It‘s super fight time again! One of the true greats of the sport (Amanda Righetti) takes on a woman wanting to become an all-time great (Kendall Jenner) – for the second time in their career, Amanda and Kendall will meet in the ring after their explosive first encounter. Last year on the Proving Ground Fight Night Live event card, Kendall Jenner was able to knock out Amanda in the last few seconds of the tenth and final round, upsetting the redhead to end her all-time best winning streak– both women were down for the count during that fight, a true fight of the year contender. This time, there‘s still plenty of respect between these two girls, but both fighters are clearly looking to conquer the other for good, hoping to define themselves as the sport‘s pound for pound best.

After Kendall had knocked out her nemesis Emily DiDonato and Amanda had defeated former champ Jennifer Lawrence with a brutal knockout, Amanda openly called out Kendall to fight again on the biggest stage of PPV night – a rare all-out challenge from the well-mannered, professionally restrained redhead.

The re-boot of Jenner/Righetti will see both girls at a different point than in 2020: Kendall‘s 2020 was not as stellar as her superfight triumph over Righetti suggested it would become – she‘s only gone 11-6, a less impressive record than in the years before, lost her only title fight, and there‘s been plenty of painful losses, notably including Swift, Upton and DiDonato. Righetti‘s lost her welter title and suffered some soul-searching setbacks against her biggest welter rivals, Upton, Ferguson and Palicki. With Kate Upton now atop the welter throne again, Righetti‘s 2021 quest will be all about clawing back the dominance she‘s firmly held over her division across 2019 – Jenner‘s presumably only the first in a long list of rivals she‘s looking for revenge against this year.

For the past month, the news has been all about how hard both girls have been training for the upcoming battle – Amanda‘s already known as maybe the FCBA‘s hardest working woman, but Kendall‘s surprised many by not posting to her social media over the month, as she took this challenge deadly serious, so neither could have an excuse when it was all said and done. Twenty-four hours before the event, eager fans will finally get to see the two combatants going toe-to-toe during a televised weigh-in event – the girls step out on the stage from opposite sides with a special guest overseeing things, as Ali Landry and Jennifer O‘Dell will co-moderate the event, just as they did last year.

Kendall‘s wearing a metallic blue-coloured silk robe, matching heels, strutting her stuff with her hands on her hips, grinning all over, exuding plenty of sexy confidence – she just knows she can beat Amanda again! On the opposite side Amanda‘s barefoot in a long red robe, her fists clenched at either side, staring at Kendall hard, clearly remembering the last time they were together was a fateful night for her! Kendall‘s heels go off, as the girls go face to face and nose to nose, camera flashes capturing the tense moment – girls don‘t blink, lock eyes, trying to pierce each other‘s soul, as the slightly taller, elegantly poised Kendall‘s trying to block Amanda‘s path, trying to get into the smaller redhead‘s mind.

At Ali‘s behest, Amanda‘s separating first, dropping her robe to reveal a red, sporty bikini to match her auburn locks, revealing the toned body that‘s put so much fear into so many opponents‘s minds. The redhead‘s flexing her arms, smiling, as Ali‘s reading out her weight at 135 pounds! Kendall‘s kept her arms crossed during Righetti‘s weigh-in, trying her best not to look impressed – she‘s slowly opening her own robe, giving the crowd a good show, giggling throughout, as Amanda‘s just rolling her eyes – Jenner‘s revealing a skimpy blue bikini, showing off her impressive, toned frame at 128 pounds, adding some extra muscle so she won‘t be bullied by Righetti‘s welter power!

