Before: Bilson/Davidson to be an all-action two-way slugfest. Both vixens love volume, neither likes to retreat--but who’s got the advantage toe-to-toe?

“Definitely me,” says Rachel when asked, “Look at me: I’m just better. Trust me--girls know, when they look around the room, where they belong--and Amy knows she’s not in my league.”

Davidson purses her lips at Rachel’s ‘tude, unimpressed. “Yap, yap, yap--when has Rachel ever backed up her boasts? I’m stronger than Rachel, I’m sturdier and I’ll back her up, I get Rache Bilson on the ropes? You’re going to see a beat down Dani Fishel would be proud of!”

Bilson in tan sheepskin western motif bikini, sheepskin UGG boxing boots and mitts. Amy in green lace push up and panties, tan boxing mukluks with fur-tipped tassels, tan sheepskin mitts.

During R1: They bounce together all jiggling backsides, tossing tassels, soft-soled boots for position as punches are pitched. Bilson much the better at this improvised, helter-skelter swinging--Davidson caught time and again as she’s either loading up or just after she’s thrown--Rachel with a nimble, natural in-out movement as she swings and recovers. Davidson soaking quite a pasting--constantly surprised as Rachel lands robust rights and lefts on the face--sheepskin glove making muffled thumps, bruising redhead’s cheeks without cutting her. Amy staggered on occasion, but sturdy as promised--she’s sponging it well, taking Bilson’s best shots as Rache posts the shutout.

R2: Similar stuff--but Davidson reining in a little--showing better defense and not trying to match Bilson punch for punch. Amy keeping dukes at temples, elbows in--she’s still getting out-worked, but now taking a lot of the shots on her shoulders and guard as opposed to facing into them. Rachel headhunting--looks good, but she’s not landing effectively and down the stretch--Amy able to dip and dig short, busting counters to her foe’s ribcage off the block

R3: Davidson pressing the attack behind a high guard--she’ll block wide Bilson swings, then answer immediately little jamming straight rights to the chest; tapping jabs on the mouth; step-and-fetch hooks in the flank, Bilson on her heels, frowning--punch output dropping as Amy lands some robust rights and lefts to the chest and tummy--girls starting to hunch in together cheek-to-cheek, Amy working well as girls lean in, work on the inside: Davidson keeping everything short and muscular, curling punches up into Bilson’s haughty midsection, punish those O.C. ribs. Rachel backed up, mouth breathing, frowning: no question Amy getting the better of her at the bell.

R4: Bilson can punch to the body, too, and LOOK AT HER GO! Rache snarling, pushing up close, then dropping her right foot back and belting the bejesus out of Amy’s quivering tummy and stocky torso rising rights and lefts. Davidson cramping up, struggling forward, but OH the punishment--Bilson’s arms pumping back and forth--big, rowing swings underneath crippling her foe. Gets worse--Amy blundering forward, almost doubled over: Rachel starts edging in close and working short uppercuts, jerking ‘em close to pick Davidson up tidy. Rachel’s non-stop tattooing of redhead midsection none-too-accurate: rambunctious brunette drifts unintentionally low several times, drawing warnings--Rache touching gloves in apology after each infraction, but not letting up her intensity one bit. Davidson hammered pillar to post, ramshackle legs tottering around the ring and finally, a series if walking Bilson rights and lefts on the chin drive Amy backwards and drops her to the heinie. Davidson up groggy, swaying at the bell: Bilson delighted with her punching as she solves Amy’s high guard D big time in the fourth.

R5: Bilson right back on, attacking Davidson in the BSE corner. Rache leans in heavy, shifts hips back, then swings away underneath--big striking rights and lefts splashing off tummy, ribs, trunks, thighs, A few swinging blows, then Rache crowds in close, tightens up stroke to shrug uppercuts against Amy’s pushed-up rack. Davidson grimacing, but stubborn-she soaks Bilson’s early aggression, then clangs away toe-to-toe in a second minute stalemate, and down the stretch? It’s Amy slugging her sway out of the corner, backing Bilson up with bump n’ punch. Girls breathing hard, nudging each other rude left shoulders, then jamming away snug--good feisty two-way round sees Amy battle Bilson to a hard-fought standstill.

