Results: Lookout Writing: Archer

Ariel: 22 YO, 5’1 (1.55 m), 22-7-0, 22 KO since 2016, Front Street Stable

Before: “I think Hayden is running out of steam. She can’t seem to put consistent winning fights together anymore. When it comes to Petite Flyweights she’s had her run, but now I’m here to show the best and the tuffest small fighter around!” Ariel Winter boldly declares in the pre-fight.

“I am not impressed with Ariel,” Hayden retorts. “She’s got that flashy record, but too many of them are wins over nobodies or semi-retired fighters like Sarah Shahi. Now she’s fighting me: someone with talent, class and a determination to put a stop to all the talk about me being ‘inconsistent’. It’s about time some taught her lesson.”

“Sorry, Hayd, but the lesson is going to be you learning your past your prime and I’m the rising star!” Ariel retorted.

“You will be the falling star when I get through with you!!” Hayden snapped, but Ariel just smirked at her unintimidated.

Fight Night finds Hayden entering the ring in a red bikini with white gloves and boots (red laces). Her blonde hair is short and wetted down. Ariel in a white bikini with black gloves and boots (white laces). Ariel’s Dark hair is pulled back into a battle braid down her back. Ariel smirking at a scowling Hayden, though the referee does manage to keep order and get the fighters properly instructed before they are sent their respective corners. There is that agonizing wait and then the bell rings…

R1: Hayden wastes little time in jabbing into Ariel’s jutting rack with straight rights and lefts then adding some wicked uppercuts to the underside of those bikini top cups. Ariel not appreciating the early jugg mugging, but goes for Hayden’s jaw with her counters. Hayden ducks away, then swings and catches Ariel under the chin. Ariel’s legs give a shiver and she falling back in some disorder. Now Hayden striking at Ariel’s head, but Ariel blocks most of these and Hayden then goes with hooks to Ariel’s belly. Hayden getting Ariel tipped forward and she can now bring hooks up to those big overhanging melons. Ariel pulling away quickly and Hayden has trouble catching up. Ariel gets her jab going and gives Hayden’s modest rack some vengeful leather. Then time runs out. Hayden wins the round wide.

R2: Ariel not going to let Hayden’s rack attack go unanswered: as soon as the bell sounds she’s out of her corner and giving Hayden’s breasts an all-pounding. Hayden knocked back the sheer ferocity of this attack, but rallies to stun Ariel with hard right/left to the chin. Hayden moves in to attack Ariel to the belly. Ariel digs in and answers with body punching of her own. The two li’l sluggers go at with their elbows churning in and out. Punches slamming in to juggs, bellies and ribs at a rapid clip and Hayden starts to wilt! Hayden is slowly giving ground as Ariel pounds her back with grim determination. Hayden retreating stubbornly, but Ariel is advancing at the bell. Close round, but judges give it to Ariel Winter.

R3: New round begins with Hayden and Ariel out quickly and exchanging long-distance body blows. Hayden then comes in fast, swinging for Ariel’s chin, but Ariel moves fast in response and plants a right to Hayd’s chin. Hayd sent stumbling back in obvious disarray. Ariel now follows up with more punches to the face that turn her face red and swollen before she can get her mitts up to cover. Ariel now banging Hayden with hooks to the belly and Hayden is sent shuffling back, hunched over and trying to stop the rout. Ariel relentless as she drives Hayden into the ropes. Hayden huddled there, face in gloves, butt on the ropes as Ariel pounds away at her to the body. Hayden hanging in there. Legs sturdy, but she takes a lot of leather to the bell. Round to Ariel Winter wide.

R4: Foxfire corner works on Hayden all during the break and she comes out moving with surprising speed considering the beating she took last round. Ariel Winter comes charging in, but is greeted by an intense Hayden Panettiere defensive jab that smashes her to the face and brings her advance to a screeching halt. Ariel now worked hard to the chin as her high guard seems weak and Hayden is pushing her gloves between Ariel’s mitts to score. Ariel struggling to pull her defenses together, but then Hayden stuffs a right hook into Ariel’s gut to jerk her forward and then a right/left uppercut combo catch her to the chin. DOWN GOES ARIEL! Brunette takes a step after the combo and then just crashes forward as Hayden deftly step aside. Off to the neutral corner goes Hayden. Referee in to count and Ariel is struggling to rise. It is a struggle nut Ariel gets back to her feet at “NINE!” Fight resumes, but the shaken Ariel just covers up and lets Hayden pound away at her perimeter. Ariel in this tight defensive to the bell. Hayden wins the round wide and records the first knockdown of the fight.