Pre-fight interview:

Last year‘s superfight ended Righetti‘s legendary 24-fight winning streak, and signalled the start of a difficult year for Amanda in which she‘s only gone 8-4 in her win/loss record, and lost her welterweight title. Any hard feelings regarding Kendall, Ali wants to know with a smile:

“I don‘t dwell on 2020,“ Amanda points out matter-of-factly. “It‘s 2021, and I‘m back to dominate these girls. Sure, the loss‘s bugged me a lot, but she‘s deserved her moment of glory. She was solid against me, no doubt. Deep down, though, I *know* I‘m the better woman. It‘s just a matter of putting it into the ring, now. But yeah, we fought pound for pound, and I don‘t want people saying I‘m not the best ever, just because Kendall‘s got me, right? I‘ve got work to do.“

How did your training go, Ali asks:

“Well, you know I train harder than anyone – I‘m up at 6 every morning for a run, I‘m in the gym by 8 to do weights, and I‘m working on my skills all the time. We‘ve studied endless video on Kendall – she‘s a sorceress in the ring, but I think we‘ve got her figured out a bit!,“ she laughs.

Kendall‘s upbeat, optimistic pre-fight, exuding plenty of confidence after her knockout of Amanda last year:

“I‘m not a welter, but I can speak about lightweight – and against a classy, super fast lightweight like me, Amanda‘s pretty one-dimensional and predictable. There‘s limits to her power at catchweight, and I intend to exploit that. I know I need to hang in with her power – but my only worry‘s taken care of, right? After last year, I already *know* my right hand can blast her lights out, guys! And that just feels good! All those people saw me freakin‘ out-class Amanda in the end – it was a *war* for nine rounds, sure, but when push came to shove, I dragged her into *my* fight, and stopped her out cold! That‘s where I‘m ready to pick up – this fight isn‘t about ‘Manda. It‘s about *me* consolidating my dominance over *her* – control her with my legs, rough her up with my left hands, stop her with my righties. And I want to do it as friggin‘ early as I can!“

The girls step back together, bumping chests, shoulders hard:

“Cocky‘s not a good look for you, Kendall,“ Amanda smiles wrily, locking her eyes with Kendall‘s in a steely stare-down. “You can enjoy the re-runs, but you‘ve only stopped me once. It‘s *never* happening again! It‘s time to respect a fighter who‘s just better than you, girl!“

“You‘re just no longer in my class, Mands,“ Kendall grins back. “Forget about Upton, Ferguson, all those many blondes who‘ve stopped you, too – I am your greatest challenge, woman! I‘m the one challenge you just can‘t pass! I‘m just too young, too strong, too good for your aging legs!“

“Girls – settle this inside the ring, please,“ Ali pleads with a laugh, trying to hold back the tall, fiery girls.

Fight night attire:

Amanda‘s out first, trusted coach Nadia Bjorlin by her side – she‘s deeply serious on her way to the ring. For the fight, she‘s clad in a red sports bra, white trunks with red stripes down the sides, reading “Big Red“ on its waistband, her gloves, boots all red, her auburn red hair‘s tied into a fighter‘s ponytail.

Next, Kendall‘s up, blue streamers flying over her, as she‘s standing with her arms at her side, Gisele Bundchen (coach) and Eva Carneiro (cut woman) next to her – she‘s all in the zone at this point, more focussed on a fight than she‘s been in months. Kendall‘s clad in a baby-blue sports bra, baby-blue trunks reading “Jenner“ across the waistband, blue boots, white gloves, her hair‘s in a ponytail, too.

Inside the ring, Righetti‘s shadow boxing with Nadia, as Kendall‘s bouncing on her toes, while Gisele‘s massaging her shoulders to keep her loose n‘ smooth.

Ali and Jenny share a short moment to discuss the upcoming fight:

“Ali – remember last year? There were about ten, twelve fighters who were asked to do a prediction about the fight, and they *all* said Righetti! We haven‘t asked them this time out, but do you think last year‘s fight might have changed that outlook?,“ Jenny asks with a smirk.

“Well, Jenny, Righetti had won almost twenty-five straight fights back then – it was just unprecented!,“ Ali smiles. “How could you have bet against her? She was the most dominant ever.“

“You know, I‘ve always thought that Kendall‘s quickness, smooth stance and lanky, surprising power‘s had all it takes to shock Righetti‘s world, and she did! I‘m not changing my mind this time, Ali,“ Jenny grins.

