Kaia Gerber vs Scarlett Leithold

Kaia:

BEFORE:
“Yeah, I’ve heard of Scarlett. We’ve met a few times backstage on the runway, but I wouldn’t say we’re close or anything. So it’s a bit surreal to see her sitting across the table from me and later on, opposite a boxing ring.”

“Ditto for me,” Scarlett says, flipping her blonde hair back with a cheeky expression on her face. “I mean, we’ve ALL heard of the great Kaia Gerber, haven’t we? Daughter of the legendary Cindy Crawford and all that jazz. Word of advice, Gerbil? Once we get in the ring, it’s every woman for herself. There’s no running for mummy once we’re in there.”

Classic blonde vs brunette match-up here as the next generation of supermodels test their chops against each other. Kaia and Scarlett pose at center stage, fists raised to the chin and Scarlett still smirking wide while chewing gum, and Kaia with a serious glare back, her brows knitted in determination and irritation.

Later, we’re in the arena and getting ready for ten rounds of Lightweight action. Kaia stretching in corner, black-laced brassiere for a top and white short boxing trunks for bottoms. She’s also strapped on a pair of red gloves on either hand. Scarlett tying her blonde hair back into a neat ponytail, pink-white striped bikini top and dark blue boxing trunks for bottoms. She’s putting the finishing touches on her black gloves as the referee calls the match to order. HERE we go!

ROUND 1:
Girls are still in their maiden voyage of fights and it shows - sloppy start as they traded verbal barbs earlier but now barely trading any jabs in the first minute, still moving hesitant at the prospect of getting punched in their pretty faces, making them flinch at the smallest sign of trouble. Scarlett at least pushes her advantage at certain points, follows an initial jab up with a sudden barrage sent towards Kaia’s head, making the supermodel cover up and go running for the hills. Gerber needs to find the same amount of confidence she’s brought to the runway in order to dominate her competition here, but unfortunately, she doesn’t make it out of first gear in this opening round, allowing Scarlett to run away with points.

ROUND 2:
Scarlett growing in confidence as she keeps up the pace in round two, pushing forward and flicking more jabs towards Kaia’s head and body. Gerber still reeling back from the sheer quantity, but after some pep talk from her corner, starts staking her territory by planting her feet firm on the ground, then dishing out jabs of her own to Scarlett’s face. Leithold grunting, surprised at the sudden pain shooting through her lips, but resolves to punish the privileged supermodel even more, and the result is both girls standing and trading shots in the center of the ring for a good thirty seconds. Mutual squeals and grunts are promising signs that both are taking damage as they stick gloves straight into the face without much regard for skill or technique, but Kaia gets the last laugh when she swings for the fences and catches Leithold on the chin, which snaps her blonde hair up into the air as the uppercut connects! UGHH! Scarlett dazed and reeling, but Kaia only manages to squeeze in a couple more jabs to the face before the bell rings to end the round.

ROUND 3:
More back-and-forth action as Leithold looks for revenge, having shaken off the earlier punishment and now targeting Kaia’s pretty face with jabs. Kaia rocked in the opening seconds after she falls for a left hand feint to the side of the head, Scarlett then stuffing a right hand clean into the brunette’s lips, making Kaia grunt loudly with pain. Kaia covering up and retreating, Scarlett giving chase and peppering her arms with more punches. But the blonde model is stopped in her tracks when a return cross from Gerber goes sailing through the arms and flattens the cheek with an UGHHGH! Scarlett shaking her head with pain, and the two youngsters spend the rest of the round circling and hiding their pretty faces behind locked arms. What started as a mutual dancefest has now turned to both ladies getting used to the throbbing pain, and perhaps even more importantly, relishing the thought the other girl suffering from each punch connecting.

ROUND 4:
Scarlett losing her temper as the bell rings, shouting at Gerber to “BRING IT ON, b*tch!” to which Kaia obliges, flying in and landing shots all over the blonde’s guard, then whacks a right hand into her vulnerable tummy, as Leithold takes her medicine she requested for. Scarlett weathering the abuse well, however, getting pushed back but still successfully protecting her head behind closed arms. Kaia switching up her attack to bigger hooks aimed at the head, but finding some resistance as Scarlett suddenly ducks under a swing, wraps up with her counterpart, arms enveloping Kaia’s chest and effectively immobilising her foe to the spot. Panic in Gerber’s eyes as Scarlett suddenly shoves her off, SWINGS a lightning hook to her face - BLAM!! Final straw for Kaia Gerber’s balance as the lanky model goes tumbling down to her side from that unexpected blow! It’s a KNOCKDOWN for Scarlett Leithold!!

Scarlett immediately elated, leaping up into the air as she bounds back to her corner, already in celebratory mode. But Kaia slowly making her way back up, first pushing her chest off canvas and then trying to test the limits of her youthful body by pushing herself off all fours. Scarlett still looking happy, dominant as she waits and watches from her corner, fully confident with the direction of this fight even when Kaia manages to recover by the count of 8.

ROUND 5:
Scarlett bounding forward with reserve energy, eager to win this fight before the halfway mark, but the first two strikes to Kaia's arms fail to make a dent in her armour, and a subsequent BASH across the face has the young blonde squealing backwards in pain, Kaia working the face with her right hand sailing in over and over again, and Scarlett getting manhandled, her raised arm not enough to block the heavy hooks that Kaia's suddenly throwing at her without pause, like a madwoman awakened. Leithold sent into the ropes and her troubles don't let up there, gets pummeled to the guard and body in alternate fashion, with Kaia crowding in close and swinging lefts and rights. Scarlett groaning as she's stuck on the ropes and stuffed, finally clinching up with her rival and breathing heavily on shoulder. Both girls are still not used to clinching up, so they spend the rest of the round struggling and shoving in each other's arms. A shutout round for Ms Gerber as she roughly shoves Scarlett off her and into the ropes when the bell rings.

ROUND 6:
Scarlett looking drained as she comes out of corner early, all that body-pumping action knocking the wind out of her lungs. Kaia capitalising, scooting forward and resuming the jab-jab-BANG combo directly into the blonde's guard, that last hook succeeding in throwing Scarlett off balance each time it slams into the side of the head. Leithold doing her best to hold off the assault, jabs back into Kaia's face, but they don't seem to halt the newcomer's progress. Another one-two smack into the Leithold’s nostrils has her falling back in a stupor, powerless to stop a final CRACK across the face as Kaia SENDS HER DOWN ONTO HER SIDE!! Scarlett knocked silly as she does a little twirl on unbalanced feet, before falling face-first to canvas! Referee starts the count over the motionless blonde, but it's no use! There’s only signs of heavy breathing, Leithold’s eyes squeezed shut and chest rising and falling. He waves it over!!

Official Decision: Kaia Gerber defeats Scarlett Leithold via KO6!

AFTER:
Kaia celebrating with an arm raised high as she blows kisses to the four corners of the arena, the rest of her youthful energy spilling over in spades. She catches Scarlett, soon recovered and resting against the ropes, giving her a mean, condescending looks, and Kaia simply returns the glare, but otherwise doesn’t see the need to punish the blonde further.

Scarlett still breathing hard as she’s helped off her back, checked over by medics in her corner, her dishevelled blonde hair now covering half her face in shame. These two women were quite evenly matched in the first few rounds, that is until Kaia started throwing some huge bombs that Scarlett had little answer for.

“I hope I’m starting to shut some of these girls up, especially when they keep on saying I don’t have the goods to make it on my own. Scarlett was one of those girls - look what happened to her. I hope she’ll think twice before running her mouth off again,” Kaia says post-fight, frustration flashing in her eyes.
