BEFORE:
Winnick definitely looks fired up as she takes her seat at the pre-fight press conference, smiling and waving at reporters in attendance after a disappointing few months at the box office.

"You know, I never lost 3 in a row before. This is unfamiliar territory for me and I'm trying to find my way out. Had a great win against Lovato early in the year and then...I'm not sure what happened. I have 4 more months to fix this year and I'm hoping to start tonight. I'm sure Cardi won't make it easy for me though...she might still be a rookie in this league but all it takes is one look at her to know she's going to be a tough one for anyone. Unluckily for her, she catches me at my most desperate time. I'm going to give 200% tonight, and she's going to be on the receiving end of that. Good luck Cardi!" Katheryn ends with a wink towards the brunette, who seems far from impressed.

Cardi B not taking those comments well, shifting uneasily in her seat whilst she hears what Kat has to say. When it's her turn at the mic, the legendary rapper is less than flattering of her opponent tonight:

“This b*tch got more words than I got rhymes, huh? You know what? It’s telling that blondie over here hasn’t won a match since March, while I on the other hand have won all my fights except one, putting the smackdown on those hoes who thought they could handle me. I ain’t falling down for some milfy punkass white chick, hon. Nosiree. Winnick’s all show on the outside but I ain’t falling for her shite. Imma bury her old ass tonight - and that's that.”

Tough words befitting her tough reputation as Cardi B rolls her eyes at the podium, especially when Katheryn offers her a shake of the hand to show there’s still no ill feelings between them. Ladies are roughly the same height but Cardi is packing a sturdier build and more muscle, so it’ll be an interesting contest, can Winnick work around Cardi's power or will she find herself knocked silly on the mat tonight?

Fight night and Cardi enters first, provocative outfit as always as she strides down the ramp in a yellow sunburst bikini wrap and briefs, a pair of black gloves held high as she shows off the rest of her toned figure. Winnick of course emerging moments later, showing off her sexy pale body in a festive white bikini top and black bottoms, her usual black and white gloves on her hands and her long blonde hair in a messy high ponytail. Ladies come together for the last time within the ring, and yet again, Cardi refuses to touch up gloves despite Winnick’s final offer. Oh well, there’ll be plenty of contact to be had later. Referee waves for the bell and the match to start, so HERE we go with ten rounds of Bantamweight action!

ROUND 1:
Katheryn hasn't been in the ring since June but she’s moving forward like she’s never left, earning early points as she bashes straight hands into Cardi's visage from the get-go, with the American singer obviously not having danced in the ring as often as her counterpart and hence having some trouble dealing with getting punched in the face so quick and early. That's just fine by Winnick, who ramps up her attacks even faster as a result, beating Cardi back across the extent of the ring and giving her few chances to fight back. What can you expect from a girl who’s only fought four times compared to Winnick’s forty? It’s quickly turning into a slaughterhouse of a first round of it wasn't but those occasional jabs thrown back by the singer, with Winnick having to contend with wild punches landing on her chin and body in quick succession but without much discernible pattern. It's definitely not due to any skill on Cardi's part as the first round winds down clear for the Doll's corner.

ROUND 2:
Cardi however, getting slowly into the groove of things, starts exerting her own brand of power as she scores first blood in the second round, a right cross nailed to Kat’s cheek early in the first minute, the impact more shocking than hurtful for the older blonde, who winces as she falls back just in case of follow-up. Winnick hopes to take things slow right now, especially after her last three forays into the ring met with certain disaster, and she fends off more jabs from Cardi to the head as her counterpart flies after in a chase sequence. The big girls however get into another heated argument closer to the third minute, mutual sticking gloves into each other's faces as they go to town in the center to see who's the more powerful hitter, but ultimately, Katheryn comes away from that exchange not able to make up for her earlier mishap, conceding the round wide to her opponent.

ROUND 3:
Cardi therefore emboldened as she comes forward looking to brawl once again, gets herself rocked by a sudden hook that lands on her face outta nowhere, Kat shoving her beautiful head to the side with tremendous force and willpower. But the singer quickly recovers, reforming her guard at a distance and keeping Winnick away with more jabs sent towards her face. Kat gets the message, stays away for now, firing painful looking straight hands still manage to sting the American on her face and body, but otherwise doesn't manage to get in close enough to enact her vengeance. Round ends and we'd say that Ms B is doing much better than we'd anticipated her to. The night’s still young however as Winnick is calm and collected and focused on her way back to corner - she's been in tighter spots than this before and doesn't look one bit worried about her chances in the long run.

ROUND 4:
Cardi still showing off loads of heart as she rushes towards the blonde again - some early shocks to her arms designed to put a lesser woman back on the retreat and send her running for the hills, but this is Katheryn Winnick we're talking about here! Winnick absorbs flurry after flurry to her arms before she almost takes the brunette off her feet with a step-in swing that connects across her cheek, which sends Cardi in a 360 degree tail spiral, backpedalling on her heels as her eyes bulge from the impact! Bad news indeed and all downhill news from here on out as Cardi gets further whalloped to the face left and right, rest of her frame wailed on with low lefts and rights as the resurgent Doll wants to make a statement tonight after being called out for this long! Kat’s nailing those hooks all over, before catching Cardi flush on the face one final time, which literally KNOCKS her down to one side in a textbook / clean KNOCKDOWN!! Cardi laid out cold and callous on the canvas as her entire body slumps down and the American rolls over onto her back, her eyelids fluttering up into the floodlights!! It's OVER in shocking KO fashion!

Official Decision: Katheryn Winnick defeats Cardi B via KO4!

AFTER:
Big relief and a smile on the Doll's face as Winnick waves proudly to her loyal fans in the stands, then proceeds to head back to her corner to embrace members of her team. Four in a row would have certainly caused the naysayers to pile on, but hopefully with this win tonight, the pressure to perform is finally off her lovely shoulders.

Cardi B on the other hand has some soul-searching to do, breathing hard as she’s brought around by smelling salts, now being helped off her back as she glances up and down, left and right in shifty eyes, wondering what the hell just happened to her.

Thankfully, Winnick appears by her side to remind her of her devastating loss, but the Doll is, as ever, gracious in both victory or defeat, hovers nearby to see if she can be of any assistance to the fallen songstress. Not that Cardi B is even registering her presence, of course, apparently knocked to a different universe as she constantly questions recent events.

Later, Winnick speaks to reporters mulling outside the ring. “I’m glad I was able to get back on the horse tonight….it feels good to win!” a tired looking Katheryn smiles. “I was able to come in focused and use everything I learned in the last 3 years to take down a dangerous and much younger opponent, which is what I look forward to doing for the rest of this pretty horrible year. I’ve got some interesting fights coming next, which I can’t yet talk about….but I’m not going anywhere! See you guys on the next one!”
