Ana de Armas - |5’6”|32|7:0|Emilia’s Empresses|
Ginny Gardner - |5'8“|25|15:9|The Dollhouse|

Pre-Fight: Coming of a stable debut win and a 7:0 record, Ana was quite confident taking on the challenge from Ginny. She entered the ring in a purple bikini, blowing kisses to the attendants. Ana's (so far) perfect record didn't bother Ginny who entered the ring in gym shorts and a red sports bra matching Ana's confidence. The girls exchanged frowns before touching gloves and began.

Round 1: Ginny spared no expense, coming straight for Ana who opted for a more defensive approach. She managed to get the jump on the Cuban beauty, penetrating her gloves with a right cross and landing it on her mouth, following up with a double hook to Ana’s belly and a left uppercut to her chin. Ana was temporarily stunned but managed to escape before Ginny could strike again. Still on the offensive, Ginny chased after her and ran straight into a haymaker practically slamming her face on the canvas. Ginny got up at eight with a painful expression and a red face. No longer willing to chase Ana, Ginner took a step back. Wanting to take advantage of her lead, Ana stepped up the pace, not letting Ginny escape. She kept the blonde within reach, applying more pressure to her face with simple one-two jabbing combinations and an occasional hook. The bell rang before Ana could punch Ginny to ropes but winning the round despite.

Round 2: Well acquainted with one another’s deadly fists but hungry for more, the fighters come out ready for war. No punches are being pulled as both girls march forward trading blows upstairs and down. The back and forth punching contest lingers on for a solid minute before being interrupted by a knockdown. This time it’s Ana who hits the mat when an uppercut sends her off balance and a cross sends her tumbling down for the count. The rises at a steady six, still willing to exchange blows and doing just so as she meets with Ginny in the middle for a second time. The second punch exchange ends the same, with Ana being knocked down for a second time in the round. She beats the count again, at an eight this time but doesn’t engage the blonde for the third time. With the bell just around the corner, Ana hangs back avoiding any contact with Ginny and losing the round in the process.

Round 3: Ginny tries consolidating her lead, pressuring Ana from the start and with great success. The Cuban brunette looks timid after the double knockdown and Ginny takes full advantage, pushing her to ropes where she begins a series of jabs, rapidly taping her face. Ana raises her gloves to protect that precious face as Ginny goes to the body via hook/uppercut combinations. Butt-in-ropes and with nowhere to go, Ana, is forced to take the punishment as her defences don't do much to prevent Ginny from touching up her body and face. At the two-minute mark, Ana heads down for the third time of the night. She still rises, beating the count at seven and trying to keep as much distance from Ginny as she can. Not having paid attention to the opening round’s mistakes, Ginny eager to win chases after her again, and again she runs straight into a haymaker. This time, however, it fails to knock her down but gives her a definite fright. Two more hooks land on her face before Ana paces away and the bell ends round three.

Round 4: Having lost her momentum due to carelessness, Genny rises from her stool with her gloves up and a focused look, Ana mirrors as girls head into the fourth. Ana fights very slowly and methodically, picking her punches, making the fight about quality and not quantity. She eventually outworks Ginny, stunning her with a few precise jabs. With Ginny temporarily vulnerable, Ana takes the opportunity and strikes; first landing multiple hooks to her belly, then jabbing rapidly for her face and finally following up a right cross with an uppercut sending Ginny onto her back. She beats the count at seven as Ana gets back to basics; methodically jabbing for the blonde’s face, then following up with hooks when an opportunity shows itself busting her up in the process. Slow and steady wins the race as Ana pushes Ginny ropeside and takes the round leaving Ginny on edge for the fifth.

Round 5: Ginny rises from her stool with a dishevelled look on her face while Ana repeats the same strategy. Slow and methodical jabbing for Ginny face, one punch at a time. Ginny starts looking dazed from all the punching, her dukes are up but to no avail, as Ana’s fists flank her with ease. Soon Ginny finds herself back at ropes where Ana goes wild. She’s no longer punching methodically as she goes all out with uppercuts ensuring Ginny’s place at the ropes, then continuing with a plethora of hooks to her ribs. The blonde just sits at ropes taking the punishment with no means of defence. Luckily, she didn’t have to take much more punishment as the referee stopped the fight. She collapsed down from the ropes and onto the canvas with her arms around her battered body as Ana celebrated another win.

Post-Fight: “It was quite stressful at first, Ginny was a tough opponent but like everyone else I fought so far, I was able to overcome her with enough hard work.” Ana tells the press, celebrating her victory.

“She is a really tough fighter and I hope to get a rematch sometime. Until then I’ll keep working and looking forward to out next time in the ring” Ginny tells the press.
