Amber Heard vs. Olga Kurylenko

BEFORE:

Few fighters have been more star-crossed in their FCBA careers than blonde beauty Amber Heard. She didn't get much action early, but showed enough to tantalize. Some tough losses cost her management, and she spent some time in the wilderness before, seemingly, finally putting it together as an indie in 2017 and grabbing a spot in a stable for the third time. Then came four straight losses in 2018. Heard is 33 now, and still tantalizing with her talent. But, if something's going to happen for her, it needs to happen soon. And, that's exactly what the blonde is planning. "Yeah, last year sucked. But. This is THIS year, and it's going to be different. And, next year? Even better. It's all coming together for me now. And, before I'm done, I'm going to wear gold!"

Olga, meanwhile, is one of those fighters who had the misfortune to be a model in the FCBA before being a model in the FCBA was cool. She won fights, but didn't always get the opportunities she deserved. Now, nearing 40, plenty of ships have sailed, but, the brunette is still dangerous, and still plans to kick some FCBA butt. "Heard is a never-was. I've beaten many fighters better than her. And, tonight, I'll add her scalp to my list."

ROUND ONE:

Ranged boxing the name of the game early. Both girls have length and know how to use it. Olga a little rangier, and that plays in the first minute, but the blonde quickly gets the angles down and gets to spots where she can get off. Result is an even second minute that's plenty entertaining, as both fighters can clearly do this and do it very well. Third minute sees a bit more aggression from the brunette beauty. She's not stepping to or anything, but she IS pushing pace, clearly in an effort to make sure the points in this stanza go into her column. And, that effort bears fruit. Heard gets put on the back foot several times as Olga's hard, accurate flurries result in plenty of touches. When the bell rings, those first and third minutes add up to a solid victory for Kurylenko, who takes the 10-9 lead.

ROUND TWO:

More Olga early. Brunette keeps continues with the faster pace, trying to dictate with her offense, and it works, after a fashion. But. Not for long. Again, the blonde makes a second-minute adjustment, using more foot and head movement to frustrate her rival's offense and then strike back in the counter. Now, it's Kurylenko who's being put to the defensive as Amber lands hard shot to both head and body. Third minute sees the lovely Ms. Heard pressing the advantage, putting together sharp combinations, sitting down on some punches, backing the brunette up and stepping in behind the left jab. Olga's in retreat for most of the final 60 seconds, and, when the bell rings ending the round, Amber's more than made up the early stagger to take the points and even the fight at 19.

ROUND THREE:

Kurylenko holding canvas now, tossing back at the brunette as we get a FIREFIGHT IN THE MIDDLE OF THE RING! Neither woman willing to give any ground or go over to the defensive, as Amber's determined to remain in control and Olga's just as determined to get back to fighting on even terms. SOLID right from Olga snaps back Heard's head and sends sweat flying and then...BOOM! Right hand counter and OLGA IS HURT! Brunette beauty wobbles on the spot, quickly covers up, and Amber is ALL IN. Heard throwing everything she has at the model, hammering away with both hands. Kurylenko wobbling backward and GOING DOWN! Olga dropping to the mat like a rag doll after a VICIOUS right hook from the blonde. Amber steps over the fallen model on the way to a neutral corner and then watches a count that's a mere formality. Olga isn't just down, she's OUT. And your winner by KO3 is Amber Heard!

AFTER:

Amber ebullient in the post. "See?" the blonde says with that gorgeous smile. "This is what I'm talking about. It's all coming together for me now. Finally. And, Olga's just the beginning. I'm going to be moving up these rankings right to the very top. Don't believe me? Keep watching!"
