Gemma is a former FCBA Welterweight Champion, but the 34 year old Manchester lass has lost 8 of the 9 fights she has had since Hannah Ferguson knocked her out in 9 rounds to lose that title in March 2017, including a brutal 4 round thrashing from Hilary Rhoda, and a bodysaddle humiliation from Kate Upton.

Now she fights 28 year old Damaris, who debuts tonight, and defeat will almost certainly finish big Gemma’s career.

In the ring, Damaris looks impressive in her white leather bikini, with Gemma rather cheap in her red basque and knickers, her large tits bouncing as she prepares for combat, bumping gloves with Damaris, “No offence love, but I have to knock you out!” The young American shakes her head, “Try it, loser!”

Round 1

Both girls are defensive as the fight begins, until Damaris tries her luck, bopping Gemma’s head back with a couple of solid, straight punches, the English girl looking a little surprised that the debutant is taking her on like this, and she has to move sharply to her right when the younger girl comes at her again, eats a sweet hook to her mouth, then strikes back, hitting Damaris to her midriff twice, her gloves bouncing back from the girl’s firm abs and that earns Gemma another swatting punch to her jaw, twisting her to the side, the Brit coming back though, and she gets her jab working a little better, then lets a left uppercut rip, and Damaris is staggered, Gemma closing in immediately, hitting the model’s face left and right, but the girl again surprises the former champion, because she shows that she can take a punch, and return as well, as she gives Gemma a testing right hook to her body, Gemma grinning as she takes it, and she presses Damaris back to the ropes to hit her in the closing seconds, just about taking a lively opening round

Round 2

Gemma nods her acceptance that she’s in a fight here, and she soon finds that out again when Damaris unleashes a right hook and a left cross, Gemma on the back foot for sure, in a neutral corner as the model lays into her with lefts and rights, face first, then body, Gemma trying to punch her way out of trouble, but she’s taking a lot of shots, then gives some back, sending Damaris backwards with a left uppercut, and she regroups, starts to attack, and hits the New Yorker with a sweet right hook, then misses with a left, and takes a couple more good ones, the debutant looking impressive, as Gemma sheds blood from her nose, wipes it with her glove and comes back at Damaris, eyes shining, no longer grinning, as the model stops her short, with a great left and right combination, before Gemma outmuscles her with bodypunching, again on the offensive at the bell in a really tight round of quality punching, both girls taking punishment

Round 3

The girls swap right hooks in the centre of the ring, and Damaris came second in that exchange, the New Yorker taking a step back, Gemma back in her face immediately, hitting her to the body, but then eating leather again, Damaris splitting the Mancunian’s gloves with a solid left, and she dips a little, stepping backwards, Damaris seeing that she’s hurt the former champion, and she hits Gemma again, and she’s trapped her in a corner again, slamming the punches into the Brit’s face, Gemma’s head getting slotted left and right, before Damaris buries a straight left in Gemma’s gut, and the Brit’s struggling now, Damaris pressing her back when she tries to hold, a right hook, then a left, Gemma’s face red with blood from her nose, which Damaris has split across the bridge, Gemma finally managing to clinch, trying to run the clock down, the referee prising her off Damaris, who continues the punishment after the girls are told to box on, and a right hook to Gemma’s jaw is enough to put her on the canvas, the blonde on her feet at 6, and the bell has surely saved her from defeat – for now!

Round 4

And now Damaris is putting on something of a show, whipping punches into Gemma’s face, the blonde seeming to be finding difficulty in seeing them as Damaris left glove in particular is causing big problems, smacking into Gemma’s eye and cheek, her head being constantly sent sideways, her cheek swelling alarmingly, and Damaris hits her to the body again, determined to hurt Gemma as well as beat her tonight, really schooling the former champion, who again finds herself backed up to the ropes, and Damaris works on her some more, hooking her face, left, then right, then the body – she surely can’t take much more, as Damaris beats her up, Gemma bleeding heavily from her split nose and from a cut in her right eyebrow, and all she can do in defence is to clinch every so often, the referee getting fed up with her, and Damaris’ fans shouting, “Go on, honey! Finish her now!” and the New Yorker is certainly trying, banging more punches into Gemma’s face, the Brit bowing her head, so that Damaris’ right hook lands awkwardly on the top of her skull, and she grimaces, and shakes her right hand after that, her fist jarring against Gemma’s head, the round ending with Gemma a mess, but Damaris in pain

Round 5

Damaris is certainly in trouble with her right hand and arm, and the word is that she may have broken something in her fist, which explains why she isn’t on top of Gemma from the bell as she has been before, which is letting the former champion start to look good at last, snapping Damaris’ head back with some crisp jabs, and, as she realsies her opponent has only really got one useful arm, she starts following those jabs in with a variety of hooks and crosses, and pegs the New Yorker in her corner, grinning as she bats the younger girl’s head side to side, sets her up, and goes for the uppercut again, Gemma’s left gloved fist crunching into Damaris’ jaw, the model wobbling but not falling, as she tries to use her damaged hand in defence, Gemma just doing what she has to do to put her girl away, looking frustrated at the debutant’s resilience, but by the time the bell rings, it’s sad to see how badly swollen her face has become from the Brit’s attention

Round 6

The referee has asked Damaris if she wants to quit, but she’s bravely carrying on, even though Gemma’s showing her no mercy, jabs her face again and again, Damaris trying to block the attacks, but the blonde works her backwards and wants her in a neutral corner, hooks her to the body and the face until she gets her there, jabs her again, and again, then gives herself a little more room, opings in yet another uppercut, and this time it’s all too much for Damaris, who slides to the canvas, head lolling to one side as she gets counted out

Result: Gemma Atkinson knocked out Damaris Lewis in round 6.

Gemma goes down as the winner, but until Damaris hurt herself, she looked more like losing, and when she gets to the New Yorker to commiserate and thank her for the fight, Damaris tells her so, and demands, “I want a rematch Gemma! This isn’t over!”
