BEFORE: Is Kunis being sacrificed for box-office gold? "I think so," a sincere Kate says in prefight. "I'm obviously more polished as a fighter - I just think Mila's being put in very tough for a fighter of her calibre...all I can think is that there's pressure on her to make a good movie-star fight for the cameras. That's good for boxing maybe, but I worry about young fighters like Mila who have to take the beatings just so the broadcast can do big-name numbers."

Kunis cranky with Kate: all this sounds very condescending to hard-working little brunette. "I'll admit Bosworth's more polished," Mila says all scowly-browed at podium, "but if I didn't think I had cards to play, I wouldn't be getting into this fight. Nobody 'pressures' me to do anything: I picked Bosworth's name out of a list because I think I can outscrap her brittle ass! We'll see how polished she is after I scuff her up a bit."

During R1: Classy Kate gets after Mila: Kunis badly beaten. Bos quick-steppin' left around her jab - keeping the jab tip-tip-tapping at Mila's front-facing guard, turning little brunette midring. Short, swift right hands penetrate, punching back Mila's face: Katie cleaning up with quick-flipping left uppercut/left hook combo while pivoting left. Constant pressure on the right flank breaks Mila down: by the minute mark she's getting clipped, drilled, swatted and prodded - much of the ordinance directed towards her too-cute face. Kunis' legs starting to shimmy and stumble beneath her: she's a brave little beauty, keeping mitts up at temples, turning to her right to front on Kate, only to be peppered. Bosworth gradually transforming from boxer to hard-working puncher - still classy off Mila's right shoulder, but abandoning the jab to lean in close and work the power punches. Left hooks; uppercuts right and left off the front (left) foot; straight right hands shocking up the middle: Kate just turning her girl, scuffing her up. Mila all wobbly butt and forlorn by the final moments, grimly keeping her dukes up, facing into one-sided punishment. Kunis still on her feet at bell, swaying, tilting her chin up and making defiant eye contact: Bosworth all business to her corner, taking a 10-8 without the knockdown from a shaken Mila Kunis.

R2: Bosworth in to finish what she's started: weight on left (front) plant leg; small mitts scouring Mila's guard via scraping left uppercuts; palm-down left hooks; drilling straight rights. Mila crouching, trying to move her head as instructed: she's pitching wild as she ducks low, swinging for Kate's chin. Minute mark: Mila strikes paydirt...clanging right hand upside Kate's head startles her, widens her eyes...she steps away, then stumbles as delayed effect hit her knees. Kunis hopping forward, chopping extra right hands and sweeping across her hooks: Bosworth caught in upright position trying to catch Mila uppercuts, getting the worst of the bargain. Bosworth staggering backward on her heels, finally forming up face-in-gloves, elbows in tight to her body: Mila hopping-to as Krusher Korner's screaming "BODY, MILA - BODY!" Kunis strapping on the licks - slender-limbed strokes shivering off Kate's taut flanks as blonde tilts forward. OH, THE LATHERING! Mila baring her teeth, just lashing Kate's ribs: Kunis beating Bosworth in a sad little semi-circle - small mitts snapping, snatching off wiry body with tart little PIK! PAK! noises. Down the stretch, Bosworth weepy - occasionally emerging with tepid right uppercuts, then hunkering back down behind her mitts as Mila won't be backed off. Bell: Mila exuberant, welting Kate's sides late - ref has to pull excited little Krusher off her flabbergasted opponent.

R3: Kate's ribs glowing pink: Mila with a very successful body barrage has slender blonde flat-footed. Kate back to jab-and-go, keeping Mila outside early: blonde wincing as she gets off - damage to obliques and lats taking some pop off Katie's poke. Mila's pretty face lumping up under Kate's cruel touch, but Kunis unfazed: aggressive little brunette constantly forward, facing into blows and trying looping haymakers ticketed for blonde skull. Bosworth picking Mila apart, occasionally staggering her - but Kunis' winging head shots pelting off blonde scalp and shoulders: odd shot destabilizes Bosworth, revealing a shaky leg. Kate retreats to ropes late - covering up face-in-gloves, keeping elbows in: Mila viciously at her blonde - scouring the flanks with that frisky, batting slender-limbed whack-attack. Bell: Kunis probably lost the round, but she's upbeat, beaming and puffy-cheeked at the same time; Kate grimacing - busting up a little around the eyebrows and cringing when probed to the ribs on her stool.

R4: Mila throwing caution to the wind: Kate upright, trying to leg back out of range, but stepping directly into the arc of Kunis' looping headshots. Kate staggered a right hand to temple - she jogs away to her right all woozy and flustered - Mila in hot pursuit. Scouring assault along the ropes sees Kunis lather Kate's flanks - gasping blonde moping face-in-gloves, elbows in tight to body as she absorbs a terrific pasting. Final minute, Bosworth crying out from the body blows: she stands her ground, looks to the right uppercut to solve her problems. Swinging overhand right from Kunis bashes chin, spoiling Katie's right uppercut: blonde right knee gives way, spilling Bosworth in stages to canvas. Kate an awkward jumble of slender limbs and bony edges: she's like a new-born colt trying to push up to all fours, arms skidding out from underneath her. Kate a fighter - she's up at 10, reeling at ropes - but ref waves it off, hugging Kate to his chest as blonde breaks down into shuddering tears. TKO4 in upset fashion, Mila freaking Kunis!

After: Kunis in hysterics - huge win suddenly catapults her into the forefront of 'exciting newcomer' category. Bosworth shaken: she abandons her boxing look a little too early, making herself available to Mila's furious brawling punches - Kunis able to capitalize as blonde torso succumbs to ferocious brunette drubbing. "I beat her body like a drum!" Trumpets a bubbly Kunis in postfight. "I hurt her, and I heard my corner screaming for me to go to her body, and that's what I did. It was perfect - she was really hurt after that and easy to hit: all I had to do was get after her!" Surprising amount of negative commentary arising from the fight: Rachel Bilson calling Kunis "a hack" in Fighting Ingenue magazine; Kris Bell dismissing Mila's effort as a 'bad night for Kate - nothing more' in BLONDE! Magazine; Hannah Spearritt echoing Bell's sentiments, calling Mila a "third rate chippy" in BLONDE! as well.
