixen is back to her aggressive self, breathing on steady feet as she stalks forward and initiates the first punches at Maria's head. Mara looks shaken as her momentum all but evaporated, now forced to defend herself and body from invasive punches, as Fox closes in on the prize, a left-right-left combo sent top and bottom scores, with Mara just all over the place and frazzled as she takes a one-two to the nose and then another straight hand that streaks in and connects with to the chin! AND DOWN MARA GOES!! Kate just falling backwards, collapsing onto herself as her back hits the ground with a thump! It’s an early KNOCKDOWN for Megan Fox!

Mara looks shocked and bothered, some valiant attempts to crawl towards the ropes but the referee’s already mid-count and rising. Fox meanwhile has a satisfied grin on her face as she saunters back to neutral corner, chest glistening and heaving from that workout. Good news for the Vixen as Mara’s barely grasping onto the ropes when the referee hits the 10-count and WAVES her chances off! This fight’s over!

Official Decision: Megan Fox defeats Kate Mara via KO4!

AFTER:
An even wider grin from Fox as she pushes off of the turnbuckle, turning on the spot with a hand raised high to acknowledge the cheers of the crowd. A commanding win indeed, with Fox looking all geared up for another ten rounds of action if need be. She’s looking like she's in her prime indeed, and some would say she’s going to need every inch of confidence when she faces Vanessa Hudgens for a third time in two weeks' time.

Mara on the other hand has her fortunes dashed on the rocks once more - getting dropped from her stable back in June certainly didn’t help things - and only time will tell if she decides to do the same for her career in the ring.
