LUCY HALE VS CIERRA RAMIREZ

Results: Lookout Writing: Archer

Lucy: 32 YO. 5’2 (1.57 m), 36-38-0, 35 KO since 2011, Pretty Little Punchers

Cierra: 28 Y), 5’1 (1.55 m),10-10-0, 10 KO since 2020, Latina Knockouts

Before: “This should be an interesting fight,” says Lucy Hale, “it’s not often that I’m the taller woman in a fight. Not to mention squeezing me in between fights with Cree Cicchino.”

“Oh, you noticed,” Cierra says, “of course you lost your only fight with her and I’ve managed to beat her twice.”:

“And you lost twice,” Lucy points out. “At least you and I will be starting fresh.”

“Yes we will and I want to get things off to a good start by putting you down,” Cierra said. “That’s pretty much my game plan. I like to keep things simple.”

“Yes, no sense messing up your brain with plans you’ll never get a chance to carry out,” Lucy replies.

“It will certainly be a pleasure knocking some that arrogance out of you,” Cierra said.

“It’s not arrogance it is just a clear understanding that I am going to beat you,” Lucy said.

“It won’t be so clear when I am done with you,” Cierra declared.

“Bring it on, I’ll be ready and have you kissing the canvas before it’s over,” Lucy fired back.

The hot feelings between the two flyweights is still running strongly as Cierra and Lucy enter the ring on Fight Night. Cierra removes her robe to reveal a sky blue bikini with black gloves ad boots (blue laces), Hair a in pigtail. Lucy in leopard print bikini with yellow gloves and boots (black laces. Bobbed hair loose, but wetted down. Tense meeting wth the referee with hip checking and chest pushing until referee wags a stern finger at both to restore order. The ring instructions are finished. And is followed by a sharp, angry “tap” of the gloves and then the fightyers head for their corners. Both looking impatient until finally the bell rings and they launch themselves from their corners…

R1: Free swinging action early as Cierra and Lucy go head hunting. However, Lucy is able to dodge most of Cierra’s incoming, but Cierra banged up steadily. Lucy also circling and counter circling and it’s keeping Cierra off balance. Lucy then able to score very nicely to Cierra’s jaw and chin. Cierra getting out some counters, but can’t seem to get in clear shots against the slippery Puncher. Round ends with Cierra looked frustrated and Lucy looking rather pleased with herself.

R2: Cierra tryi a new tactic to begin this round. She closes in fast on Lucy before she start dodge and BANGS her hard to the chin. Lucy staggering from the chin and shot Cierra quick to pour on the hurt as she punches Lucy’s face right/left/left/right and bangs her chin. Lucy getting her mitts up hard around her face as now Cierra can feast on Lucy’s rib cage and ab. Lucy bent forward at the waist from Cierra’s pounding hooks, she is trying to get out of range, but Cierra not having it. Lucy trying to jab Cierra back, but Cierra seems fired up and ignores the jabs to keep punching away at Lucy. Lucy finally just pulling away and putting some distance between herself and Cierra as the round ends. Cierra has won the round wide,

R3: Lucy and Cierra both out quickly fir this round, but this time out is Lucy striking first and with power. Cierra hook deep to the belly and is tipped forward at the waist. Lucy then brings crackling punches up into Cierra chin and face. Cierra legs begin to shake and Lucy blasts a volley uppercuts into Cierra;’s chin. DOWN GOES CIERRA! Cierra lands on her back and looks up dizzily as Lucy surveys the sight for a moment, then heads for the neutral corner. Referee starts counting pushes up and makes a shaky rise to break the count at “NINE!” Fight resumes by Cierra showing no taste for rash action. She covers up and makes sure Lucy gets no chance to finish the job in this round. Lucy Hale wins round wide.

R4 LKO corner crew working hard on Cierra during the break and she moves away from her stool at the bell very nicely., Lucy coming in fast and again going for Cierra’s head, but Cierra moving even faster. She dodges Lucy’s right hand and brings her own right hard into Lucy’s right eye. Pain explodes as the blow to her eye socket scores a direct hit. Lucy stumbling back in confusion. Cierra now pounding Lucy to the sides of the head to keep her dazed. Lucy trying to kee her gloves up to protect her but Cierra able to drive her right between the mitts and connect with Lucy’s jaw. Lucy’s head swievls and then Cierra’s left smashes home to swivel her head the opposite way. Then another shot off the chin AND LUCY SAGS TO KNEES,TO HER SIDES AS SHE PITCHED FORWARD ONTO HER FACE. Cierra looks down at her fallen opponent and smiles. Then it is off to the neutral corner. Referee starts counting. Lucy raising her head and looking blankly around, then slumps back just as the referee is calling;

“NINE!...TEN!...YOU’RE OUT!!

THE WINNER CIERRA RAMIREZ DEFEATS LUCY HALE KO4!

After: Cierra gleefully happy as she watches Lucy Hale heloed back to her stool and give a dose of smelling salts. Lucy checked out and the now gloveless Cerra hurries over to claim her prize.

“On your feet! I knew I would make you kiss the canvas and you did!” Cierra gloats.

“Enjoy this while you can. I nearly got you and next time I will!” Lucy says and adds with slight smile. “That canvas is a lousy kisser.”

Cierra laughs: “I’ll take my chances, Come along. I want to show you off to my public.”

Cierra has a grand time escorting Lucy around the ring. Posing for photos. Admiring that rapidly swelling area around Lucy’s right eye that will surely be a world class shiner by morning. Lucy resigned to her fate, but as they complete the circuit she snaps:: “You think you got a rival in Cree Cicchino? Well, you got a bigger one in me now! I promise you that!”

“Hey, the more archrivals I got the better, but you got a long ways to go before you’re up to Cree’s level,” Cierra responds.

“I will be, I promise you,” Lucy says with a huff and turns away.

Very fun contest as two fiery flyweights went at it. Battle only lasted 4 rounds, but there was plenty of action while it lasted. Cierra Ramirez showed she can come off the canvas and snatch victory away from a seasoned veteran like Lucy Hale. Lucy’s got to feel frustrated at coming close to win only to have it quickly turn against her. Don’t know if this is really the start of a long running rivalry but it does have the makings of a good one. Time will just have to tell.
