R1: Fighters close, trading at arms-length, Jessica eye-catching in her movements, efficient, no nonsense, right hand almost cupping her temple, left at her chin, elbows in as she steps forward. Jab sometimes pawing, sometimes stabbing, but constantly featured—not as dramatic or elegant as Olivia’s but disruptive in its own right. Lowndes slanting the right hand down into Holt’s body or leaning in to jam it short to jaw—she buzzes blonde legs late with tangy right-left off the jaw, pulling even on the cards.

R2: Girls settling in—Jessica walking Olivia down behind that high guard, questioning blonde’s body with determined pressure. Holt showing a variety of jab looks, sliding her front foot as she pivots, seeking angles and trying to create distance. Final minute—Lowndes ducks forward and pings a chopping right hand off Olivia’s chin, shanks give a shimmy, she clatters straight back and takes a forget-me-not hook on the teeth as brunette hops in. Jessica brawny at the ropes, body-bumping Holt upright and going right at her—girls laying in all sweaty-tousle, arms crossed against bodies, lead shoulders rubbing short, digging punches work at tanned, toned torsos, Jessica pounding away on Olivia’s lithe frame, leaves the blonde hollow-eyed, open mouthed at the end.

R3: Jessica’s been walking through Olivia’s power all night: not this round. Holt’s first minute: gets the right cross, lathers a stinging hook across the waist, doubles it up to pull hook across face while closing up her stance, Lowndes’ sailing receipt waves over the top, Midway through, Holt working out of that cute torso roll, backing Jessica up—she’s digging in right hands to the belly, rolling over the top to pull hooks across the teeth, bending back to the left to wallop right hands upside the head. Lowndes beaten into stupor, staggering into the ropes, curvy legs holding her up, but pretty face lumping up nicely. She covers up numb as Holt has her way down the stretch—blonde palming her shoulders, leaning to either side to lick at the flanks, curling tight uppies to pick up Jessica’s woozy face. Lowndes out on her feet at the bell, badly shellacked—Holt smiling confidently en route to her corner.

R4: OH THEY BANG AWAY! Girls fighting toe to toe, either legs aren’t there to move, or they’re consumed with battle lust. They lick and tug at each other short punches—hips and waists cudgeled, ears and jaws swiped. Olivia getting downright insistent about putting hook to Jessica’s jugs, blonde cute off the ropes, legs wide—she’ll slice a hook and roll over to the right side nice and compact—always moving her head, closing up her shoulders. Good thudding pace, girls lavishing each other with hamhanded leverage, but this is Holt’s round, Lowndes steadily beaten around the ring.

R5: Jessica stepping-to and going at Olivia with power punches. Lowndes methodical to the body, strapping the waist with licking rights and lefts, lathering away with hooks up Holt’s right side, pounding away to head with crosses and hooks. Olivia beaten sideways, taking little steps in retreat—it’s just relentless, insistent lashing and strong blonde legs finally give way, Holt taking a pasting at the ropes turn to her right and drops to all fours, Lowndes lifts her mitts and struts, Claudia clapping, whistling loudly—BUT OLIVIA BEATS THE COUNT! Holt shiny with abuse, but defiant, she takes her 8, sits in the ropes and waves Jessica in—ON COMES LOWNDES! Jessica outraged at the insolence, unleashes a TORRENT of sweeping, swinging lefts and rights, Olivia shuddering as fists bash off her flanks or rake her tummy, but she’s bobbing, moving her head, keeping herself together at the bell. Lowndes flushed, breathing hard—battered Holt SHOVES the dark haired beauty in a show of bravado, prompting referee intervention.

R6: Both fighters panting, looking hurt, Olivia sags to the ropes, Jessica ramps up the energy for a final push. Lowndes pawing the right to cock her hook, then cranking lefty - pelting away at the dregs as Holt covers and rolls back-on-ropes. Girls trade stubby rights on the mouth, hooks on the chin and JESSICA GOES DOWN! Olivia SO deadly countering off the ropes, drops Lowndes with a crisp, savage clout and she is HURRRRT! Lowndes bending at the waist, then leaning back into the ropes to slip the incoming, but a minute-fifteen in, Holt's able to ram the right hand past the guard to stun her to the chin. Hooks from Olivia taking Jessica in the chest and face as she wobbles a quarter turn to her right - smashing right in the back of the neck, more short, clubbing hooks in the chest AND THE REF STEPS IN! After: Ramirez, Watson, McNamara, Becky G, Cameron and now Lowndes, the O&E claim to the best One-Two punch at flyweight is on full display this year as they both look poised for another shot at the belts!
