Intro:
Rematch time here as the two busty brawlers meet up, Sophia Bush and Demi Lovato both want to be in the title hunt, the first time around Sophia beat Demi by stoppage in the eight round back in 2016, can Sophia repeat that success or will Demi get revenge.

Back then the rules they fought under were JMD, Sophia was able to pound out Demi enough to force the referee to stop the fight, while they were friendly before the bout, Sophia still humiliated Demi in classic JMD style.

Now five years later they are going to fight again, on the way to the bout they were interviewed by Alicia Atout for the FCBA Network, first heading into the Girls Friday stable to watch Sophia sparring with her stablemate Kaya Scodelario, both fighting hard up to the bell where they hug.

Leaning on the top rope wearing a white sports bra, matching tight trunks and gloves, Sophia waves to Alicia with a beaming smile, asking her "I don't look too old do I?" Laughing as Alicia smiles at her.

After climbing out the ring, Sophia sits on the ring apron to give Alicia her statement on the fight, telling the interviewer "I remember the first time me and Demi met, she was telling me how much she respected me, then told me that I was finished in her eyes as a threat, that I was too old for this, that was five years ago and I am still fighting elite contenders" getting a drink as she looks proud of herself.

"I guess Demi thinks that enough time has past for her to finally beat me, she wasn't good enough then and isn't now" finishes Sophia, then she taps Alicia on her right shoulder before leaving to go talk to coach Hilary Swank.

Meanwhile when Alicia catches up with Demi, it is out in a park with both drinking a coffee on a large bench, Demi looking reflective as she admits "I have really needed to look at myself these past few years, to think everyone thought I had the world at my feet when really I was on the ground" looking out at a pond nearby before taking a drink.

"I am at peace with myself and this is where I start my recover in the ring, Sophia I know still holds my comments before our first fight against me, now she is even older so I don't know what she expects me to think of her" Demi chuckling as Alicia nods at her.

Putting the coffee down to her right side on the bench, Demi raises her fists as she tells Atout "these are all I need to make myself a great in the FCBA, I have over thought things, I have been sick with nerves and nearly ruined myself with fear, that is in my past, now it's time I grab the future for myself" Alicia nodding with a smile as the interview finishes with both talking about life and the view.

Fight night, out through the curtain first is Sophia, she has Hilary Swank and cut woman Eva Carneiro beside her, smiling as she looks relaxed, seeming to enjoy fighting more for fun as much as to seek gold now, her fans cheering her on as she goes.

Sophia steps into the ring wearing a white sports bra with black trim, white trunks with black trim and her surname written in black on her waistband, black shoes with white trim as well as black gloves, her hair is tied into a ponytail.

Jogging to her corner, Sophia nods to her fans, Hilary telling her "work to the body, keep on the move and wear her out" fist bumping Sophia as they smile, till they turn to look at the aisle for the arrival of Lovato.

Who comes out looking all business, Demi has Julie Benz in her corner tonight, both jogging down the aisle as Demi bangs her gloves together, refocused on the task of claiming gold in the FCBA.

Demi is wearing a black sports bra with white trim, matching trunks with white gloves with black thumbs, black boots, while her hair is tied into a ponytail too as she steps into the ring, Demi nodding over to the referee as she heads to her corner.

"She can't take your power, you know that Demi, keep your eyes on the prize this time" Julie tells Demi, the singer shadow boxing as she paces side to side, her fans chanting her name as they stand up.

Referee brings the fighters together, going nose to nose as they square up, eyes locked in a tense stare off, fists clenched as both have a lot to prove, for Sophia she wants to remind Demi who is the better woman, for Demi it is reminding the world whose the best in this ring.

Ordered to touch gloves, the fighters bump their gloves into their opponent's set with a crack of leather, jogging to their corners as the duelling chants ring out for the two popular fighters, once ready the referee signals for the bell to be rung to start 10 rounds of bantamweight action.

