SHLEY BENSON VS KIERNAN SHIPKA

Results: Lookout Writing: Archer

Ashley: 32 YO, 5’4 (1.62 m), 24-37-0., 24 KO since 2011, Pretty Little Punchers

Kiernan: 22 YO, 5’2 (1.57 m). 4-5-0. 4 KO since 2019, Unmanaged (Ex-Free Punchers)

Before: “I admit this is a difficult time for me. My management shut down our Free Punchers stable and now I am an unmanaged free agent. It has been distracting,” Kiernan Shipka admits to press, “but This fight is a good way for me to show what I can do. Ashley Benson may not be the highest ranked flyweight out there, but she’s a 10 year plus veteran with name value. Beating her will show how good I am.”

Ashley Benson seems annoyed: “It was nice of Kiernan to point out I’m ‘not the highest ranked flyweight out there.’ I know my record is 24-37, but I am still dangerous fighter. I am always capable to winning even if that doesn’t happen. You can’t be sure about me. I am here to win this fight and if Kiernan wants to prove how she good she is—she better find somebody else, because she wont look so good fighting me!”

“I didn’t mean for you to take it so personally,” Kiernan says, “I was just stating facts.”

“So was I,” growls Ashley, “and my facts are going to beat the snot out of your facts!”

Kiernan seems to riled up Ashley with her remarks and Ashley is still steamed as she stands across from Kiernan looking daggers at the smaller, younger woman. Kiernan in a white one piece swimsuit, light blue hatching and tiny red floral print. Black gloves and boots with white laces. Ashley in hot red one piece swimsuit with white gloves and boots (red laces). Kiernan’s bobbed hair wetted down. Ashley’s hair pulled back into a ponytail. Referee keeps things under control long enough to get through ring instructions, but the glove “tap” features Ashley slamming her gloves into Kiernan’s so hard, the younger woman is knocked back a step or two. Ashley then stalks to her corner as Kiernan shrugs and goes to her corner. Soon after the bell rings…

R1: Ashley strikes at Kiernan with straight rights and lefts to carve up her face. Kiernan recoils a step, but she fires right back into Ashley’s face. Both of them are getting faces shiny from hurt, but both still punching away. Then Ashley drops down to work Kiernan’s midsection with whomping hooks that tip KS forward. However Kiernan then socks AB to the chin sending her back a few steps. Ashley plunges back in and this time pounds Kiernan hard in the ribs. KS being knocked back, though she keeps punching back stubbornly, but it is not stopping Ashley’s slow grinding progress. Bell sounds. It was close, but judges give the edge to Ashley Benson for this round.

R2: Kiernan Shipka fights back. She charges into Ashley and starts hammering at her to the body. Ashley responds in kind and soon both fighters’ elbows are moving in and out like piston rod. Pounding attack on stomach, rib cage and breasts goes on and on. Kiernan really puring it on in the final minute and she is rewarded as AB starts falling back. Kiernan adds a finally touch with a surprise smack off Ashley’s chin just before the bell. Ashley looks wobbly getting back to her corner. However the round was again close, but this time it is Kiernan Shipka who edges out a win.

R3: Ashley and Kiernan showing much more movement this round. They are circling each other in the center of the ring, then darting forward for quick punching exchanges. This goes back and forth. Action primarily to the body with ,abs and ribs getting much of the attention. However this back and forth rhythm seems to lull young Kiernan and the veteran Ashley sees her chance. Ashley makes yet another move forward and seems to be aiming at Kiernan’s body but then an overhand right passes over a too low high guard and SMASH into Kiernan’s nose. Kiernan shudders as the pain shoots through her body and the blood starts to flow. Worse, Kiernan’s guard drops still further and BOOM! BOOM! Ashley Benson brings HSAMMERING right/left to Kiernan Shipka’s chin. Kiernan seems to freeze in place and then as Ashley is cranking up another right DOWN GOES KIERNAN. Kiernan topples forward onto her side and rolls to her back. One arm limply across her bleeding face, the other at her side, Kiernan looks out cold! Ashley departs for the neutral corner. She looks back as the referee counts. Kiernan stirring, rolling to one side with and struggles to rise, but her strength seems gone. She is propped up on one arm as she hears the referee crying:

“…NINE!....TEN!...YOU’RE OUT!”

THE WINNER ASHLEY BENSON DEFEATS KIERNAN SHIPKA KO3.

Before: Humiliating early round KO only gets worse for Kiernan Shipka as Ashley is soon dragging her around the ring on a Walk of Shame. Nightmare for the young fighter, but Ashley is grinning and waving to the fans.

“It’s been too long since I had a fun Walk like that one,” Ashley says later. “The kid is not bad really, but I suckered her in the 3rd and out her down. Great night for me. Bad one for her. Sdell, that’s what happens when you mess with Benson!”

Kiernan Shipka doesn’t have much to say “It all went bad for me. I don’t know what to do next. I’ll come out of this, but right now I am just really confused.”
Sad fight for young Kiernan, she did show some promise as she tried to hang with veteran Ashley Benson. She managed to make the first two rounds close, even winning the second, but then the wily veteran lulled her into carelessness and the rough fell in. No wonder Kiernan’s been let wondering what happens next. Her fans hope she’ll be able to figure of course of future action soon an get back on track Meanwhile, Ashley Benson can enjoy a much needed win and wonder who might come calling on her next