“You should!,“ Ali says adamantly. “Righetti‘s a beast – she‘s born for a fight like this. Girls have stopped Righetti in the past, but she won‘t allow Kendall to go 2-0 on her, no way! I think Jenner‘s in for the beatin‘ of a lifetime.“

“Oh, Ali, I think you‘re in for a nasty surprise herself,“ Jenny states confidently. “And so is ‘Manda! Righetti‘s more than a decade older than Jenner, and it‘s got to be a factor at some point. Call me crazy, but I can see Kendall cruising to a victory here, I really do. Righetti‘s got no business fighting younger lightweights any more!“

“Yes, girl, you are crazy!“ Ali laughs. “Righetti‘s more dangerous than ever, and Kendall‘s going to find out just how freaking dangerous she is!“

The ref‘s waving the girls to center-ring – girls stare hard into each other‘s eyes, all tense and fired up, as the crowd‘s chanting both fighters‘s names for the most anticipated rematch of 2021! Girls touch up gloves, bump opposite fists with a nod, jogging back to corners, taking a deep breath – this fight‘s about legacy, as both fighters want to take a further step to being truly immortal in the FCBA, as the loser‘s bound to stay in the winner‘s shadow. Ref‘s good to go – here we go for ten rounds of light and welter catchweight action at 135 pounds!

Ding!, ding!, ding!

The Fight:

R1: Girls show plenty of respect during tense openings – left fists up at (left) eye, as right hands stay pinned back to (right) cheek, the girls pivot close, test each other out. Girls form opposite stances: Righetti‘s less mobile, flat-footed, marching forward – Kendall‘s more leggy, bouncy, springing side to side on her toes, as girls trade first exchanges of rangy, still cautious jabs. Kendall‘s a leggy, poised fighter – she takes lithe, lateral pivots across Righetti‘s front, her right heel up off the canvas, as she‘s trying to keep ‘Manda right there at the bad end of her stiff, rapid poke.

All through the first minute, Jenner‘s being comfortable in there – her smooth, lithe stance‘s allowing her to change the tempo/range at will, upping power/rhythm in sudden, abrupt fashion. Righetti‘s staying rock solid, swaying her big-girl hips on the spot, waiting for Jenner‘s poke – she knows she‘s got to manage Kendall‘s power spurts tonight! Jenner‘s jab rhythm‘s fast, yet still a little soft, subdued, just trying to get a feel for Righetti‘s guard, reactions here – redhead‘s staying in range, parrying Kendall‘s poke, trying to catch Jenner‘s head via quick, *hard* right hands off her shoulder.

Around the minute mark, Kendall‘s loose, leggy stance‘s starting to create some momentum – she‘s drifting back, taking pivots, loping around Righetti‘s flanks.

Amanda‘s jabs get a little short – Kendall‘s jabbing back, stepping left, and triggers a smooth, *oily* right hand cross upside Righetti‘s right cheek! Lithe, lanky power‘s felt all right by redhead – Righetti‘s big-girl quads quiver in a strong jolt, as her head‘s *kicked* back ever so slightly by sneaky, surprising shot! Amanda extends on her jabs, drilling them to Kendall‘s toned abs, stepping close, coming up from a stoop – her rising right hook to Jenner‘s ear *barely* misses a ducking Kendall‘s head! Jenner smiles, pitches back a direct left counter hook to redhead‘s chin – chip!

Second, third minute – Righetti‘s slowly more aggressive, trying to set up her short, heavy jabs in Kendall‘s breasts or solar plexus, hoping to close in, work her raw, brutish power against Kendall on the inside. Jenner‘s eyes wide, alert: she‘s drifting back from ‘Manda‘s choo-choo jabs, legging it out, timing her foe‘s surges – Kendall‘s counter punching‘s just a little more precise, clean so far, swiping the dust off Righetti‘s blushing cheeks! Righetti‘s taking these shots a solid, hard big girl – but you can see the lil‘ jolts n‘ rocks, as Kendall‘s sneaky power‘s getting through!