Round 1:
Looking similar in their stances as they trade jabs to start, Demi stepping in when she sees an opening, banging in two hooks to the body as Sophia grits her mouthpiece, landing a clipping left to the top of Demi's head as she takes a step back.

It's clear Demi wants to push the pace, banging in several punches through the guard of her opponent to knock back her head, taking the center of the ring as she shows off that power Julie spoke of.

But when she swings in a left cross, Sophia leans out the way and lands her best punch of the round with a right hook as she comes back, then digging in two body shots before getting clipped herself.

Sophia coming back into the round as they enter the final minute, landing more combinations as the fighters trade more around the ring, Demi continuing to come on the front foot, drilling straight punches into the cheeks of Bush.

Final seconds of the round sees Demi land a one-two combo that sends Sophia onto the ropes, where the actress has to cover up as Demi throws a flurry at her, the bell rings with Demi jogging back to a happy looking corner crew after a strong opener.

Round 2:
Maybe Sophia just came out the gates slowly as she now is doubling up her jab, keeping Demi more on the outside as they move around the ring, stiff punches banging into stunning faces when they land.

When Demi comes inside she gets clipped by a left on her jaw, a right then slams into her chest to make her grunt out as Sophia moves out of her way, the younger woman maybe too keen to charge down her opponent, getting caught more now.

Half way through the round, the singer manages to get a tune out of Bush as she manages to knock her back with a straight on the nose, then rifles in three body shots that make Sophie groan out.

Pressed onto the ropes, Sophia isn't want to cover up this time, leading to a more fiery exchange that sees them barking in effort, the crowd cheering as the fighters brawl it out, which seems to suit Demi more as Sophia is getting beaten back.

At the end of the round, Sophia nodding to Demi as she knows that she is really up for this, both sitting on their stools listening to their coaches, the Lookout corner looking more comfortable of the two, Hilary needing to tell Sophia to time her shots better.

Round 3:
Moving with straight forward attacks, looking to take out Sophia early it looks like judging by more power punches coming from Demi, Sophia smartly keeping on the move, not wanting to eat a big hook if she can help it.

Ducking under a left cross, Sophia drills in two left hooks under the ribs of Demi, who steps back to look for a chance to land something, SOPHIA LANDS A BEAUTIFUL UPPERCUT ON THE CHIN OF DEMI TO SEND HER ON TO HER BACKSIDE!

The Lookout corner look stunned by what just happened, Julie saying "no" as she shakes her head, 1...2...3... Demi punches the canvas as she pushes up to her knees, a more annoyed look then hurt, 4...5...6.. Lovato pushes to her feet, fists raised ready for more.

Coming back together, Sophia is starting to put her punches together noe, making Demi's nostrils start bleeding as she drills a one-two square into her nose, Bush taking the center for herself as Demi has to tighten her guard up more.

When the bell rings Demi takes a breath to keep relaxed, Julie working on her nose as she tells Demi to be careful, probably something she probably doesn't need to, Sophia meanwhile not celebrating yet as she tells to Hilary.

Round 4:
Landing more combinations as she steps after Demi, Sophia has a bullseye to target now as more blood starts to run from the singers nose, making Lovato cover up more and not be as aggressive now.

Not to say Demi isn't landing some good punches out the guard, Sophia sticking inside a little too long, gets a left hook to the side of her head for her troubles, getting a good run of punches together just before the end of the first minute.

But when Demi has Bush near the ropes, she misses with a straight as Sophia slips it, banging in two uppercuts to the body, then an overhand left catches Lovato on the side of her head now.

A double jab bangs into the face of Demi, who finds herself under assault as Sophia turns up the heat, Demi needing to use her own footwork and staunch defence to protect herself, not looking happy that she is struggling to land with much steam.

Final moments see Demi come out her guard when her back touches the ropes, landing some hard shots as Sophia looks surprised that Demi still has a lot of fight in her, at the bell both bounce on their toes staring hard into each others eyes.

