Ariana Grande vs. Isabela Merced

The bout of this evening would be a match of Latinas as Arian Grande will be in the ring with Isabela Merced.

Isabela Merced formerly Moner, changed her last name recently which was a surprise. She did promise nothing has changed in her boxing life. Merced did talk on her regiment for the ring, training and sparring with the new trainers and signed boxers, meeting and speaking with the new half owner of GBS Kate, her layoff and how now she is back.

Ariana spoke of how she is going to turn her FCBA career around starting with a win over Merced. She knows she has to improve on her 5 and 19 record and she is proclaiming her turnaround to begin tonight.

Isabela comes to the ring in a red bikini top and gold hot pants with gold gloves.

Grande is in a silver crop top with light blue trim, light blue hot pants and silver gloves.

Round 1:

The two open the fight by going straight into each other with some short punches. Amazingly it is Ariana who seemed to be in control for the round. She was almost dominating the in close action and throwing some quick jabs at Isabela. Merced was almost charging at Grande and Ariana was using her footwork to stunt those charges and hit Isabela with some nice punches. Merced had to defend which did help her but she dropped the round widely to Grande.

Round 2:

Isabela is moving better as the second round begins. Her movements are making it hard for Grande to jab at her. Ariana is soon sloppy with her punches as this defense is stopping her pretty well. Isabela starts to land some good counters in some short exchanges. She goes upstairs with a right hook and left cross combination which surprises Grande. Merced soon has Ariana throwing back to back hooks to her gut which stymie her. Grande went to Merced’s face but her punches were off target. There was a short fire fight just before the bell and the round came back a draw.

Round 3:

Merced was back moving to open the third. And again Grande seemed stuck in neutral as the round began. Isabela wasted no time as she went back to Ariana’s head with that hook and cross combination. That hook SHOOK GRANDE’S WORLD! Merced throws back to back uppercuts to Ariana’s chin and a right cross to the side of her face. DOWN GOES GRANDE! Merced moves to a neutral corner to watch as the count begins. Ariana is on her back until the count of 8. She tries to turn over but that is all. KO 3 – Isabela Merced.

After:

Merced comes out with her gloves up high in the air. She is turning around and posing for the cameras before going to middle of the ring. Isabela’s right arm is raised as Grande is helped to her corner.
Jenna Coleman and Lacey Chabert pour into ring to congratulate Merced. They raise both of her arms in winning as they celebrate with her. She hugs both of them before she does some more posing. She leaves the ring with them.