R6: Bilson starting to mouthbreath--good pounding Davidson body work starting to level  the playing field. Rachel in there scrounging, lowering her shoulder, then hup-hup-hupping lets and rights rto tummy, Davidson not as busy, but increasingly the heavier-handed lass, and more apt to lace her shots. Amy working off tuff shoulder bumps, then tucking in thick hooks amidships or spank off the flank,. Another drawn round as power answers volume.

R7: Not much strategy in the corner: Bilson reminded that she’s the classier vixen in the field; BSE corner pumping Davidson up, challenging her to rally, more scrounging, clawing, frenetic hup-hup from Bilson; more trudging, well-placed, thumping rights and lefts out of a slugger’s crouch, Davidson.

R8: Davidson’s bludgeoning attack finally backs Rachel to ropes: Bilson hard-pressed, mounting in disbelief as Amy rampages to gut and rib, both dukes, Amy crowding in, leaning her chin out over either Bilson shoulder, then pumping hard underneath: Davidson on autopilot, just moving her mitts, thumping away on all thing Rachel. Bilson shuddering, crossing her arms against her body, making occasional efforts to push Amy off: Davidson dug in there strong, hammers out a tuff toe-to-toe 8th.

R9: Bilson weight on right foot, walking-over-eager Amy into clipping right uppercuts: Davidson picked up, rejected and Bilson surges over to offense. Rachel butting Amy as she leans in, pulling fists in wide swaths into Amy’s quivering tum: Davidson staggering back, wincing--she hits ropes in disarray. Bilson hup-hup-hupping to jug, little shoulder rotating, fists chugging away: poor Amy slumps to s seat in the ropes, watery-eyed with dismay. More uppercuts: Amy’s head bobbing as her defensive form breaks down--BSE corner on its collective feet, screaming for Davidson to get her back off the ropes. Sturdy redhead legs hold Amy D up: Bilson still helping herself after the bell has to e tugged back by the ref.

R10: Rachel scoring with wide right hands to cheek; right uppercuts to chin; left hooks to jaw--little Amy facing into punches, staggering sideways under pint-sized punishment. Big, splashy right hands smash off Amy’s ace, driving her to ropes--Rachel ploughing hard with her noggin again, butting Davidson viciously while leaning to pull hard punches in underneath. Ref barking warnings to Bilson to “Watch yer head”--but Amy’s stunned and Rachel’s piling on! Aggressive tummy-chug has Davidson leaning forward hurt and RACHEL SWABS KIDNEY! Sweeping, lusty lefts and rights clanging away side to side--Rachel landing with the cruel sides of her fists draws even more warnings as poor Amy buckles to her knees. “STAY DOWN!” Rachel shouts as she’s tugged away by her elbow: Davidson struggling up plucky, taking deep breathes through her nose--she bats her gloves together as ref barks 8. OH THE SLUGGING! Bilson ringing Amy up sweeping overhand right, but Amy bouncing hurt off the ropes answers back short hooks and blunt crosses, Rachel backed up toe midring, eating short, drifting right hands as Amy steps and fetches ‘em to Rachel’s mouth, Bilson hits ropes groggy at the bell, hands down, staring into abuse--Amy just about to pile on when ref pulls her back and this shindig goes to the cards. Comes back UD narrow--Rachel Bilson.

After: Ref lifts Rachel’s hand--she bunches up taut with tension release, bellowing “YEAH!” at the top of her lungs--little fists clutched tight to her chest. Poor Amy Davidson brawls her heart out tonight, blinking back tears of disappointment: she knows she gave Rachel all she wanted tonight. Bilson pumped, steps to Amy and shouts “YOU SUCK!” into Davidson’s startled face--Amy immediately pushes Rache in the shoulders and they’re in each other’s hair before the ref knows what’s happening! Mayhem ensues as little scrappers are disentangled--Bilson screaming epithets--Davidson just trying to compose herself, show a little dignity in defeat.
