(Girls Friday vs Free Agent)

Intro:
Elizabeth Henstridge and Shenae Grimes have been struggling to break out that middle pack into the elite, a win tonight takes them a closer to their goals.

Elizabeth is 31 years old; she stands 5'4, holding a record of 22 wins, all by way of knockout, with 11 defeats.

Shenae is 29 years old; she stands 5'3, holding a record of 7 wins, all by way of knockout, with 4 defeats.

The fighters said a few words to journalists in the build up to the fight, Elizabeth talks to them outside the stable gym.

Smiling as she tells "I know things haven't been going great, but I am a fighter, so I will push through this losing streak thanks to my management and my friends"

The Brit says about her opponent "though I know Shenae will be a good test for me, I need to overcome her to become one of the best in that ring, so Shenae but I have to show you no mercy... At least till the fight ends" grinning as she heads into the gym.

Shenae meanwhile sits in the Lioness Club gym next to best friend Jessica Lowndes, the two stop chatting when they see the press, with the Canadian duo waving them over.

"OK so my first match against a GF fighter didn't go as well as I hoped, but while Maisie is full of confidence, I see Elizabeth is losing fights, that gives me confidence I can whip her ass" says Shenae with a grin.

Jessica says "Shenae is the best kept secret in the FCBA, when she beats Elizabeth I hope Tess Valmore can speak with more respect about her" Shenae and Jessica bump fists before heading off to train more.

Fight night; Elizabeth is out first with Lauren Berlingeri and Sophia Bush beside her, they are smiling as Elizabeth heads down the aisle, waving to the fans as she looks excited to be here.

She is wearing a grey sports bra with an "Agents of Shield" badge on the left cup, grey trunks and shoes, black gloves, while her hair is up in a ponytail.

Getting into the ring; Elizabeth bows to each side of the ring before she jogs over to her corner, where Sophia gives her a pep talk on how tonight is her night to shine.

Shenae now heads out with Eva Mendes working her corner tonight, she struts down to the ring looking focused, Eva can be heard telling her to make this her night.

She is wearing a red sports bra, red shorts with white stripes, white gloves and shoes, while her hair is also tied into a ponytail.

Climbing into the ring; Shenae bounces on her toes at the center of the ring with her arm raised to a loud cheer by her supporters, then she heads to her corner to warm up.

Soon enough the fighters come the center of the ring, they look focused as the referee goes through their final instructions.

Bumping gloves when ordered too; they nod to each other before jogging back to their corners, ready to start 10 rounds of flyweight action.

Round 1:
Both fighters come towards each other with their guard up as they trade single punches, not looking overly confident as they start fighting.

Shenae slips a jab to counter with an overhand right, the Canadian starting to up her work rate as she comes to the inside to work the body, till she is nudged back out by Elizabeth.

Who tries to get into Shenae's face, she misses though as she is too wild with her punches, allowing Shenae to counter with head shots.

Shenae slams a straight into the face of her opponent, allowing her to step forwards as Elizabeth covers up, keeping the Brit near the ropes.

Late in the round Elizabeth takes two body shots, before using her left to nudge Grimes back, a right hook lands to the side of her opponent's head.

With Elizabeth starting to come back at Shenae, they stand to trade in the dying seconds of the round, till the bell rings and both turn on their heels to return to their corners, Eva nodding with a grin at Shenae after a great round for her.

Round 2:
Shenae starts off strong; walking forwards behind her jab as she looks to drive Elizabeth onto the ropes, Henstridge just focusing on defence right now.

Sophia is yelling at their fighter to start opening up, Elizabeth soon slips a right cross to land an uppercut to the body, followed by two hooks up top.

That success seems to have given Elizabeth confidence to open up and work, she steps in to trade with Shenae, both with their heads down as they work the others body.

They separate to work on the move; trading stiff shots through the others mitts to their faces, their corners yelling at them to take control of this fight.

A missed right by Shenae leaves her open to an uppercut that snaps her head back, Elizabeth knocks her back onto the ropes with headhunting shots.

Shenae is forced to cover up as the round comes to an end, when the bell rings Elizabeth raises her right fist in the air as she jogs back to her corner.

Round 3:
Both are warmed up to the task as they trade more punches in bunches, getting into the others face more as sweat flies off them.

Shenae dips under a straight to land two body shots, then moves back out the way of a right down towards her head, she grins at her opponent as if telling her "you ain't hitting me"

The Canadian starts to take back control of the action, dipping under shots to land her own punches to keep Elizabeth back off her.

As Shenae tries to slip a straight shot; Elizabeth shows it was a feint as she steps sideways to land a left across the top of Grimes head.

Elizabeth follows up by stepping inside to work the body of Shenae, they rub heads for a moment as they trade body shots, with gasps heard from both fighters.

Stepping back; Shenae lands a three punch combination that makes Elizabeth take a step backwards, with Shenae driving forwards with straight shots to force Elizabeth back along the ropes.

The round ends with Shenae now the one pumping her fist in the air, Elizabeth stares at her but nods as she knows she needs to improve this round.

Round 4:
They trade single punches early as they dance around each other, Shenae trying to step inside after dipping down, but she gets caught with a right across the top of her head.

Elizabeth steps out the way of a left cross, countering with a right that lands to the gut of Grimes, making Shenae groan out as she looks winded.

Landing a flurry of punches that knocks Shenae to the ropes; AS SHENAE COVERS UP ANOTHER RIGHT TO THE BODY SENDS HER DOWN TO THE BODY COUGHING!

Elizabeth quickly heads to a neutral corner so the count can begin, 1...2...3...4.. Shenae is sucking in breath as she spits out the gumshield, 5...6...7.. Shenae looks up at the referee with tears in her eyes, 8...9...10 leading to her being counted out!

Winner Elizabeth Henstridge KO Round 4

After:
A great finish for Elizabeth; who raises up her fists with a big smile adorning her face, she knows Shenae isn't an easy opponent so beating her within four rounds is something to be proud of.

Meanwhile Eva rushes out to go check on Shenae, who holds her stomach as she stands up, apologizing to Eva for not being able to win, with Eva quickly telling her not to worry about her and more herself.

Across comes Elizabeth as she checks on Shenae, who nods at her in reply to tell her that she'll be OK, the two bump fists in respect before they return to their corners.

The Girls Friday corner looking ecstatic as Elizabeth returns, Lauren and Sophia praise her as they give her a hug, all three smiling as they embrace.

Across the ring Shenae gets a hand on her shoulder from Eva, who is consoling her, telling her to use the hurt to fuel her in future fights, Shenae nodding in reply as she wipes away her tears.

The fighters come to the center of the ring; where Elizabeth jumps up in the air when her arm is raised, she is excited to be back as a winner.

Shenae just grins at the sight; then she steps out the ring slowly, still sore around her gut as she walks up the aisle with Eva beside her.

Inside the ring Elizabeth does a lap thanking the fans, telling them she loves them as she gets applauded by her coaching staff.

Then they all leave the ring together; Elizabeth will be hoping to use this to springboard her career back up towards that elite.
