Elisha Cuthbert versus Megan Fox

Elisha:

BEFORE:

“It’s a little strange that the two of us haven’t met before in the ring,” Megan saying coyly at the pre-fight press conference. “Elisha’s a legend in her own right, of course, and fully deserves that Hall-of-Fame status one day. The only question is, if I manage to OWN her ass tonight, I think I deserve some credit too, don’t you?” Megan turning to face Elisha at the other end of the table, flashing a dangerous smile.

“Hell yeah,” Cuthbert smiling as she replies. “But only IF you manage to beat me, Megan. You’ve come a long way since your debut days, but you haven’t faced some of the greatest fighters on the planet, like I have. Tonight’s gonna be an interesting fight, that’s for sure. It’s whether Fox has what it takes to be another champion, and whether I still have what it takes to put a contender like her down.”

Cordial face off as the two ladies pose for the cameras in the middle of the stage, still smiling that ‘Come give me your best shot, b*tch!’ look as they grin at each other face-to-face, then turn to the front of the hall for the flashes to go off. Megan in a black bikini, hair braided back single, donning red gloves, whereas Elisha in a dark blue bikini, white gloves for contrast and her platinum blonde hair tied up into a neat bun.

In the ring, this arena is ready to get the action started, so the referee waves his hands for the bell and HERE we go with ten rounds of Bantamweight action!

ROUND 1:

Girls exchange cordial jabs to the head in the first minute, content with feeling each other out from afar and not risking those flashier moves just yet. But Fox being ambitious, sees some openings and seizes them early, landing a particularly stiff hook to Elisha’s face. This flashes both anger and surprise from the blonde, who retreats before she carelessly eats another hook to the cheek. Fox grinning, advancing on her but then stopped by a torrent of jabs fired back by Cuthbert. Both girls landing light jabs for the remaining minute, but Fox scores again with a powerful right hand that snags Elisha on the chin, making the Lookout starlet recalibrate what the hell she’s doing wrong after getting beaten backwards this early in the fight.

ROUND 2:

It’s that loose guard of hers, her trainer reminds her in between the rounds, and true enough, when Fox tries the same tactics in the second, Cuthbert starts to pay her back with stiff hooks battering her arms and side of the head for Megan’s overzealous efforts. The look on Megan’s face is beyond priceless as another hook lands hard, sending her almost stumbling off to the side. Girls mean business here as they take turns getting to know each other before blasting their frenemies out of consciousness and without mercy. Both ladies switch back to defensive stances, with Megan trying to turn the tide back in her favour with a late flurry to Cuthbert’s face and body, but she only finds the arms and sir, with Cuthbert tidying up her loose ends and cementing her lead with a tight defence all the way to the bell.

ROUND 3:

Another round that’s too close to call as they take turns looking for weaknesses in defences, exchanging some straight shots to the face early on but neither woman willing to jump in to try and dominate. Instead, both girls playing the long game as they push each other back with a jab-jab-jab-hook combo, with the other girl defending her head buried in her arms, then roaring back into action herself when her opponent scrambles. Megan switching up her routine close to the third minute, snagging Cuthbert on the side tummy with quick-thinking alternate shots aimed high and low. Cuthbert returning fire with a lightning snap punch straight up her nostrils, making Fox regret that previous offensive maneuver. Both girls end up at opposite ends of the ring and back where they first started.

ROUND 4:

Elisha being urged by her corner to push herself forward a little more, and you can see that she’s taking that advice to hear as she zig-zags across the distance between, before unleashing hooks at Megan’s head early. Megan shocked at first, but then calmly dealing with a predictable jab-hook-jab pattern from Cuthbert. As a result, Fox manages to parry and bounce most of her swings off of her guard. Third such attempt is all Megan needs to disrupt the pattern permanently, replacing one step with an uppercut of her own lying in wait to pounce - Elisha can’t see it coming - it NAILS her square on the chin mid-swing and ROCKS Cuthbert to her core! UGHH. Cuthbert’s head flying up into the air as the rest of her body doesn’t know whether to continue forward or go along with the momentum. Fox making the choice for her, continues to bury punches into Cuthbert’s face and body even as she’s retreating backwards. Elisha’s only saving grace was clinging on to the ropes and hanging onto the top for dear life. Fox smothers her down with her own body, all the while churning low uppercuts into her body hup hup hup HUP until the referee pulls her off.

ROUND 5:

If Fox was feeling cocky, however, she’s soon reminded that this fight is far from over. Elisha being rushed at once the bell rings, predictable behaviour from the Vixen after that shellacking she dished out last round. Fox letting a superwoman punch RIP forward, but it bounces harmless off Elisha’s arms, which hold steadfast and firm. Fox manages to follow-up with a few more whack-attempts at her foe’s castle walls, before getting ROCKED to the face when Elisha torques a hook of her own clean into the side! Megan’s head almost swivelled all the way around as the rest of her body goes spinning off to the ropes. Cuthbert fighting like a wounded animal but still determined to the very end! She chases after Megan, wisely targeting her bruised face more nasty hooks, but unceremoniously gets stopped when Fox ducks under another a third one, clinches up with the Lookout starlet and begins punishing her sides with free fists. Elisha’s attack stopped in its tracks as the two women growl in each other’s ears, trying to shove each other off but one woman still trying to keep her breath and nerves, refuses to let go. Elisha takes this round when the bell finally rings, and the referee has to pry these two sweat-slicked bodies apart, but it’s not the dominant dream that the blonde was envisioning, don’t worry!

