Nina Agdal versus Olga Kurylenko

Nina:
(26, 5’9, 121, 17:10 FCBA, VIXENs)

Olga:
(40, 5’10, 16:21:1 FCBA, Empire Boxing)

BEFORE:
A lot on the line for Vixen, Nina Agdal, as she tries to stem the bleeding of her career tonight. Plenty of doubters in the audience wondering if Nina's days in the ring are numbered, especially after so many disappointing losses to girls like Brooklyn Decker, Miranda Kerr and most recently, Candice Swanepoel.

“Enough's enough,” Nina saying with a shake of her head at the press conference. “I'm tired of playing second fiddle to these wannabe models. If I can't win tonight, you might as well retire me!”

Dangerous words right there and we wonder how serious the Danish girl is with that statement. Apparently, her own staff members looking appalled by this sudden announcement to hang up her gloves if she doesn't pull off a win tonight. Would be nice if you consulted us first about such life-changing decisions, Nina, is what Corey Saucier and newly appointed Chief Communications Officer (CCO) Kate Beckinsale, are saying through their fake-smiles from behind.

But Agdal continues, oblivious. “You heard me right. If I don't score a win over Olga f*cking Lenko later, I'll drag myself out of the ring!”

“Oh, Nina, Nina,” Olga, Russian beauty queen, says from across the table, marvelling at the recklessness of the youth. “Do you really want to make that bet against me? I'm a former champion, and beaten almost every girl under the sun - something you will never be able to say about yourself. All I will say is that I’m sorry that your boxing career ends tonight.”

Girls square off at the podium, and we definitely hope it's not for the last time. Olga in black satin bra and panties, red gloves, whilst Nina in a blue bikini and pink leather. HERE we go with ten rounds of Lightweight action!

ROUND 1:
Olga moving fast for a 40 year old, that slender body showing off plenty of agility as she evades Nina’s advances throughout the first round. All part of the plan - she probably knows that she can’t stand toe-to-toe with a youthful power-hitter like Agdal. Nina herself confounded for a good portion, thrusts her fists forwards looking to score but hitting at the air instead. Olga instead pounding jabs repeatedly into the middle of Nina’s face, stunning the great Dane as she scrunches up her eyes in pain. Not much to show for all her efforts at the end of three minutes - only a reddened nose and broken pride by the looks of things. If Agdal was using this fight to stage a comeback, things aren’t looking too well from the get-go.

ROUND 2:
Olga repeating the same strategy in the second, staying back and trying to goad the younger woman to come to her, like a lamb to the slaughter. But Nina not taking the bait. Not this time. She’s opting to stay back as well and force a clash, the first sixty seconds moving as though girls in a mutual dance with one another, constantly circling and flicking jabs, but barely landing anything significant. That all changes in the second minute, however, when Nina starts landing hits on Olga’s face with her superior reach, making the Russian grunt on more than one occasion as she finds herself too close for comfort. Olga circling back out in the final few seconds, determined to crack this tough nut and not just defend her way to a win. But no matter which direction she attacks, Nina’s defences tight as a ziplock bag, fending her foe off with lots of jabs and plenty of frustration.

ROUND 3:
Olga still skirting around the outskirts of the ring, hoping to initiate a charge from Nina in order to punish her further like the first round they had together. But it’s just not working, with Nina methodical and a far cry from her older, more brazen self who rushes in first and asks questions later. The Danish girl stinging the face and body whenever she can, chasing Olga outwards but not in a rush to corner her outright. This slow and steady attack finally pays off when Kurylenko veers off course after a particularly stiff right hand lands hard on her eye socket, making her squeal and stumble backwards. That’s the cue for Nina to attack - she won’t find a better opportunity to rush in! Olga covering up desperately as another of right cross lunges in, slamming into her cheek and further pushing her into the ropes. Stalking hands hound the Russian model, and very soon, Olga’s just swaying hard, deep breaths with her back to the ropes, her feet wavering, as Nina’s continuous assault simply pops her chin inwards and up! Finally DOWN Kurylenko goes! Straight to the mat as she lands on her side with a THUD! Referee takes a quick look and declares that Olga’s completely knocked out! She ain’t moving, and it’s over!!

Official Decision: Nina Agdal defeats Olga Kurylenko via KO3!

AFTER:
Wouldn’t say it’s a HUGE win for Nina, but a win’s a win at this point in her career, and she certainly looks happy about it after months of choppy waters that must have given her seasickness.

Nina raising a hand to the crowds, looking winded despite the early victory and yet another notch under her belt. She’s ignoring Olga’s flattened out form and going straight to her own corner to recuperate. Trainer Corey Saucier pats her on the shoulder for a job well done as Nina’s theme song starts playing in the background.

For some reason, Agdal isn’t totally jubilant with the win tonight. Something tells us that she thinks she’s reached the peak of her career: able to beat plenty of girls in the field, but just not good enough to conquer the others like Decker or Aldridge. Regardless, we wish her all the best in the future and hope she will continue trying in her quest to the top.
