Megan Fox vs Kate Bosworth

BEFORE:
Some critics say Megan Fox is cruising her way into the Hall-of-Fame, when the thought of qualifying hadn’t even registered in the Vixen’s mind in the past few years.

“I’m honestly honoured to even be considered, but at the end of the day, who I want to fight is up to me and my management. If I want to kick some blonde’s ass who beat me years ago, that’s entirely my prerogative, thank you very much,” Fox says from the press table earlier on.

Bosworth of course doesn’t like the sound of that, playing up the veteran fighter’s weakness in choosing to fight her tonight. “Big talk for someone who lost big all those years ago. I’m honestly surprised that Fox has made it this far, and if she manages to get into the Hall-of-Fame by beating someone like me, what does that say about the rest of her career? I have nothing to lose and everything to gain in this fight. So if she wants to take a swing at me, who am I to say no?”

Ladies square off at the podium, with Kate just four years older and coming in with a one-inch height advantage. She still looks stunning for her age, quickly pushing towards Cougar status, though Megan looks equally unintimidated as she raises her chin towards an old rival.

We’re in the ring 24 hours later, Bosworth looking fit as a fiddle in her bright blue bikini and white gloves, whilst Megan going all dark and brooding with a black bikini that accentuates her toned figure. Referee signals for the bell and HERE WE GO with ten rounds of Flyweight action!

ROUND 1:
Kate actually giving Megan trouble early, staying at a distance and avoiding the veteran Flyweight’s attacks. Megan acting complacent here, knows she’s got the better experience of the pair but that doesn’t mean she should be so brazenly charging at the blonde, fists flying and landing all over the guard but not doing much damage as a result. Bosworth steady, blocking those shots aimed at her head, then expertly avoiding more hooks thrown at her body. Slowly, she punts Fox’s head back with short, snappy jabs, then a swift hook or two dinging into the chin, sending the Vixen reeling. Not the best comeback round for Megan Fox indeed, who had wanted to make a clear statement tonight that she’s in control of her own destiny. Kate smirks at the very thought when the bell rings, pumping a fist in the air as she heads back to her corner wide.

ROUND 2:
Bosworth, however, can’t quite compete when her opponent settles down herself, Fox staying at range this time, on deliberate purpose trading leather from afar with the blonde, each exchange designed to do more damage than her older counterpart. It works, with Bosworth grunting as her head gets thrown backwards and to the side, Fox targeting the nose and lips and cheeks as she picks her shots and lands with crisp jabs. Bosworth on the other hand is doing her best to counter and plant equal leather on the Vixen’s body and face, but her attacks are always disrupted mid-flight by a faster right hand sunk into her face or body, and the end result is Megan pushing her former foe backwards at a constant pace. Round ends and Fox redeems her honour, for now, taking the round wide and growing in confidence for the remainder of this fight.

ROUND 3:
Megan continues to dominante, taking advantage of Kate’s hesitation as she hounds the blonde across the ring and back, that fast moving right hand doing wonders as she socks Bosworth across the lips repeatedly or bunches up the cheek whenever Kate wants to return fire, but fails. Bosworth opts to stay away, arms locked over her head to avoid more punishment, but Fox simply switches to targets down south, battering away at her toned tummy with lefts and rights, further driving the air from the actress’ lungs. Last few seconds and we have a wild melee erupting in the center, as Kate decides enough’s enough, ties up with Megan as they both scramble for leverage, arms wrestling and shooting over each other and Kate at least delivering more nasty shots to the lips and chin. But the bell rings soon after, and Megan walks away beaming with another wide round to herself.

