BEFORE: "I admire Kate's longevity and I wish her the best of luck in making the Hall of Fame BUT I hope she realizes there is life outside of Jenny McCarthy and Keri fookin' Russell", Nina Dobrev tries to impose her presence on the British veteran and vows to kickstart her stalled 2020 campaign.

"Of course it's Demi Lovato's fault!!!", Nina still hasn't gotten over the old Lookout! Boxing demons and this is where Kate fancies her upset chances:

"Look, I'm the better actress, the higher PAID actress and a more attractive woman in general... Nina should stick to The CW... she's never gonna rise above that certain level of SUCK!!!", Kate has found a new life ever since joining the VIXENs and she wants to make the most of this late-blooming opportunity to prove she's the best British fighter in FCBA history. Apparently there are some people who still question her status!

Nina Dobrev wears a violet bikini set with black trim & silver gloves. Long dark brown hair tied in a curled ponytail. Kate Beckinsale wears a black sports bra, yellow hotpants & yellow gloves. Long dark brown hair wrapped in a loose bun at the back of her head. The fight is scheduled for ten rounds in the bantamweight division.

Round 1:
Kate flies in with a jabbing drive and forces Nina back after connecting with a couple of nice hooks and the shear pressure allows the older brunette to dominate the initial tangle. She outworks Nina over the top and snaps her head back before belting her across the stomach for a good measure. Nina realizes the British veteran is more likely to make her moves early but she still struggles to embrace the heat and wobbles to her heels as Kate keeps blasting her up the middle and rocks her head back too often for LCA coach Eva Mendes to remain calm in the corner. However Beckinsale's slugging proves superior and allows her to thump the Bulgarian foe onto the ropes where Nina gets vocal in a hectic recovery pursuit, she picks up Kate's tempo but can only match her stride for stride and still eats the belting menace with Kate plugging her mitts into the soft tissue to leave Dobrev gasping for air come the bell.

Round 2:
Nina lets it rip without much care and truly wants to establish the slugging superiority but Kate shakes off a couple of nasty hits on the nose and responds in equally ruthless fashion to trigger a wild swinging for the ages! Ugh! She gets blasted on the lips as the all-in approach backfires in a hurry with Dobrev channeling her inner wrath to slump Beckinsale onto her heels inside the opening minute. Kate keeps looping her shots upstairs but loses her precision as Nina forges ahead with more head-hunting juice that dwarfs the Brit's high-guard and spins her to the side when she eats one vicious hook on the temple too many! She tries to push off from her heels but Nina has all the space to beat her to the punch and spins her onto the ropes with a commanding drive before she sticks more leather into Kate's face as the veteran's guard collapses wholesale. Uh-oh! Jenny McCarthy would be proud of that thumping as Beckinsale stops Dobrev's punching galore with her face and slumps into loud spasms when the ref pulls the Bulgarian charger off her at the bell.

Round 3:
Kate is slow to get up for the third and suddenly looks extremely vulnerable when Nina RIPS more brutal hooks straight into her face. Oi, Katie! Nina glues her to the spot as she works the left/right jabbing machine on speed dial and the British cougar can barely land a single punch in response while getting mauled upstairs! She scowls in visible disarray when Dobrev blasts her on each temple but it only gets worse when the younger brunette BELTS her on the exposed liver and that's the killer bee punch that DROPS BECKINSALE ONTO HER KNEES in a world of pain! Kate hugs her aching liver and bends her head against the canvas but she simply can't beat the count here...nine.. ten... YER OUT!!! KO3 Nina Dobrev!!!

AFTER: Nina gives the fallen Brit a lenghty bytch stare before turning back to coach Eva Mendes: "Told ya I'm gonna WHUP her into a smoking mess! Man, I wish that was Demi down there hugging her fookin' liver like that!"

Most pundits believe Kate's slugging game plan was too audacious to work against a genuine Top 10 contender like Nina but there's a lot of pride at stake as Beckinsale nears the 100th fight milestone and she seemingly wants to accumulate style points along the way. VIXENs head trainer Steve Boyd refuses to confirm whether Kate will focus on fellow cougars going forward but admits fighting Dobrev was worth the risk given the Bulgarian's anonymous schedule this season. However such a brutal knockout might have just given Nina all the boost she needs to run the table in the upcoming months instead.
