Before: Casta meeting Kidman on neutral ground, US crowd warmer to Nicole than Laetitia due to familiarity, but Casta unperturbed. Interesting style match up with the rigid, upright Kidman precise and deceptively quick in her movements - Casta more supple, generating bigger pop with full body commitment on her punches. During R1,2: Kidman in control - doing it with her jerky sewing-needle jab, straight right hands on the nose, and that awkward steering hook that lands palm down on Laetitia's cheek. Casta stalking, loading up on right hands - she's grazing chin on occasion, but finding it hard to get off without eating the jab. Casta also launching rights into Kidman's pale midriff - end of the second minute sees Nicole backing away, sucking in air as the body work starts to get her attention.

Nicole caught flush on the jaw - gets dropped in a heartbeat to her buttocks and she's WRECKED! Kidman trembling, legs out in front of her as she tries to push herself onto her left hip to roll to her knees, but it's not happening. KO4 Laetitia Casta.

After: Kidman totally shortcircuited by Casta's slamming overhand right - redhead carrying her jaw like a lantern in the wind finally gets clipped clean the way pundits had been predicting she would. Good power and determination shown by Laetitia as she doesn't get discouraged with Nicole's quick start - Casta proving once again she can definitely punch at lightweight.