ROUND 6:

Megan has had enough of this back-and-forth, comes charging forward at breakneck speed and nails Elisha across the face with a right hand out of nowhere! The crowd is sensing the end is nigh as we hurtle towards the climax, Elisha grunting as he tries to create distance between them for her own sake. Megan not giving up, chasing the blonde with more strapping shots to the middle of her arms, another cross landing stiffly on her midsection and has Cuthbert folded over and backing into the ropes, lips parted in shock. Fox smashing hooks into her arms up high, determined to break her now and now and NOW, almost batters Cuthbert into submission if not for the blonde’s experience and calmness. Elisha ducking under another hook, slamming return shots into the brunette’s body before clinching up, begins the process of pushing her back to the middle of the ring whilst digging her gloves into Megan’s sides for payback. Round ends and a valiant attempt by Fox to control the narrative, but if she was hoping for a knockdown here, she’s sorely disappointed.

ROUND 7:

Cuthbert with a similar look of intensity as the next round starts, treating Fox to a sudden flurry to the face that catches the former champ with a loud HNGGH! Fox now the one getting bullied across the ring, and serves her right for this predicament as Elisha powers whatever leftover energy she’s been storing up towards knocking her foe down a peg. Fox with her back to the ropes, covers up her vulnerable head but getting her tummy bashed in with straight lefts and rights, before Elisha gets in even closer and ROARS an uppercut to the middle of Megan’s forearms, intent on scoring on that chin of hers. But Fox holding firm, doesn’t like it one bit when Cuthbert’s fist jammed into her belly repeatedly, but still manages to stem the tide with a sudden bait-and-switch: the actress’ arms wrapped around the back of Elisha’s neck before pulling her in and switching Cuthbert around such that she’s the one being trapped with her back to the ropes. Fox doesn’t give her time to digest, ROCKS Elisha with an uppercut straight to the bottom of the chin! Elisha stacked up against the ropes, dazed and still swinging despite the damage taken. The two gals end up in each other’s arms one more time as they push, shove and rotate time and time again along the ropes. Bell rings and this fight still belongs to any woman!

ROUND 8:

Remarkable how both women are still pushing their bodies forward at such a age! They stand and trade leather in the middle of the ring, like any of the other woman who’s half their size. Elisha targeting the body and then the head, scoring and then setting up even bigger combos. But unfortunately she gets disrupted when Fox stands her ground, pounds back by jamming her glove into her foe’s face OUCH. Elisha swinging back still, gritting her teeth. But Fox looks measured and steady, blocking any retaliation and then whacking the blonde across the face over and over again. Situation rapidly deteriorating for one woman as Cuthbert takes another low-hanging hook into the belly button, folding her over with a HNNGGGH, before an uppercut SLAMS into her chin and stacks her up again, sending Elisha crumpling DOWN to the canvas and landing on her butt! FINALLY we get a KNOCKDOWN for Megan freakin’ Fox!

Elisha sent spiralling up and over by that one shot to the chin, now reduced to lying down on her side as the rest of the arena wonders if this is it?! Fox still calm, hand raised to crowd as she takes her time getting back to neutral corner, the referee’s slow counting ringing in her ear. Cuthbert rising like a she-devil refusing to be put down, shaky legs and shakier head as she pulls herself back up by 9!

Bell rings and there’s still two minutes left on the clock! Can the Lookout starlet really survive this?! Megan not eager to let her try though! Vixen flies forward and resumes the shellacking as though it never ended. Cuthbert valiantly fights back and there’s a brief glimmer of hope as she turns Megan’s face to the side when a hook lands hard. Fox however smelling blood and refusing to let go of her prey that’s right in her grasp. Mutual grunts as they abandon their defences and just go all-out with bashing each other’s faces in! Elisha red-faced, roaring briefly as she snaps another uppercut into Megan’s chin, but Fox built of sterner stuff, shakes off the attack and then TORQUES the blonde around 180 degrees with a right hand swimming across of Elisha’s face! DOWN CUTHBERT GOES ONE MORE TIME, crashing face-first down into the canvas, with her arms splayed and limp above her head! This time, she ain’t getting up! It’s all over!!

Official Decision: Megan Fox defeats Elisha Cuthbert via KO8!

AFTER:

A wild chorus of cheers erupts as Fox takes the win after that bloody battle! Megan relieved, slumping back into the ropes and allowing a smile to break across her face. Moments of worry in there, no doubt, but ultimately, she persevered and came out on top. She goes over to check on Cuthbert regardless, bending over to help the blonde sit up as the medics go to work by her side. The two women exchange some encouraging words and promise to fight again one day.

I think the fans are definitely heartened to hear that, with this eight-round back-and-forth fight certainly worth it the first time round!