Returning to their corners, Sophia has firmly taken the lead in the fight, Demi still looks as determined, banging her gloves together as if to tell herself to keep fighting, Julie patching up her nose again in silence, letting Demi think this through.

Round 5:
Sophia back behind the double jab, wanting to find an opening of her own as Demi moves more on her own toes, showing her boxing skills instead of just walking down Bush, cheeks starting to redden up on both women.

A double jab finds its way onto the forehead of Demi, Sophia just misses with an uppercut as Demi gets her head out the way in time, countering with a left hook onto the jaw of the actress to turn her head with sweat flying.

Suddenly momentum turns once again, Demi creating a mouse under the right eye of Sophia with a left cross, pounding more punches into the face of Sophia, pressing her around the ropes, making Sophia have to fight back.

Sophia is getting beaten back, forced to clinch up as her right eye is starting to swell up, referee needed to pry them apart as kidney blows come in, that competitive edge of both women on show as they are doing anything to win this.

Coming back together with eyes locked, both are grunting out when they get hit, Sophia drills in a double jab/straight just before the bell rings, sitting on their stools, both are sore but looking ready for more.

Round 6:
Coming together at the ring center, Sophia throwing in more hooks to the body, using her left forearm to try to bump back Demi, stopping the younger woman from getting set in her stance.

Demi takes a step back with a jab landing under the right eye of her opponent, Sophia cries out as a right hook follows onto her jaw to rock her back, A LEFT HOOK THEN SMACKS SOPHIA ON HER CHIN, SENDING HER REELING DOWN TO THE CANVAS ON HER BACK!

Jogging to the neutral corner with her arms in the air, Demi enjoys the cheers from her fans, 1....2...3... Sophia groans as she holds her chin, 4...5...6... Blinking as she looks to the lights, Sophia looks glassy eyed, 7...8... Gumshield hanging out her mouth, 9...10 Sophia is counted out!

Winner Demi Lovato KO Round 6

After:
Demi is smiling warmly to the crowd as they chant her name, she raises her arms in the air as she looks out to them, looking so proud of herself for getting revenge on Sophia for their first fight, while for the most part looking impressive.

Over to Sophia she comes, sitting on her chest as she lightly taps the cheeks of the beaten fighter, Demi asks "is anyone there?" With Sophia looking up with a worried expression, Hilary steps into the ring yelling at Demi not to try anything.

Leaning down over Sophia as she looks ready to smother out, Demi laughs as she whispers "next time I'll batter your tits and punish you for trying me you old cow" tapping Sophia's left cheek lightly with her right glove, getting up off Bush to go to her corner.

Hilary rushes to help up Sophia, acting as a crutch to get her back to her own corner, Sophia looks embarrassed as she stares at the canvas, Hilary needing to console her as she kneels down, telling Sophia to keep her chin up.

Across the ring Demi hugs Julie, who tells her "that's my girl, Sophia knows she can't compete with you anymore" Demi nodding as she gets her gloves taken off, a more confident looking Lovato it seems has come through after years of self doubt.

Coming to the center of the ring, Sophia can't even look at Demi, giving her a round of applause as Demi gets her right hand raised by the referee, a loud cheer ringing out as Demi yells "this is my time!" Pointing at herself as she takes a step forwards.

Climbing out the ring, Sophia still has a future but is it competing at the top level now? Hilary is talking to Eva as they let Sophia have some peace to think, both look a little worried how gutted she took this defeat, maybe because of how cutting Demi's words were.

The winner meanwhile poses for the cameras with her fists raised and a serious look, challenging anyone to come take her on as Julie makes it known "this is the best in the division" Demi grinning at that comment.

They both leave the ring soon after Demi bows to the crowd, there's definitely a different aura around her then she had even a few short months ago, maybe this reborn version of Demi can finally get back to the mountain top, there have been a few false dawns but this feels different with her demeanor being more confident.
