BEFORE:
Avril practically grinning like a madwoman from her seat at the table at the thought of this rematch finally taking place, the chance at payback too great to stop her shooting Lily Collins hungry glances every so often to make sure her opponent’s actually seated down the press table. A reporter asks Lavigne what this rematch means to her, given her horrible treatment at the hands of Collins all those years ago, and she suddenly flashes annoyance, before grabbing the microphone.

"I was basically a rookie back then...whatever. Lily had way more experience, and I still fucked her up pretty good. That's why she's been avoiding this rematch for like, 2 years! Duh! NO idea what made her finally accept – everybody knows she’s a TOTAL cream puff and now that I've had plenty of experience boxing in this league, her creampuffery is going to be SO obvious to everyone watching me f*ck her up! I'm going to make this wimp-ass b*tch regret she ever shoved her disgusting, sweaty tummy in my face."

Bold words but Collins doesn't look intimidated, the veteran Vixen used to hearing her opponents talk trash about her but then failing to back them up in the ring. "Someone's salty," Lily laughs, pushing straight brown hair from her face. “Let’s just say that rubbing my abs all over Avril’s face was one of the highlights of 2017, if only it wasn’t so rudely interrupted by Vanessa’s interference at the end of our dance. Well, I’m back to finish the job, and no one’s gonna save you this time, Avril.”

Slight commotion later at the photo op as the two gals stride to the center of the stage for the official staredown. Avril opts to start the festivities early, a sudden LUNGE at Collins once she’s in range as a sucker punch stuns her to the nose and floors the Vixen down to her back with a clothesline! OUCH! Collins immediately lets out a groan as Avril shouts insults down at her from above, before the Doll proceeds to reach down at Lily’s hair, intending to punish her somemore. All this chaos occurs with the rest of the room also stunned for a moment, but Lily soon returns the favour, a right fist sunk into Av’s midsection before she spears the singer in two with a charging shoulder to the belly. The two rivals go tumbling onto the rest of the stage, painful shrieks from lips as they thrash and pull at each other’s hair. FINALLY fight officials seen scrambling onto the scene to try and restore order, forcing both of them apart, with either camp sure to receive some hefty fines for their girls’ misbehaviour.

24 hours later, we’re finally able to kick things off at the beach arena proper. Backstage officials allow Avril to enter the sand dunes first (in case she decides to try another ambush), Lavigne striding out from behind the curtains in a hot-pink bikini top and black bottoms, a fitting look for the end-of-summer theme. Collins comes out next, still looking slightly flushed from her brief melee last night, her brown hair tied up neat into a battle bun and lean body wrapped in a bright red bikini top, white briefs, with dual flourishes at the side.

Ladies not allowed to touch gloves lest this descends into another catfight, with the referee simply spouting the rules in the lonely center of the ring before waving his hand to indicate for the bell! Ladies bounce on their feet, their arms up in fighting positions, and HERE we go with ten rounds of Flyweight action!

ROUND 1:
Avril still ain’t giving Lily any credit for her achievements, sees her as a total weakling as she rushes forward, eager to get her hands on the Vixen once more. Lavigne jabs at Lily as though she's making up for all those three years of dodging, plotting her revenge from day one and now exploding shots at the head and body in rapid succession. Lily dodges and weaves with an equal passion however, able to avoid most of the hazardous jabs with speed before slapping leather back into Avril’s face, using the singer’s wild aggression to her own advantage. The strategy is paying off for Collins, who, despite her catty tendencies earlier, remains focused enough to keep her motions in check. Avril on the other hand appears so intent of wanting to “f*ck Lily up” that she expends much of her energy in the opening three minutes, without much to show for it.

ROUND 2:
Lavigne finally moving a little slower for her own good, keeping pace with the leaner, taller woman as both fighters go back-and-forth in the first minute. Avril lands more jabs to the face, surprising Collins with fast combos sent straight into the lips and nose, then dodges expertly when Lily tries to salvage the situation with her own counter-hook. Collins gets a taste of her own medicine in the first minute, struggling to adapt to Avril’s tactics, a lack of targets given to her on a silver platter with Lavigne choosing to hang back instead of charging at her. Ladies perform another quick exchange of punches in the final seconds, Lily wading in too close and suffering for it with a bashing left hook that grazes her cheek, and then another right hand banging off her temple. Wide round swings back to Avril’s corner as the Doll finally backs up her words with action.

ROUND 3:
More of the same as Lily struggles to adapt. Her modus operandi has always been speed and counter-punching, but that strategy’s being frustrated with her opponent gaining momentum and maintaining her distance. Lily squeezes off some early attacks to the face but finds her choice target back as Avril’s tummy, huffing hard as she slams a couple of straight hands in from afar. If you’d recall, this proved to be Avril’s downfall in their last encounter, and the Canadian better defend that vulnerable area better this time or risk yet another defeat at the hands of the Brit. She grunts as her tummy gets tanned by leather but then, immediately NAILS Collins on the nose with a right cross, which sends the Vixen’s strategy into the gutter again. Lily more surprised and stunned, backpedals and covers as she’s forced to defend yet more follow-up lefts and rights to the head and body. Avril takes this round wide again, showing how far she’s come compared to just a few years ago.

