R1: The two Japanese ladies go at each other with fervent energy, and it is the younger and more often victorious Saaya that manages to seize the upperhand. The older Sayaka has trouble fending her off and retreats all the way to the ropes. The retreat gives her a bit of room to wall up and survive round one.

R2: Sayaka takes it slow and steady, opting for a defensive strategy to wear Saaya out. It works, and Saaya’s attacks fizzle against her opponent’s defense. The round goes to Sayaka by a small margin.

R3: The energy spent in round two still hasn’t come back for Saaya, and Sayaka manages to break through her guard, hitting her in the face and chest. It’s all she can do to maintain even footing, and the decision to stand her ground causes Saaya to eat a shot to the face that nearly knocks her down. She stands, and the bell rings soon after.

R4: Saaya throws all of herself behind an uppercut and it sinks into Sayaka’s belly, folding her over. Despite several attempts to get up, the older woman crumples back down each time. The ref gets to ten and the match is over.

Winner: Saaya Irie via KO4!
