BEFORE: "Super impressive," Beth sums up Nina's performance against Lohan in the first of the triangle battles between the three. "She brawled with Lilo, got hurt, pulled herself together...then she set Lindsay up and took her out old-school. It was sweet...but I didn't see a lot of boxing...I think Nina got caught up in being a lanky-chesty banger like Lindsay is and just happened to get Lohan out of there. Trouble for her is, I'm not going to stand and trade with her. We'll see if Dobrev can adjust, because I'm bringing a whole different look to this dance." Nina riding high: her second demolition of vaunted Lindsay has Neens on the fast-track to title town. "As far as I'm concerned, Beth is a reward - not a fight," Nina grins in prefight. "She's what I get for handling Lindsay's business - a chance to showcase and really set myself up to do some great things this summer. Sucks to be Beth, but oh well: somebody's gotta get smoked so somebody else can look pretty!" Nina in her two-toned blue battle bikini - hair loose - small white gloves. Beth in leopard print padded bra; black felt cheerleader spanky bottoms; small black gloves; ponytail as per Miami Medical - single-coil ringlets curling about either cheek/temple. Lohan to referee - blonde hair loose; polo-collar referre black/white striped tee shirt (short sleeves) snug black cheerleader spanky bottoms; black shoes/white socks rolled down.

During R1: Beth playing jab-and-begone - poking Nina to breadbasket or mouth, then pivoting clockwise around left heel. Pressure from Dobrev is faded by Beth: Harnois trading canvas for time - circling round - twisting her jab into Nina's rack to re-assert herself. Nina seldom jabbing...she's looking to step to position and slug: Beth disallowing these terms with simple footwork for a classy blonde shutout first.

R2: Nina gets it - makes her adjustments - jabbing-with and driving Beth before her. Dobs walking Harnois down - cheek-high right hand picking off Beth's jabs as brunette cuts off ring. Middle minute sees Dobrev land first wide, rangy hooks: Beth pulling out and circling, knowing that Neens loves a right hand in behind that hook. Patient stalking from Nina; sporadic flurries from retreating Beth...Dobrev the aggressor takes the points. Lohan exceeding her authority throughout by telling Beth "Ya gotta fight, B...show me something here...etc."

R3: Nina stays with the program, but ups tempo - getting on top of Beth quicker, going to the hook earlier off that stiff jab. Harnois camping out behind raised mitts: Neens taking the opportunity to tuck succulent palm-down hooks into Beth's right armpit or dig 'em deep behind right elbow. Midway through - body shots shake Beth up: she's grumpy, backing away in grimace...Nina steps-with, feeds her blonde a driving right up the middle to pound Beth's head back. Harnois hits ropes stricken, forming wobbly-butt earmuff: Nina steps-to, punishing the Harnois ribcage rich, batting right/lefts. Final minute, Beth folding forward behind her mitts, butt-on-ropes. Nina all patient/strong on Beth - reaching the left hand out past Beth's right arm, the left shoulder bumping on Beth's skull while that right hand looks to tuck in thick amidships, or curl tight uppercuts in close. Slender limbed Nina proving effective/supple at close quarters - gives Beth a true beating through 3. Lohan roughly tackling Nina off at the bell, leads to harsh words and some chesticuffs as ref bumps on fighter during break.

R4: Beth spooked - expressive eyes showing her pain...she's loping the perimeter, ducking down to cover up for beatings on her flanks, then clinching for ref's (very rough) breaks. Nina in tight-lipped little frown - walking Beth down, punishing her. Brunette issuing slender-limbed wallopings all along the ropes - happy to batter Beth's ribs as blonde moves her head/keeps her chin safe. Dob controlling Beth's position with the extended left - the left shoulder bumping on Beth's head or chest, setting up digging rights in under the jugline/wide rights behind left elbow/curling right uppercuts to overhanging face. Beth survives, but she's lumping nicely through 4.

R5: Beth breaking down, giving forlorn looks: Nina lured forward by the prospect of easy pickings. Minute mark - Nina slopping haymakers wide to Beth's head: nimble blonde slipping under them, issuing payback hooks and crosses: NINA GETS ROCKED! Dobrev munching on compact hook as she's prepping a wide right: her knees give way as she stumbles face-first into ropes, changing positions with Beth. Harnois wide eyed: she leans in, kisses Dobs a chopping right hand as Nina's turning her back to ropes: brunette blind-sided, drapes into ropes, hands loose, eyelashes fluttering. Beth whirling in punches - left hand coming across so left forearm can brace Nina's chest; right hand crashing onto dazed brunette face as Nina's head lolls. Dobrev helpless, staring - arms reaching to clinch but she's too weak...Beth pouring it on - pushing and punching on Nina, just keeping the leather pasting and THE REF STEPS IN! TKO5 in shoeshining fashion - Beth Freaking Harnois!

After: Dobrev stunned, astonished, all swaying and devastated as Beth leaps away squealing. Lohan non-plussed - all pursed lips and "whatever" expression as bubbling Beth gets to postfight. "Umm...I don't even know what to say," Harnois stammers at the start. "Stopping Nina Dobrev is like a dream come true, and puts me in position to sweep her AND Lindsay out of the ring. I know a lot of people thought I was just put in with these two to be a showcase for them, but I'm proving this year that good things come to those who work hard. Lilo's going to be tough - she's been really wild and unpredictable this year, so you never know what to expect. But if I can box her, keep her guessing, and find her chin, I know now that I can be successful!"
