Taylor Swift vs. Adriana Lima

Adriana Lima: 38 years old, 5’10”, 38-27 since 2005, Odds & Ends Fight Studio

Taylor Swift: 30 years old, 5’11”, 39-16 since 2009, Fates Boxing, FCBA Lightweight Champion

Before:

The final lightweight title match of the decade features two of the biggest names in the FCBA going head to head in what everyone is hoping to be a stellar match to end the 2010s on. The challenger, Adriana Lima, was arguably the top model of the past decade and has tremendous success in the FCBA, to say the least. Meanwhile, her opponent and current lightweight champion, Taylor Swift, was recently named artist of the decade and has been a force to be reckoned with in the FCBA. The two girls have met once before in 2018, with Adriana Lima coming out on top.

The Brazilian model is quick to bring it up to the press before the fight, “In case nobody remembers, I knocked that b*tch out cold last year. Like, not even moving knocked out. And I did the same to her stupid stablemate Emily DiDonato last month.” Adriana pauses, “Now I know Taylor thinks she has the best legs in the league, but the last time she wanted to prove that, she was the one caught between my legs begging for mercy. I’m back to take that title away from her and end her stupid title run. The decade deserves a better ending champion that Swift.”

Swift’s eyes are ablaze as she responds, “Tonight, you’re going to wish you never set foot in the ring with me last year. And I think you forgot that you just lost to Emily two weeks ago. You are the model of the old decade, the one that still claims to be relevant. I’m not only the top artist of the past decade, but I still will be leaving my mark on the next one. And I will be entering that decade as lightweight champion.”

The two women glare at each other until they are escorted away until the fight.

Come time for their fight, the crowd is roaring. One can barely hear Adriana Lima’s introduction as she steps out from the back and removes her robe to reveal a green sports bra and matching trunks with yellow gloves, the Brazilian wearing her national colors for the fight. Once Lima is in the ring, Taylor Swift is introduced over the din of the crowd, and the blonde singer steps out, title around her waist, with a red sports bra and white gloves and trunks. Taylor steps into the ring and takes the title off of her waist and raises it before the final lightweight title match of the decade. The two women glare at each other and refuse to touch gloves before the match, so the official just calls for the bell and we are underway.

Round 1:

The two girls begin the match by circling each other, as while they have faced off before, plenty has changed since that fight. Taylor starts to work her jab early, keeping Adriana on her toes. Lima patiently waiting and counterpunches Swift, hitting her in the ribs, but she underestimates the blonde’s ability to answer back and Taylor responds with a shot to Lima’s ribs followed up by a hammer blow to the head and Adriana backs off, not wanting to let her opponent get too many blows in. The two girls return to circling, both women now trading jabs until Taylor sidesteps a punch from Adriana and goes right to Lima’s body, working her backwards until Adriana finds a window to punch her blonde opponent right back. Taylor repositions herself and she and Adriana circle for a third time this round, with Swift feinting with her left and then connecting with a right that gets through to Lima’s chin. Adriana quickly regains her balance and keeps her guard up as Taylor gets in a few more punches to Lima’s guard and body before the bell rings. Taylor Swift wins the opening round on points, wide.

Round 2:

Taylor and Adriana get out of their corners before the warning bell, itching to get after each other. The two girls charge out of their corners and exchange a flurry of blows in the center of the ring, with both landing a clean shot each to the chin of their opponent before Adriana dodges a Taylor punch by dropping backwards before going right to Taylor’s tummy. Swift’s expression sours from the blow and Lima keeps on going to Swift’s body. The blonde girl snarls and clinches Lima briefly and the two girls work to punch the other girl in the body until Swift lets go and the two girls have some room between them. The champ looks to go back to the challenger’s body and fakes going for her head before throwing a short blow to Lima’s chest, but it’s a small blow in comparison to Lima’s response when she catches Taylor flush in the chest with three fast punches. Swift backs off and Lima chases her around the ring for the final few seconds. The bell rings and the judges determine that Adriana Lima took the round on points, wide.

