“There is no conflict of interest here,” Kiana defended herself from preflight allegations that Taylor was a promoter’s pet. “All I see here is on e of the best blonde/brunette match ups in boxing. If I wanted to pamper Taylor, I certainly wouldn’t have made Wilson/Cole in the first round. All I’ve ever promised Taylor as her promoter is that I would procure the bet, toughest competition available--the rest is up to her.”

Cole proved herself to the former champ and bigger woman with a debilitating right in the ribs followed by a clocking right on the ear which sprawled Wilson to her back seconds into the fight. Torrie came off the canvas fighting, and one of the most ferocious big-woman tussles since Henstridge/Landry erupted as the girls stood toe-to-toe, getting off like bantamweights inside. It was Wilson’s turn to set Taylor on her heels in the second with a crunching right uppercut, followed by a shutout third for a stalking blonde, but in the fourth, Taylor Cole’s relentless power proved decisive. Stepping to Torrie with that ripping right in the body setting up clubbing rights to the head, Cole waded through torrid Wilson right hands to batter her blonde to the canvas for the second and final time. Torrie spluttered, rocking on her back in a paralyzed effort to roll to her side, making Taylor the upset KO4 winner.
