Before: Daniel wiping angry tears ass the mainstream press flocks to a breezy Cameron Diaz—that’s what you get for fighting a 20 million-dollar-a-movie superstar on the opening weekend of her smash hot vehicle. BLONDE! magazine one if the few mags that bothers to record a quote from the scalded champion.

“It’s not my fault that sexiest woman in Hollywood isn’t the biggest star,” sniffs Brit. “it’s not my fault the best fighter and CHAMPION of the lightweight division isn’t the biggest star. I don’t care if people hate me, I’m going to tear their previous Ca,eron Diaz apart in this fight. Hey—is that thing ON?”

Diaz adding fuel to the fire with her comments—“Brittany’s shown time and again that she can’t handle big money, bright light showdowns. It’s not that she’s a bad fighter, but it doesn’t matter how good you look in the gym when nobody’s watching—it’s how you do when CAMERON DIAZ is in the opposite corner and the whole WORLD is rooting for her. I was the hottest fighter in the division before I got jobbed out on my first shot and I’m picking up where I left off. It would probably have been better for Brittany if she hadn’t lucked out against Liz.”

Cameron in Boxeadoras International team outfit:  Black wet leather sports bra matching mini-trunks & miniskirt with golden tassel fringe); Brittany in black bra style bikini; leopard print bikini bottoms.

During R1: Cameron using her height—wide stance, she’s leaning onto her back (right) foot to change distance, spiking at Daniel’s face as the champ reaches punches. Banging, stiff connects from Cam—stiff jabs, bringing the hand back down to her hip, leaning back from Brit’s receipt, pushing off that back foot to pound the right hand sharp off the eye, then leaning back out, clipping Brit the forget-me-not-hook. In and out like this—Cam occasionally stepping out, walking around to reset, toying with Brit at times as Daniel just can’t make contact. Famous Diaz grin at the break, Brittany having to be held back as she boils over at the sight.

R2: Moe of this pinpoint, power punching from a focused, heartless Cam Diaz. Hands are low—Diaz relying upon her body lean and footwork to keep her out of harm’s way—Daniel edging in and pitching but coming up short and paying a heavy price. Pounding counter right hands have crowd shouting upon impact, cracking check-hooks swiveling her jab, drawing Brit forward, fading onto her back leg, leaning back in with the blunt right, leaning out with the hook—Daniel’s getting all chopped up. End of the second minute—Daniel’s head straight back like she just caught a soccer ball in face, Cam’s  right hand stunning her.. left hook clapping the mouthpiece free and DANIEL’S DOWN! Withering accumulation of accurate power punches puts Brittany on all fours—Janet Jones pounding on the apron, screaming for Daniel to ‘GET UP!”==Brit barely beats the count on trembling pins. Diaz grinning as she steps in to finish, pouring on a flashy, slashing flurry, batting at Brittany’s face, busting her up, lashing shoeshines rugged across the breasts. Daniel makes it to the bell—Diaz shoving the ref and berating him: the guy must be new—Cam’s used to getting a stoppage when she’s shredding a girl like that.

R3: Daniel’s head drooping in corner—JONES SLAPS HER, shocking Brit back around, mouth open in hurt outrage—Janet grabs her chin and snarls, “Please, Brittany, hook this b###h in the body.” Diaz dancing, a little arm weary, she’s not setting down on shots the way she was earlier. Daniel able to come forward, jabbing at Diaz’ chest to stabilize, getting a little chopping right blunt over Cameron’s jab. Diaz bringing the stick back low and paying the price—she’s underestimating Daniel’s ability to scoot and shoot. Daniel getting her range for the first time, raking Diaz hooks across the abdomen and chest as Cam tries to hop to her right. Champ the aggressor, coming back from disaster to own the third—left eye swollen, cut in the mouth but determined as she stomps back to her stool.