Final minute – Amanda rolls Kendall‘s lanky left uppercut, tucking back the receipt hook inside Jenner‘s jug/sternum, following it up with a short, muscular hook across Jenner‘s lats, finally shaking her girl up! A stepping hook to Kendall‘s belly‘s got Jenner driven to ropes, back-pedalling – Righetti‘s pushin‘, shovin‘, setting up a series of hard, lashing hooks across her opponent‘s ribcage, ripping ‘em shots in. Jenner‘s not comfortable at the ropes, squirming, jolting up and down – Righetti stretches her elbows, diggin‘ them hooks to Kendall‘s flanks, until Jenner‘s able to tie up, stop the redhead‘s attacks, waiting for the ref to break girls up.

Down the stretch – Righetti‘s upping the tempo, trying to drive Kendall into a corner. CHECK HOOK, KENDALL – a sneaky lil‘ left hook catches redhead‘s chin, as Jenner‘s side-stepping her, bringing all sorts of nasty jolts, trembles into sturdy redhead thighs! Righetti‘s still on the spot, hands lowered, thighs a-quiver – Kendall steps back in, BRUSHES a thudding one-two under ‘Manda‘s left eye, scrub, scrub! There‘s the lil‘ head kick-back, Righetti, her face a grimace, as thighs quiver, hold – bell!

Girls return to corner for break, both upbeat, marching away in workwoman-like fashion – Kendall‘s quicker lightweight credentials a stylistic advantage throughout the opening, closely taking the first round. What‘s Jenny O‘Dell‘s early view? “I like how Kendall‘s defusing ‘Manda‘s raw power – if I were in Righetti‘s camp, I wouldn‘t be happy about the way Jenner‘s already putting hurt into redhead‘s legs!“

R2: Righetti‘s confident, bumping fists with Nadia, as she‘s stepping out of her corner – she‘s on a mission!

Kendall‘s smooth, confident – girls trade *scrumptious* jabs at mid-ring, constantly jostlin‘, battlin‘ for positions. Jenner‘s tall, relaxed, trying to trigger her jab past ‘Manda‘s right hands, pawing out for Righetti‘s jugs, face – she eats Righetti‘s rifling receipts instead! Redhead upping the tempo, hardness of her legendary jabs as if on command – quick, doubled up rhythms rifle at Kendall‘s pretty face, busting her up! Righetti‘s weaving inside off her jabs, stepping into her punches, sprawling Jenner out – a short, riflin‘, hammerin‘ right hand knocks at Kendall‘s cheek! Jenner‘s giving ground, slowly back-pedalling from ramrod poke – she‘s out circling, side-stepping, regrouping, just trying to negotiate ‘Manda‘s power.

About a minute in – Kendall‘s responding to Amanda‘s power surge, slowly reading tempo/rhythm of redhead‘s jabs.

Lightweight quickness, tempo‘s so crucial for Jenner – her leggy side-steps/pivots set up *crisp*, rapid-fire combos of two, three tall, rangy counter hooks just upside Righetti‘s forehead/temple – just enough rat-a-tat counter work to stop Amanda from bull-dozing her, forcing redhead to tighten up guard, protect herself, find better angles for her raw power!

Mid-round, Kendall paws out with her straight left hand, just trying to set up her own rhythm again – Righetti‘s deflecting the shot, shrugging back the short right hand to Jenner‘s lips, *snapping* her head back! Kendall‘s hurt, loosely bicycling away to ropes, setting up earmuff – ‘Manda squares up on her! Jenner‘s loose, alert in the pocket, rolling the shots – she‘s struggling with Righetti‘s weight/power, trying to wiggle out of there fast.

Thud, thud – Righetti‘s shovin‘, riflin‘ in gruesome body shots to Kendall‘s flanks, dipping her shoulders for the extra hard bit of leverage, as Amanda‘s leaner catchweight frame‘s just as strong as ever. Clinches all about Righetti‘s power – Kendall‘s grimacing, trying to wiggle out of there, set up her lanky hips inside Amanda‘s legs, reverse positions against bigger welter girl! Ref‘s break tuff, long – he‘s barking his stern commands until the girls finally release the hold, as Righetti‘s still trying to press Kendall deep into ropes!