ROUND 4:
Lavigne back to running her mouth, goading Lily to come get her a second time if she can. Her confidence is returning now that she’s pulled ahead in points, the Canadian singer flying forward as she hounds Lily’s guard with more combos, hooks and aggression. Lily remains calm for the most part - it’s only the fourth round after all and she’s familiar with grinding out a victory in the latter half of a fight. She also knows that while Avril’s tummy might still be the target it once was, as is her stamina. Lily takes some jabs to her face or on the chin, but soon starts biting back as she weaves down and left before pounding shots into Avril’s midsection, then landing a right overhand swing which catches her foe off-guard. Lavigne blocks the blow at the last moment with her arms but the impact throws her off balance with a squeal… Lily rushes in, slams another left-right into the singer’s body before NAILING her across the cheek with a right hook! AND DOWN AVRIL GOES, falling sideways onto her knees as she’s taken to the cleaners in a rapid turn of events! A KNOCKDOWN for Lily Collins, who catches her breath whilst circling back to a neutral corner, satisfied with her handiwork as she watches Lavigne looking shellshocked and breathing hard on the floor. The Doll sits up for a couple of seconds before making a slow recovery, this knockdown a blow to her ego indeed but at least she manages to get back up by the count of 8 with the rest of the round stolen from under her feet.

ROUND 5:
Lavigne’s world rocked back there but that doesn’t mean this fight’s over. If anything, the Avril back to her wayward ways, striding forward with even more rigour and looking to brawl with Collins. Collins lets out a shout as her earlier efforts don’t seem to have dampened her foe’s enthusiasm, taking an early swing to her forearms before having to cover up and scram from more of Avril’s pounding off the side of her head and body. Avril thinks she’s got her opponent on the run, eagerly rushing after Lily, but Lily has other ideas, counter-punching skills back on display as she blocks another hook from Lavigne before cuffing her on the cheek with a counter-hook, then weaving backwards to avoid another attack and lifting her chin with a snap uppercut! OUCH!! Avril’s in trouble if this series of unfortunate events keeps piling up! The Doll’s singleminded focus is making her lose sight of the end goal, as she takes left-right combo to the tummy before a right cross nails her on the nostrils! That seems to have dazed her bad! AND HERE COMES LILY, slamming punches into the hapless girl’s body and face, driving Avril back into the hole from whence she came, before Collins PLANTS her feet and CLOTHESLINES the poor blonde with a straight cross to the chin!! Good lord!! LAVIGNE COMPLETELY FLATTENED – SHE’S DOWN AGAIN landing on the canvas in a heap! Lily may not be known for her raw power, but that punch completely RAGDOLLED Lavigne as she lays sprawled on the sand, looking completely OUT COLD!! Avril is definitely done here folks and Lily can only giggle as the referee’s count makes little difference, with the Canadian singer’s head rolled to one side and lips slightly parted as the bell hits the count of 10! It’s OVER in decisive and shocking fashion!

Official Decision: Lily Collins defeats Avril Lavigne via KO5!

AFTER:
What an upset tonight, especially for the Dollhouse corner who were hoping their top prospect would last a little longer against the Vixens brunette this second outing! Lavigne perhaps having spent too much of her energy scoring revenge in the early rounds, threw her comeback opportunity out the window. Avril still lying sprawled awkwardly in the middle of the ring when Lily strides over and plants a foot firm into her heaving belly, making sure to drill her heel into flesh whilst posing for the cameras.

Only response from Avril’s lips is a slight grunt as the blonde barely registers what is happening, but Collins ain’t nearly done with her - not after being denied her prior post-fight shenanigans by a certain Vanessa Hudgens. Collins picks the dishevelled blonde off her back, pulling her to her knees with two fistfuls of hair, hissing insults into Avril’s face about her weight on the way up. Avril barely registering what’s going on, whimpering again as she’s backhanded across the face, lips finally blubbering as her horrified face is pushed into Lily’s belly button and rock hard abs, the victorious Vixen bellows down at her as Lavigne’s muffled shrieks fill the ring.

“Who’s the creampuff now, huh?? If you want a taste of my tummy a third time, Av, you know where to find me.”

With that, Lily roughly shoves the beaten singer off, allowing Avril to collapse back down to her side, waiting for the Dollhouse team to come to her rescue. They soon are seen pouring through the ropes, chasing Lily back to her corner as they surround and treat their once queen.

Collins satisfied for now, as well as relieved, gets congratulated by her trainers in her corner but still casting smug looks back over her shoulder at Avril’s prone form. The Vixen’s definitely had some ups and downs in recent months, but perhaps she’s found a consistent footing against some key opponents. Unfortunately for her, Ms Lavigne once again finds herself flattened by this gorgeous and talented Brit boxer. Has the Doll finally learned her lesson? Only time will tell..