Round 3:

Taylor and Adriana both take a slower approach out of their corners to start the third round as they begin to settle in. Lima looking to take the initiative early on, feinting with her right and then catching Swift with her left. The Brazilian girl then goes back to the American’s body, hitting her with two fast rights into the ribs. Swift returns fire with a right of her own that gets Lima in the chin before the blonde girl also returns the favor of Adriana’s body blows. Lima takes the hits and pushes towards Swift and the two women collide in the middle of the ring, their bodies pressed together as they try to clinch and hit the other girl’s body. Neither woman is able to gain an obvious advantage over the other before the bell rings, and the two girls tie in the third.

Round 4:

Adriana looks to keep the tempo up as she gets out of her corner while Taylor seems to want it to slow down. Lima subsequently starts off by closing distance and launching off punches while Swift looks to counter. The model’s first blows bounce harmlessly off of the singer’s guard and the latter responds with a left to Lima’s toned body. Adriana takes a half step backwards and Taylor follows up with a right that she lands to her opponent’s shoulder. Lima sets her feet, dodges a Swift left, and then connects with a left of her own to Taylor’s chin. Now it’s Swift who is taking a small step backwards, but unlike Taylor, she buries her follow-up into the singer’s tummy rather than her shoulder, and Swift has to retreat again. Lima chasing Swift around the ring, landing her punches but Swift responds with some clean shots of her own before the end of the round. The judges determine that Lima took the round, close.

Round 5:

Lima once again out of her corner with plenty of energy as she charges Swift and throws a big right connecting with – nothing other than the air as the blonde champ dodges out of the way and delivers a massive hammer blow to Lima. Adriana staggers backwards and on comes Taylor and the champ connects with a big right to Lima’s chin that knocks her backwards and would have knocked her down if it wasn’t for the ropes holding the Brazilian model up. Swift driving leather into Lima’s body as the model is doing everything in her power just to keep her guard up. Swift unloads on the older woman until Lima wraps her arms around the singer’s torso and clinches. The referee breaks the two women apart and when the match resumes, Lima catches Swift by surprise with a quick one-two combo to the chin, but it’s not enough to prevent the blonde from coming right back with two punches to Lima’s midriff that halts any kind of momentum Adriana had before the bell. Taylor Swift smiling as she turns back to her corner after winning the fifth by shutout.

Round 6:

Taylor Swift the one out of her corner quickly to start the sixth and immediately starts jabbing at Adriana Lima, looking to tag the older woman’s head. Swift lands her first two blows and Lima backpedals. Taylor follows her and launches a big right but totally misses Adriana and leaves herself exposed. Lima plants her feet and launches a nasty left hook that catches all of the champ’s jaw and the Brazilian then puts two right straight into Taylor’s face AND KNOCKS THE CHAMP DOWN JUST LIKE THAT! Adriana quickly goes to the corner as the referee starts to count over Taylor. The ref reaches a count of five as Taylor gets her arms underneath her to support her upper body. Taylor gets her knees underneath her and pushes herself up at eight as her upper lip shows a bit of blood. The ref checks in on Taylor and waves Adriana back in, and the fight continues. Lima and Swift mostly playing a cat and mouse game with the older woman chasing her younger opponent around the ring, but the blonde does have a good counterpunch that saves her from taking too much of a beating before the bell. Thanks to her knockdown in the first minute, Adriana Lima wins the round on points, wide.

Round 7:

Adriana comes out of her corner and her purpose is written all over her face – knock Taylor out this round – and wastes no time in launching big punches, shifting her focus between Taylor’s head and her body, keeping the blonde on her toes. Lima fakes a shot to Swift’s body and goes for her head, but Taylor parries the blow and sticks Adriana with a solid right. Lima adjusts her positioning and drives two hard lefts into Swift’s tummy, driving the air out of her lungs and making the singer back up into the ropes where Lima absolutely clocks Swift with a right and the blonde nearly goes down! Taylor recovers her balance but she’s jammed into the ropes and desperately swinging at Adriana and connects with a lucky punch that halts the onslaught just long enough for the blonde to escape and stick Lima with a right on the way out, but despite her best efforts, after the bell, Adriana Lima won the round on points, wide.