R5: Ariel on the one getting intensive work from her corner at the break, she looks a bit slow as she comes out at the bell. Hayden moves at her the battered brunette with confidence and starts working her to the body. Steady barrage of hooks to stomach and ribs with the occasional foray up into the juggs. Ariel showing the jab, but it isn’t effective as Hayden dances around her while keeping up a steady drumbeat of body punches. Soon Ariel is hunched up and Hayden is adding some shots to the head to keep the brunette ducking. Ariel keeps using the jab and does start to score with more shots to the body to make Hayden wary late, but mostly this round is Hayden Panettiere on the attack and she comes away winning the round wide.

R6: Hayden ready to pick up where she left off, but now Ariel seems to have used the previous round to rest. She comes out much more aggressive this round as she jabs with Hayden and stalls the blonde’s initial offensive. Hayden quickly resumes her attack. Hayden and Ariel during head shots that seem to rattle both. However Hayden shakes it off first and goes back at Ariel to the body. Ariel takes up the challenge and they quickly in the trenches fighting a battle of attrition as abs, ribs and breasts get pounded over and over. Hayden pushing hard to get max power into her punches and these begin to push Ariel back. Ariel fighting every step of the way, then Hayden sneaks in a surprise right uppie to the chin. Ariel socked hard and falls back rapidly. Hayden eagerly pursues, but Ariel seems to shake it off and digs in again behind her jab to finish out the round. However the judges give the round to Hayden by a narrow edge.

R7: Ariel Winter comes out fast and hitting hard this round and she seems to catch Hayden Panettiere by surprise. Hayden gets her head swiveled by right/left jabs and then a meaty uppercut to the chin. Suddenly Hayden is floundering back on her heels and Ariel is all over her with a barrage of hunches high and low. Hayden finds herself driven into the ropes and it’s all she can do to go face in gloves as Ariel works her over. Ariel quite methodical as she shells Hayden from breasts and belly and back again. Hayden writhing under the attack and her legs are shaking, but they don’t give way. Bell sounds and Ariel steps back as a bleary-eyes Hayden peels herself from the ropes and walks unsteadily back to her corner. Round won wide by Ariel Winter

R8: Foxfire corner crew working hard to get Hayden ready, but she looks sluggish coming out for the new round. Ariel approaches warily and sends out some quick shots to the head. Hayden slow to react. Ariel then goes after Hayden to the body doubling her up with hooks to the stomach an ribcage. Hayden struggling to keep away from the ropes and suddenly Ariel sees a chance and fires in a shot that catches Hayden on the side of the head. Hayden freezes and Ariel fires in another right—this one to the jaw. HAYDEN CORKSCREWS TO THE CANVAS! Hayden in a heap near the ropes. Ariel to the neutral corner. As the referee moves in. Hayden stirring, pushing herself up from the canvas, she steadies herself and the rises to beat the count at “NINE!” Referee gives the woozy-looking Hayden a quick look and then waves Ariel back in. (This draws boos from crowd who think Hayden’s had enough, though Hayden seems more than willing to continue). Ariel moves in quickly. Hayden trying to use the jab to hold her off, but Ariel bobbing and weaving. Hayden looks muddled and suddenly Ariel is driving her along the ropes, she’s broken through Hayden’s defenses. Hayden have her head knocked to and fro and she’s not answering back. Ringsiders are screaming at the ref AND FINALLY HE JUMPS IN! THE WINNER ARIEL WINTER DEFEATS HAYDEN PANETTIERE TKO8!

After: “It was just like I said,” Ariel Winter tells press after the fight, “Hayden is a back number now and I’m the rising star. Sure she can still get in a lucky punch like that R4 knockdown, but I came back from it. I just wore her down and finished her off. Personally, I think the ref should have stopped it after that knockdown in the last round, but since Hayden insisted on fighting it was my job to finish her off. Oh, and she’s lucky I felt sorry for her after it was over. I didn’t much appreciate her punching my ‘girls’ and I would have smothered her out if I didn’t think a little mercy was in order once I’d beaten her to a pulp.”

Says Hayden: “I guess she’s got a right to crow since she did win, but I’m not about to admit she’s all THAT better than me. I gave her a rough time and with a little more effort I could have ended it all in the 4th. But she won and that’s that. I’m remembering it, but I am moving on. I got plenty more fights to come this year.”
One has to say this a good win for Ariel Winter. Some may have wondered about her since so many of her victories have been in the friendly home turf of the Asylum Arena. This fight proves she is for real as flyweight contender. Meanwhile, Hayden Panettiere showed plenty of fight, but it wasn’t enough to allow her to win the fight and that’s what matters in the FCBA. Hayden clearly needs a string of good wins, but can she achieve them or will critics’ doubts grow. Should be a crucial year ahead for Hayden and her fans hope she can right the ship soon