Final minute – Righetti‘s stance‘s loose, crouchin‘, as she‘s steadily stalking Kendall around the ring. Jenner‘s out-hit, but still leggy, upbeat – she‘s only starting to double up her own jabs late, finding Righetti‘s cheeks/ears via tall, precise left-hand rifles, creating better range/distance.

During the break, our pundit Ali Landry‘s pretty happy: “Not much *any* girl can do when Righetti‘s jabs start rifling you like that, right, Jenny?“ – “Sure, Ali,“ Jenny smiles. “But let‘s wait to see how Righetti‘s stamina will hold up late.“

R3: It‘s Kendall‘s time to adapt: she‘s working more behind her tall, extended double jab up top, trying to stick it to Amanda‘s left side, staying wide-legged, springy – she‘s also digging in a few short, *ramming* right hands to Righetti‘s ribs, making redhead grit her mouthpiece, as Jenner‘s supporter‘s cheers grow louder. Righetti weaves under Kendall‘s left arm jab, socking the hard lil‘ palms-down right hand to Jenner‘s left breast, oomph!, stepping left to follow up – bait n‘ switch hook, Kendall! Righetti bites it, munches Kendall‘s stroke upside redhead‘s right side of face – ‘Manda‘s (right, back) leg skids off the canvas in shock, unhinging her steps, stepping in fence, her eyelashes aflutter. Clean- up, Kendall – she‘s driving Righetti ropeward, as looping right hands clobber at redhead‘s ears! Big Red‘s stabilizing her legs – short, shrug uppercuts off her right shoulder chase Kendall off again!

Second minute – girls play bait n‘ switch, chasing each other across the canvas.

Kendall‘s leggy, rangy – but Amanda‘s a tricky opponent to keep on the outside for long. A fast jab n‘ weave sets her up in Jenner‘s breadbasket again, edging in shoulder to shoulder – once inside she‘s dippin‘, diggin‘ short left/right hooks at Kendall‘s ribs/tummy, as Jenner squirms, trying to shove off the bigger girl.

Final minute – girls set up wide, leggy combat stances, going toe to toe, triggering shots off the shoulder, bam, bam!

Kendall‘s digging her feet in, trying to go physical with the welter girl – right hand feint, Jenner! Righetti blinks in confusion, steps right – Kendall‘s stepping in on her left leg instead, shruuuuugggging the short, curt, *muscular* palms-down lefty hook to redhead‘s stunned jaw! Kendall‘s sneaky, lanky power‘s got Righetti‘s legs buckling hard, shuddering on the spot, her eyes blinking fast – she‘s hurt!

Down the stretch – Righetti‘s defensive, as Kendall‘s stalking her to ropes.

Welter big girl‘s set up on the apron, dipping side to side, her mitts cupping earmuff at either side – Kendall‘s constantly switching up position/angle, trying to find the sweet spot between ‘Manda‘s mitts, blast her lights out. Jenner‘s planting her feet, throwing wicked combinations – much harder for redhead to see where the hits are coming off, as Kendall‘s targeting her toned abs repeatedly. Righetti duly opens up aggressively, shrugging her right haymaker – Kendall dips it, *gently* strokes the right hook to Righetti‘s left ear, sending another round of tasty, scrumptious tremors down sturdy redhead legs!

Bell: Kendall‘s upbeat, smiling on her stool, as Amanda‘s sweat-drenched face‘s wiped down, while Nadia Bjorlin‘s just a little concerned at this point – “It‘s time to hurt Jenner, ‘Manda! Keep it right in her face, draw her into a lil‘ shoot-out – she‘s gotta feel your freakin‘ power, girl!“

R4: Girls step out of opposite corners, strong bodies glistening with a little sweat – girls trade stiff blows, as raised mitts jolt and tremor under the blasts! Righetti‘s eyes narrow, hateful – she‘s surging to Kendall, pounding flat, hard *jab whacks* to brunette‘s pretty face, trying to pin down her slippery, leggy opponent! Kendall‘s head‘s knocked back hard early, forcing to her circle out, re-group, spooked by redhead‘s immense power – and Amanda‘s stepping into her jabs in Kendall‘s pursuit! A couple of leggy pivots later: Righetti reaches out, extends into a jab hammer – Kendall leans onto her right leg, drawing out Big Rigs out quite a bit over her feet, and – CHECK HOOK, KENDALL!

