Before: Hyatt and Tweed look to settle long standing grievances, both confident of stopping the other inside the distance. Of the two, Tweed has the known pedigree, former Chicago Playboy Mansion champ and a history of bruising brawls throughout the 80s. Hyatt an unknown quantity, but reportedly very impressive in training for this collision. Tweed in pink floral print stretch shorts mid thigh, blue sports bra, Hyatt in white sports bra, black pleated skirt.

R1: Tough woman brawl erupts mid ring as both women elect to slug it up early. Tweed can box, but she likes her size advantage and goes to town, clearly the harder hitter as the two trade haymakers. Back and forth action with Hyatt showing sneaky-quick handspeed, often outraging Tweed with crisp two and three punch combinations to the face that don't seem to hurt the big woman. Tweed throwing less leather, but often moving Hyatt off stride upon impact - trying to get a ponderous left uppercut, chopping right hand together. Wild round, both women narrowly escaping disaster, but down the stretch, Hyatt begins to weave back and forth with Shannon's right hand, countering sharply to bang away at the face at the bell. Points to Hyatt, as the ref separates the women after the bell.

R2: Hyatt's corner cautioning her to pace herself- but once again the women meet at center ring and begin disastrous exchanges. Hyatt wobbled early from a glancing Tweed right hand across the forehead, but Missy keeps it together. Hyatt begins to dip down underneath Shannon's blockbuster blows, then pops up with quick left hook or chopping right hand to the face. Shannon begins to falter - not connecting and paying dearly for every miss. Suddenly, Missy comes out of her crouch, putting a sharp left hook onto Tweed's mouth, and Shannon goes wobbly butt for just a second. Tweed's legs shot, she pushes out sweeping arm punches as Missy cruelly bobs and counters, now banging back Shannon's face with every blow. And Shannon nearly goes down, straightening and reeling back to the ropes - Missy stepping with her and NAILING Tweed on the mouth with a running right hand. Tweed in trouble - flailing with weak limbed slaps and another ruinous left hook explodes upon her chin. AND SHANNON GOES OUT! Gently swooning forward, Shannon is buffeted by some curling left and right uppercuts before spilling senseless to the canvas. Hyatt out of control, pounces down, straddling her helpless foe and loading up a series of uncontested right hands on Tweed's sleeping face before the ref can tackle her off! KO2 Missy Hyatt.

After: Hyatt proclaiming herself the most powerful woman in boxing as Tweed is escorted woozily from the ring. Shannon with all the tools to make this easier than it was, gambled instead with a slugfest and paid the price. Tweed clearly underestimating Hyatt who can't box a lick, but who can punch, and put punches together on a cooperating opponent.
