Before: Mish Williams guest commentator for this high profile blonde showdown at fly. “Both girls want to impress me tonight,” assumes the champ. “They know I’m looking for anybody ho can give me some competition, they know I want somebody to get hot and this is the kind of match up that can launch a girl onto my dance card. Gellar’s eager to get back in with me, but I need to see her last with a puncher. Shakira’s had moments when she looks like she’s for real, but she can be outclassed. This is a good fight—girls who can do something when they’re not overmatched.” Gellar in sturdy white bikini, white shoes, slicked ponytail—Shakira in brown leather bikini top, tan suede bottoms, knee high moccasin style boxing boots with tassels.

During R1: Gellar so cute, so sharp  Boxing in the first minute, she’s staying close to Shakira but beating the Colombian to the punch, then sliding around the side, guiding and pulling at the singer with expert hands around the arms and head. Midway through, feather fisted Gellar walks Shak into a gorgeous right uppercut—Sarah sidestepping pretty to the right as Shakira stumbles forward hurt, wobbly butt. Shak keeps coming forward—final moment sees her get Gellar against the ropes. Shak with her head forward , right hand at her chest, left at her belly, elbows slightly bowed out as she bends, digs up underneath at her opponent’s ribcage. Gellar rolling with punches but suffering and SARAH TAKES A KNEE! Breathtaking rips to the bodkin have Sarah all shaky and choking back tears at the bell—she UNLOADED on Shakira this round and winds up dusting off her own backside for her trouble.

R2: Gellar putting the scraping, pesky jab to work, giving ground in stages but not before scrubbing Shakira’s face and eyes. Shak with her hands at her stomach, leaning forward, winging punches wide and finally grinding Gellar to the ropes, interesting give and take—Shakira bending to either side to rip up under the elbows of her foe, taking wide, clobbering swings. Geller slick n’ pretty under pressure, standing in the pocket, using the ropes—she’s turning her shoulders, laying over one side or the other after dragging counters into Shak. Gellar shows she can be elusive while standing right ion front of a girl—Shakira’s face shining up nicely after 2.

R3: Gellar content to sit and lean against the ropes, giving supple angles as she hides b behind her shoulders, turns her torso with Shakira’s wide punching. . Sarah a little too selective—she’ll fit Shakira for gorgeous counter right uppercuts or slapping hooks, then lay over on her side to cover up, but she’s getting outworked. Shak standing right there, unmoved, systematically beating her girl’s slender arms, thin ribcage, wisely ignoring the head.

R4: More of the same—Gellar taking this thing to the ropes where she’s gambling on her cute defense and counterpunching to wear Shakira out. Colombian taking hard on her chin, but shaking it off—she’s intent on Sarah’s ribcage, dipping and banging with Latina authority to either side. Gellar’s head still inaccessible—sixth sense allows het to duck repeatedly under vicious clubbing blows from Shak.

R5: Gellar to the ropes, luring Shakira in, fitting chin and belly for sneaking, curling little punches, snuggling in close with Shak on follow through to smother receipts. Beautiful right uppercut on the chin finally has Shak on her heels—Gellar ailing off the ropes with a sweeping flurry of lefts and rights, spanking Colombian face shabby to midring. Shakira earmuffing up and tilting forward—Gellar happy to smuggle home a right hand up underneath, step to the right, swing away left to gut between Shakira’s protective elbows.. Gellar sidestepping back, chiseling away wit her jab as she foes so, running Shak into the right cross, ducking down and snuggling up to frustrate Latina’s pursuit. Hard potshots, brilliant movement, slapping decoys, pesky jabbing—Gellar lights Shakira up and has Mish Williams clapping happy ringside.

R6: Shak shakes it off, hounds Gellar to the ropes—pressure fighter bores in on counterpuncher once again in the trenches. Shak really tearing away at Sarah’s midsection and flanks—Gellar clinching more often, needing breaks.

R7: More consistent Shakira pressure, beating away at her foe’s tanned shoulders, tiny biceps, inviting hips and pain-wracked ribcage. Gellar getting low, nudging Shak off with little shoulder shoves, pulling down on Shak’s head, tying her up. Down the stretch, Shak swinging away wide and she gets TAGGED a clipping little right uppercut! Gellar pretty as she spins off the ropes, helping Shak forward with a tug behind the neck—Shakira spills to her knees half hurt, half pushed, but the ref’s issuing 8. Geller steals a Shakira round as precision and defense continues to answer aggression and pressure.

R8: Gellar taking it to Shakira this round, electing to get her back off the ropes and work her opponent’s midsection. Shak hunching forward, hands up but Gellar’s fitting juicy body punches just above the trunks, in between Shak’s elbows, Gellar nice and free with her swings, thumping a right, stepping back,  letting Shak come on and thumping in the left. Shak coming out of the crouch on occasion with plenty of heat on clubbing strokes—she’s landing form when she connects, just not busy enough this round.

R9: Shakira getting thigh wobble out of Gellar as she sets up over Sarah’s right shoulder and hammers away righty to the gut. Gellar queasy with hurt, trying to slide her butt along the ropes to the left, but Shak staying on her, pressing up on the right shoulder, slugging away downstairs with greedy right hands. Clinches and tired mauling from Gellar as she gets warned for holding this round. Shakira’ taken the best Gellar can give and she’s still outworking the American late.

R10: Gellar jabbing, laying in the right cross, slinging the hook, pivoting to the left as Shakira bulls through it. Shak dipping forward, hands low, ripping out of her crouch to her opponent’s hips and ribs, trying the odd uppercut s Sarah flinches backward. Back and forth they tear at each other—Sarah landing in pretty, slashing or slapping combinations—Shakira crouching forward, answering with brute force. Slugging continues after the bell, girls getting jiggy toe to toe as neither wants to give an inch. Ref heaves’em apart, judges delay and this one comes back a hardhearted draw after 10.

After: Mish Williams loving it—two rivals putting hard miles on one another—champ could watch that all night long. “just goes to show,” quips Michelle, “you don’t have to have great fighters to make a great fight. These kids really dig in and fought for their suppers tonight. Did I see anything to make me want a piece of either? Not really, but that doesn’t mean, I wasn’t entertained!” Scrappy effort shouldn’t be belittled-speed and skill exquisitely balanced against will and power for boxing at its best.