R4: Diaz blatantly running, hopping to her right around the perimeter—Daniel scuttling after her, growing in confidence. Daniel scoring repeatedly over Diaz’ insolent jab—champ chopping counter right hands, banging Cam’s head back to draw gasps from ringsiders. Brittany chasing Cam to the ropes, clawing right/left at her flanks, pulling Diaz’ arms forward on follow through, then hup-hup-hupping to the sternum and breasts with chewing uppercuts. Cameron spinning out, keeping her distance using the ring well until the dying moments. Daniel stepping with, nails a crashing right over Diaz jab, finally buckling the champ’s support leg and sendin her reeling into the ropes. Murderous flurry as Brit hops in and jigsaws her way up Cameron’s torso at the bell.

R5: Brit gets a poking right over Cam’s jab, doubles it up to spank back the head and CAMERON SCOOTS TO HER BUTT! Diaz up, bleeding from the nose, eyes drifi9tng—she lopes to her left, trying to jab Brittany off her. Daniel hounding, weaving, driving into Diaz with straight rights to the chest, chopping rights to the chin, hooks in the ribs. Down the stretch, Diaz wobbling to her right, stops, bends into a whistling right

Hand and HAMMERS Brit’s head back! Champ put wobbly butt, stunned, almost out on her feet—she sways as she covers up while a hurting challenger takes over. Diaz licking her hook across Brittany’s belly, buckling the champ forward, picking her up with a pretty series of clipping left/right uppercuts on the face. Bell sounds, girls separated bv ref, crowd roaring—both beauties on shabby legs.

R6: Cameron dancing to a spot, thrn setting down, harming Brit with the lead right hand, leaning back to avoid the receipt while cuffing Brit the counter-hook, then leaning back in to plug another right home. Daniel put woozy by clan, sharp power punching—Diaz dialed in, working in and out, pounding away on her foe’s swollen, tender features, All Diaz till late, that low jab victimized once again by a sudden counter right. Daniel doubling it up, popping Diaz in the mouth, TRIPLING UP—third right hand smacks in between the eyes, unhinging Cameron’s knees. Boozy beauty drapes high over Daniel and it’s a mistake—Brit able to unleash underneath the clinch, twisting her shoulders side to side scrubbing ribs with punches and forearms, drawing sobs of agony from a shellshocked challenger. Girls pried apart after the bell—Daniel tearing away like a dog on a bone late.

R7: Cameron’s jab lighting Brittany up, so stuff and clean, coming back low, but Diaz leaning onto her back foot has Brit missing or doubleclutching. Diaz able to get her combinations going again, pounding Brittany’s left eye closed, hitting her flush right hands and clanging hooks as ringsiders squeal in sympathy. In and out, Cameron’s  feeling it, pouring it on as Brittany comes undone at the seams. Daniel pushing leather, unsteady on her feet and constantly getting cracked—start of the second minute, she wobbles to her knees, bludgeoned, punished, tears if hurt and frustration welling up.

Diaz taking a huge breath in the neutral corner then coming for Brittany after 8. Not the usual slashing arm punches—Diaz rifling her punches, putting together angular leverage into these shots, confident Daniel’s too shot to counter. Right hand grazes Daniel’s right cheek as she just barely slips in but the come-back hook catches her disastrous. Cam steps to the side as Brittany’s head torques, champ spilling to the canvas and rolling to her back. Daniel’s reign of terror is over: KO7 for the winner and NEW lightweight champ, Cameron Diaz.

After: Diaz feted, hoisted high and carried around the ring—battered face and ribs testimony to the bitter nature of this back and forth contest, Both girls badly battered, Daniel sobbing inconsolably in her corner, then stunned as a People Magazine reporter actually wants a word. Ignored in prefight, Daniel getting recognition for a gutsy, gritty defense, coming back from certain ruin in the second to give Cameron Diaz all she could handle. Even haters have to recognize: Brittany had taken the lead in the sixth—punks don’t do that against quality comp like Diaz.