Kendall‘s expert little shoulder roll sees Righetti‘s jab fly harmlessly over brunette‘s left shoulder, as Kendall TRIGGERS the lefty check hook – creating power all the way up from her hips, and splashing it to Amanda‘s jaw! Righetti‘s face‘s a startled frown on sudden impact, jolting up – SHE‘S SPRAWLED OUT ONTO HER BUTT!

Righetti‘s pretty much whipped to the canvas by combination of good leverage plus slick power, as her legs lock up tight, her right leg failing beneath her – she‘s a stunned, staring beauty, her eyes going dizzy, blinking at the lights!

Ref‘s starting to count welter girl out – “1, 2, 3“!

Redhead‘s muscles tense up, firm, her eyes hardening into focus again – she‘s quickly up on her right knee, as her senses start to come back! Kendall pumps her right fist into the air, heading to a neutral corner, her face a wide beam of trimph at this point – has she conquered mighty ‘Manda *again*? No! Righetti‘s up at “7, 8“, hopping, smiling, nodding at the ref – she thinks she‘s good to go! And the ref‘s waving her back in...

Second, third minute – Kendall‘s cautious, leggy, not rushing in yet after flashy knockdown, but she‘s in control! Righetti‘s mostly staying in earmuff – she‘s riding things out at the ropes, wrapping up meatily around Kendall‘s flanks/hips, bulling her back step-a-step to mid-ring for sweaty ref‘s breaks. Redhead‘s reactions, defenses strong, alert – she‘s rolling her torso, answering out of the crouch, stooping back hooks/crosses to Kendall‘s jugline, ribs.

Down the stretch – Kendall‘s smooth, circling her prey, feinting shots, spooking Righetti‘s guard.

Right hand, Kendall! Right hand, Kendall!

Jenner‘s wading in, as Righetti‘s leaning forward into her – during the ensuing trade, two STIFF, shrug right hands to redhead‘s jugs/sternum jolt her up, light up her pretty face into a grimace, as Righetti‘s suffering from these body blows! Kendall‘s getting a lil‘ physical late, rubbing heads with ‘Manda in the pocket until the bell, showing her big-girl credentials – she‘s scrubbin‘, swattin‘ away her foe, keeping Righetti pinned to the ropes! Righetti‘s shields-up, dipping, ducking, crouching away from Kendall‘s flurry of shots – she stumbles around wobbly-butt after the bell, trying to find her feet!

During the break – Jennifer O‘Dell‘s quick to comment: “This is Kendall‘s fight so far, no doubt about it. She‘s holding up well against Righetti‘s power, and she‘s outfoxing her! Let‘s see how much Righetti‘s got left in her tank after this!“

R5: There‘s an aura of confidence around Kendall now – she‘s moving out fast, loping around Amanda‘s flanks, as piston-like jabs sting, sting, sting at Righetti‘s cheeks, a satisfied smirk on her face, as redhead‘s guard‘s tight, closed, defensive! Jenner‘s jab‘s key during these moments – she‘s in forward aspect, repulsing Righetti‘s attempts to step n‘ weave to the inside with a tall, pulsing, aggressive jab herself. Kendall‘s set up mid-ring, left leg out front, leg shoulder out, a-jabbin‘ for glory – she‘s knock-knocking at Righetti‘s eyes/mouth, disrupting her, startling her, slowly jolting her into compliance. Redhead‘s starting to lean out, pedal away, hop on the spot – she‘s unsure, frustrated, as classy Kendall‘s pulsin‘, pokin‘ jabs punish her attempts to get inside!

A minute in – buggywhip body shot, Righetti!

Redhead‘s chopping her righty hook *under* Kendall‘s jab, timing her – shot SLAMS to Kendall‘s lat/flank, breaking up the tall, stiff stance for once, having her wince, groan a little! Jenner steps back, trying to right her torso, extending a jab to get Righetti off – ‘Manda deflects it, steps in the lefty body hook to Jenner‘s right jug, oomph!