ROUND 4:
Fox actually getS surprised by the blonde’s sprite and power, Kate refusing to go down without a fight as the two women clash in the middle of the ring. Bosworth takes the first one-two combo clean to the nostrils but then blasts the Vixen’s head to the side with a well-timed hook, and suddenly, it’s all the blonde’s show! Fox grunting as she experiences her power first-hand, recovers just in time for another hard knock to land to the side of her head as Kate powers in close, eager to make a name for herself even at her age. Fox covering up, retreating, but Kate pushes herself forward, keeping pace as she buries more gloves into the Vixen’s toned tummy, then blasts away at her arms up high, until finally, Fox lets out a shout of panic as yet another hook catches her on the chin - BLAM!! And DOWN she goes, sent off her feet as Kate bellows her dominance from above!! It’s a shocking KNOCKDOWN from Bosworth, who’s achieved the unbelievable feat in the fourth! Could this be an early night for Megan Fox??

Fox sputters on her chest, one arm already reaching for the bottom rope as she hears the referee’s steady counting from above. Kate doing her best to hide her own glee as she recuperates back in her corner, both arms draped over the turnbuckle, a wide smile from ear to ear as she thinks this boxing thing is in her blood. But Fox does manage to recover by the count of 7, and it’s quite a scare for the Vixen, who was out for blood in the opening round but now in danger of bleeding out herself.

ROUND 5:
Fox rallies best she can, gulping in breaths of air as she tries to regain her sense of balance. Bosworth looking smug behind those gloves, and perhaps this is exactly how their previous fights had gone: with Megan overconfident and cocky, underestimating her opponent’s fighting prowess. Bosworth, however, is definitely moving slower than usual. She tries to rush at Fox multiple times, firing her jab and then trying to take her chin with a hook, but they mostly miss, as Fox is too alert and energetic to get caught this early in the fight, the Vixen easily scooting out of the way before planting leather back on Kate’s face. Round ends with not as much action as the previous ones, but at least we know Fox is back in the fight, with the rest of the five rounds looking like a possibility.

ROUND 6:
Kate again scores some unexpected blows to the Vixen’s face, Megan initially thinking the she was tiring herself out and ready for a dish of cold revenge. But Bosworth was just somewhat playing possum, waiting for the opportune moment to spring forth with a flurry of punches, catching Megan off-guard and forcing her to eat more leather to the lips. Fox however quickly backs away, cursing herself for falling for the rookie trick. She falls back into her jabbing defensive pattern, dissuading Kate from chasing after her. Fine by Bosworth, who’s already confident that she’s won this round for herself by a small margin. Fox doesn’t opt to try and even the score, and both girls continue circling each other like hawks till the time runs out.

ROUND 7:
Megan, more cautious as she advances, won’t make the same mistake three times in a row as she closes in with fast jab combos, testing Kate’s defences as we head into the last quarter. Some critics still say that Bosworth wasn’t a worthy enough opponent for the former Flyweight champion, but look where they are right now: circling each other and throwing fast jabs into the face and chest, still working each other over as though we’re back in the first round. Megan however, senses holes in the blonde’s wilting defence, as Kate’s having a harder time keeping her arms tight over her face. A sudden WHAM to the nose catches her off balance, as another and another fast hand comes screaming inwards, Fox just going to town now that she senses blood, rocking Bosworth with haymaker after haymaker! OUCH! Kate getting dinged and dazed, her head thrown backwards and to the side as the blows keep landing. Suddenly, it’s all too much for the blonde, as a final punt to the chin sends her stumbling backwards and down onto her bum, where she simply collapses onto her back with a thud!! It’s a return KNOCKDOWN for Megan Fox in KO7 fashion, Kate simply NOT getting off her back for the remainder of the 10-count! Referee waves his hands over her prone body and declares this fight OVER!

Official Decision: Megan Fox defeats Kate Bosworth via KO7!

AFTER:
A much deserved win for Megan Fox, who continues to tidy up unfinished business according to her book of records. Kate looking knocked silly seated by the ropes, half awake as she’s tended to by the medical team. Fox actually shows her some compassion as she stays by her side for a minute or so, making sure Bosworth’s still alive before she heads to all four corners of the ring, beating her chest with her glove and soaking in the cheers of her fans.

“One more step forward for me,” she tells reporters later by ring-side. “And to all the naysayers who still claim I’m cruising easily into the Hall-of-Fame… you haven’t seen nothin’ yet!”
