Sayuki Matsumoto vs Nicola Cavanis

Nicola arrives in green lingerie while Sayuki arrives wearing a black sports bra and corresponding short shorts. Both know little about the other, as the two come from opposite ends of the earth and this is Nicola’s second match. The match begins without much passing between the fighters.

R1: Quick out of her corner, Sayuki is straight into action, throwing big, looping hooks at Nicola’s face, and the German is feeling their full force in the first minute. Then she gets caught with a ripping left hook which sends her gumshield spinning from her mouth, then a straight right to the eye which has her head snapping back – the referee does her a favour by calling time out to retrieve her gum shield and places it back in Nicola’s mouth. The brief reprieve helps Nicola, who strikes Sayuki’s body with two neat jabs. The former champion merely scowls at the blows and nearly smashes Nicola’s lovely face in with a thundering jab, blood beginning to trickle from the newcomer’s nose. She continues her assault, forcing Cavanis to the ropes, but is unable to finish off the battered woman before the bell rings.

R2: Nicola seems to have recognized that she may very well lose this match if Sayuki is allowed to keep working her over like she did in the first round, and is taking the offensive as the round begins. She strikes Sayuki in the ribs several times, but also takes two to the belly herself. This round is a round of exchanges and negotiation, with each side deciding what to give to the opponent and what they’re taking in return. Though, Sayuki, as experienced as she may be, is losing this “trade war” as she’s trading two blows for three in return. Nicola is able to gain the advantage, but is not able to press it as she took quite a large amount of punishment in the beginning.

R3: “If I’m to win the match, this is it,” thinks Nicola.

Sayuki may be hurt now, but there’s no guarantee that she’ll stay that way and rise with a second wind, stealing victory from her grasp. And so Nicola goes all out, surprising the veteran with blazing ferocity, catching her in the face, jugs, and stomach. Though Matsumoto tries to fight back, Nicola’s assault overpowers her defense, punches catching her in the ribs three times in quick succession. It’s Sayuki who’s at the ropes now, and the fight comes to a dramatic climax when Nicola catches Sayuki in the chin with an uppercut, knocking the poor woman out cold.

She’s barely awake by the time the ref reaches ten.

Winner: Nicola Cavanis via KO3!

Post-match: Though there was little between the two before the match, there will be now, as Nicola claims Sayuki’s bra for her own, and grabs her fallen opponent by the hair. Nicola slaps her once across each cheek to wake her up. She presses Sayuki’s face into her cleavage and holds her there until the girl is out cold again, then lets her slide to the mat before hopping out of the ring joyously.