Round 8:

The beginning of the eighth round is no different than the seventh – Lima can feel that she has the upper hand and goes straight for Swift’s body, starting with a left feint that Swift falls for and Lima knocks two quick punches into Swift’s face. The blonde girl gets knocked back and there is a bit of blood showing on her upper lip again. Adriana follows her and feints again, this time with her right, before following up with her left but there’s nobody home. Taylor caught on to Adriana’s tricks and connects with a hammer blow that drives Adriana backwards and the champ gets in a quick jab to the model’s chin before Adriana is able to start blocking blows to her head. Swift merely shifts her focus to Lima’s body and drives the older woman into the ropes, plunging leather into flesh until Adriana can clinch and the referee separates the two women. Taylor now firmly in control with thirty seconds to go and she gets a solid string of punches in and Adriana just simply doesn’t have an answer before the bell. Lima proceeds slowly to her corner while Swift has found a new spring in her step as she turns the momentum around and won the eighth on points, wide.

Round 9:

The toll of the previous eight rounds shows itself as it takes Lima and Swift longer to get out of their corners than before. Taylor’s upper lip is a bit puffy from Adriana’s punches, and Adriana’s midriff is red from Taylor’s punches. Taylor confidently strides forwards and jabs out at Adriana. The Brazilian girl blocks the blows, but the American singer quickly shifts to the right and drives a right straight across Lima’s jaw, but the former champ in Lima doesn’t go down. Adriana fires off a counterpunch that gets Swift in her chin, but the blonde girl is unfazed as she finds Lima’s solar plexus with a big right and the Brazilian lets out a gasp of agony. Taylor turns her attention to Adriana’s torso and hammers lefts and rights into the Brazilian’s toned body, Lima shuddering with each impact and her guard starts to split. Swift splits Lima’s gloves with a left that knocks the challenger back and Taylor lines up two quick right straight into Adriana’s jaw AND LIMA GOES CRASHING TO HER SIDE AND ROLLS ONTO HER BELLY! Taylor stands over Adriana for a second before stepping over the Brazilian girl on her way to the corner as the referee starts to count. By the count of five, Lima picks up her head, but she has a blank stare on her face. She attempts to push herself up at seven, but she faceplants right back down on the canvas at eight! The referee reaches ten and calls for the bell and your winner by KO9 AND STILL LIGHTWEIGHT CHAMPION, TAYLOR SWIFT!

After:

Swift raises her arms in victory and grabs the belt before heading over to Lima who is slowly absorbing her surroundings while on the ground. Adriana blinks as she sees the blonde champion towering over her.

“Oh good, you’re back with us.” Taylor coos, “Now, while I would like to return the humiliation you did to me last year of the leg squeeze, I won’t. Champions shouldn’t engage in all-out humiliation their opponents except in extreme circumstances.” A look of relief flashes across Adriana’s face. “But since you did choose to do that last year, you leave me no choice but to do something. Just like you did with me, all you need to do to stop it is to admit my legs are superior to your legs.”

A look of revulsion makes its way onto Lima’s face as Swift plants her foot on Adriana’s chest, making sure to show off her legs to the crowd as she raises the title. Taylor moves her foot around and Adriana squirms, but when the champ looks down, Adriana just stares back, not letting on how much pain she is in. Swift moves her foot to Lima’s solar plexus and when she shifts her weight, the model lets out another shout of agony.

“Just say the words and this all ends, I promise,” Taylor tells Adriana.

Lima’s eyes are tearing up and when Swift lifts her foot up and presses down on the model’s tender body again, and this time, it’s too much for Adriana to bear.

“Your legs are better,” Lima says.

Swift immediately takes her foot off of Lima and smiles, saying, “Now, that wasn’t so hard.”

With that, Taylor leaves the ring and goes to the press.

“Now we’re even.” Swift tells them. “And I know that there are still some who doubt me as a champion, saying I’ve avoided a particular dark haired girl. Well, I want her. Hopefully, Kendall Jenner isn’t busy in January, because there would be no greater way for me to start out the new decade by winning my title defense against someone who has beaten me too many times for my liking.”

Taylor Swift turns away from the press and leaves, closing out the decade as lightweight champion by defeating Adriana Lima.
