BEFORE: "SO frustrating!" Bridget says of her New Zealand shooting schedule conflict with the Welterweight Tournament. "I watched on TV of course, and it was heartbreaking, 'cause I knew I could've done well. And the other thing was, you know - Amanda Righetti's a great fighter and all, but after she won you guys were all 'Amanda's the greatest of all times; Amanda's superwoman,' and what not. That's frustrating to me, because I just know she's very beatable, and I think I might have dented her armor a bit if I'd been there." Mary Mac cranky from the get go: she's wearing white tank top and jeans, while Bridget shows up in black leather jumpsuit straight out of The Avengers (opened provatively low as well)...brunette humbling blonde in prefight wardrobe department. "All I know is Regan gets talked about often, but nobody's seen her fight. Except the one time when she got her can kicked by Righetti. She looks pretty: you might want to remember her the way she is now. When I get done, she's gonna look like an unmade bed!" Mary in white cotton tank top and baby blue panties; white gloves; blonde hair loose. Bridget in white bikini; white gloves; long black hair curly/tangly.

During R1: Mary in crossed arm (right atop left) steppin'-and-bobbin' her way forward: she prods a stubby lead right range-finder, then rips Bridgy hooks to ribcage early. Hefty blonde thump wins respect: Bridget scowling, pumping two stiff jabs to Mary's hairline while shifting clockwise. First minute pretty much Mary walking Bridget down - Regan sidestepping behind a heavy, shelling jab. Minute mark, Bridget twitches in a sudden right hand off her shoulder, punching Mary's face hard-starboard: McCormack's arms still crossed at her body as her head tosses aside. Mac blinking, stepping backward: Bridgy over to offence, now walking Mary down. Apron - Regan scowling: she pounds jabs to pecs and arms, landing beefy. Mary frowning, grouchy - right hand moves palm-out to her left cheek, left across her gut as she slinks to her right along ropes. Bridget stepping with - POUNDING those arms - brunette laying down a patient, thumping barrage of stiff left jabs and clapping roundhouse rights. Bridget suddenly leaning in, twitching that sneaky right off her shoulder to Mary's forehead: blonde head snaps back; blonde body slumps into ropes. Mary blinking, hurt: Bridget crouches, then springs, jumping a short, muscular hook into Mary's jaw (neatly crossing up Mary's right-hand-at-left-cheek peek a boo) to clean up. Booming blast - Mary going out on contact, sagging into ropes, then crumpling into canvas fast asleep. Huge clean-up KO1 Bridget Regan.

AFter: Understandable party in Regan's corner as young brunette is hugged and back-slapped: blonde slugger on her stool, getting salts, looking shabby. "Um...honestly, we didn't anticipate cleaning Mary up early," a gracious Bridget says in postfight. "We knew she was a tough, durable nut - and we trained to work the jab, punish the body, wear her down a bit before taking it to her. You know - my right hand's VERY heavy: I caught her with one, and she didn't like it, so I got aggressive, started working...and she just sort of shut down. She was hurt pretty bad when I caught her that hook - but still I didn't expect her to go out like that!" Bridget a sweetheart afterwards - checking on Mary, chatting with her in the ring: no hard feelings as a chagrined blonde knows she just got clipped a wallop clean and fair.
