Who would I pick? Honestly, I can't bring myself to do that: I just hope they beat the tar out of one another!"

During R1: Ledoyen managing Kreuk's pounce with effective jabs, educated footwork: French girl cutting off the ring, pressurizing her foe. Final minute, Krissy turns the tables: swinging hook upside the head startles Ledoyen; Krissy ducking low, swivel pivoting hard-left, emerging well past Virginie's right flank as French girl's sputtering. Swift one-two pin-points right side of Ledoyen's face, buckling her knees: sidearm, batting right hands punch at Virginie's face from extreme angle off the Ledoyen right shoulder. Virginie clattering backward, trips over her feet and SITS DOWN: French lass up immediately, more embarrassed than hurt, but knocked down regardless. Krissy completes her theft of the round with a snappy left/right on the waist - good, tart, body snatching at bell. Sophie Marceau (retired) doing French Language commentating ringside: she throws her pen down, visibly disgusted with little Virginie early.

R2: Ledoyen sticks to what had been working before she got undressed: piercing jabs; walking Krissy down. Kreuk pressed to the perimeter - she's snarling, hopping side to side, trying to shake pursuit with sudden direction changes. Ledoyen keeping things simple - jabbing Kris in her chest to locate her, then bashing at her from there: French girl distributes clubbing knocks, keeping her opponent on the run bell to bell.

R3: Kristin takes intitiative - flashing her own switch-blade jab to Ledoyen's body. Tummy touches confound Virginie - she's turning, swinging late on receipts as Kris ducks low, pivots away to safety. Kreuk swinging power off her hips as she's ducking to either side: clapping whacks detonating off Ledoyen's jawlines...then Krissy's gone, sliding off to either side. Kreuk on the verge of a shutout when Ledoyen wings a wide right hand to jaw, buckling Krissy's legs, stunning her. Furious follow up drives Kreuk to ropes: Ledoyen with a wide, sweeping hook makes Kris fold forward; French girl digging a rigid right uppercut to ribs, stealing the round out from under Kris.

R4: Hotly contested, two way round - both girls enjoying bright moments. Ledoyen continues to stalk Kris with a wide, slow hook - inducing a Kreuk crouch; Virginie bouncing the right uppercut off Krissy's ribcage - French girl's slender arm shivering on thumping contact. Kris using her legs, circling Ledoyen, then darting in and out: Kreuk swiftly about the Ledoyen waist, snatching body with either hand. Down the stretch, Krissy's knack for scoring as she's ducking has Virginie staring - Kreuk pivoting away while down low, evading receipts.

R5: More two way action - Ledoyen stalking, working behind her jab, trying to bring about frontal collisions. Kreuk hopping about - often with hands at her sides when she's well outside: she's darting in, lashing whippy shots off the hip, ducking-and-pivoting away on the swoop. Krissy also flashing tremendous shoe-shining handspeed in combination - fluffing at Virginie's breasts and breadbasket this round. Showy flurries not hurting Virginie, but tidying her up, forcing her to cover up and wait her turn: Krissy blazes away with flyweight hup-hup for points.

R6,7: Solid, methodical work for Ledoyen as she jabs Krissy into compliance, walks her down, punishes her. Systematic stuff: Virginie with fists pressed into hollows of her cheeks, elbows in: she's simply wading through Kristin's flurries, blocking and rolling, then pressing up the middle behind a sharp stick. Kreuk hounded to perimeter, then pinned down: Ledoyen fixing Krissy's position with the jab, then banging that waist tic-toc via straight-arm, batting licks from both hand hands. Virginie ignoring her foe's head for the nonce - just banking touches in smaller woman's ribcage and tummy. Saucy work getting done to Kristin's small breasts in spots: Virginie proving detail oriented, working the entire torso before her.

R8: Swift Krissy picks Virginie apart via slick right hands. Early on - Ledoyen advancing: Krissy rolls-and-counters a sneaky right uppercut, jolting Virginie upright. Moments later - Krissy slide-stepping to her right - Kreuk turns on a sneaky lead right - scoring to chin, bring the mitt back quick. Sudden right uppercut licks Ledoyen's chin-tip: Krissy scoring, closing up her stance, pivoting left around her left shoulder. Kristin slipping and weaving, making Virginie miss, then snip-snap, swatting French jugs a tasty right uppercut/swiping right combo. That's the gist of it: Virginie stumbling forward, picked apart as nimble Krissy jots, dots, stamps and claps away righty. Bell: Kreuk forcing frosty eye contact, checking for signs of discouragement.

R9: Effective pressure early for Ledoyen gradually gives way to Kristin's vicious counter pot-shotting. Kreuk twitch-feinting Virginie into covering up: Krissy lashes the waistline lefty, pivoting-left to escape. Krissy rolling Virginie right hands, then answering back that snappy right uppercut off the right leg: Ledoyen's head jolted - she's startled long enough for Krissy to side-step right. Pumping jabs up off Krissy's hip a real nuisance: Ledoyen keeping hands up, blocking the tip-tap poke, only to suffer a more serious lashing stroke across her waist or ribs. Moving to her right, Krissy's getting buggywhip right hands off clever feints: Virginie crouching behind her mitts, grimacing as Krissy chops in righty over that exposed left hip. Marceau crying out "Voyons!" gesturing with raised hands: she's riding Ledoyen pretty hard during the broadcast.

R10: Krissy salts it away, blistering Virginie with single shot jolts. Kreuk surgical with that right hand - whipping it wide to body; clipping it tidy to chin; stamping it straight to jug. Krissy's left hand limber and sneaky - slapping hooks upside Ledoyen's head to aid in side-steps; jabbing up off the hip; fitting into ribs via sticky little hooks. Kris constantly falling off to the sides, limber and sleek about her business: Ledoyen frustrated, getting touched up - French girl late on the receipts and getting nibbled. Latter half the round tough for Virginie: she's getting clipped hard to chin, then stumbling face-first to ropes as Kris sidesteps - Kreuk then pouncing at Ledoyen's attempting to rally. All Krissy bell to bell - hurting Virginie, then cleaning up swift-n'-tart to midsection - little gloves digging up French beef PIK! PAK! PEK! Bell: Kristin with a triumphant little eye-twinkle and grin; Ledoyen grimacing, lumpy after 10. Comes back UD10 Kristin Kreuk.

AFTER: Ledoyen's size helps her sustain harsh treatment: Virginie clipped and stroked plenty, but able to withstand Krissy's sleek firepower. Kreuk jubilant - climbing the corners and taunting the French with air-kisses and chest-pounds: plenty of boos and hisses as Kristin rubs it in. Natalie Portman ill amused at ringside: camera catches her baleful glare up into the ring as Virginie drops the ball. Kristin secures France for HISC, putting Spain's Pene Cruz on alert at the border, while Germany scrambles to mobilize Diane Kreuger (secret talks with German-themed Kirsten Dunst also proceeding as Mish draws nigh).
