Eliza Taylor versus Tracy Spiradakos
(Words: Bazz / Results: Lookout!)

Before: Tracy Spiridakos looks over the reporters splayed out in front of her and then starts her dissertation on excelling at life inside the Bazz Fight Camp. “When you wake up as a fighter in our club you ingest a bowl of hideous roots of some sort, although I have to say that both Pointy and Cassie Scerbo have done a decent job of making this stuff somewhat edible. Then the training begins and let me tell you, I know that a lot of other clubs work hard too, but it just seems that when we come into a fight, win, lose or draw, we never run out of gas. That’s where I’m planning to end up tonight, on top with plenty of gas left in the tank.”

Eliza gives the Bazz girl a sideways sneer and then in her Aussie accent begins. “I’m not sure that bloody talk rings true. Sure you’ve got a hell of a club and your manager seems to have the chops, at least for a pommie, but you’ve not run at full bore yet have ya girl? And I say that because this is the first time we’ve been matched up isn’t it? I run an up tempo game so to speak. Somewhat like that crazed jitterbug Scerbo who hangs her hat in that compound of yours. In any event get ready to run Sheila, and run hard.”

Eliza looking splendid in a purple bikini with white gloves and boxing shoes, her hair all loose and tangly. Tracy is in Bazz black with dark green gloves and boots, her hair tied back loosely.

Rd 1 True to her word Taylor is out of the gate quick. She runs down Spiridakos and slaps her with a right hand. Tracy backs up a step and then rocks back and lands her own right hand. Both girls fully engaged with Eliza trying her best to muscle Spiridakos up against the ropes and Tracy slugging back with jabs and right hands off her back foot while she retreats against the Aussie onslaught. Eliza using some good form to connect to the body and then move up for a couple of head shots. Spiridakos blocking most of the punches but Taylor is still scoring. She’s staying tight with the Bazz girl not letting her get away. Spiridakos scoring with some quick jabs and holding her own now but Taylor is scoring too and she has a good lead for the round. The pace is hectic to say the least. Each fighter is showing off some serious quickness. Taylor constantly looking for a seam to attack from finally gets an opening and slices through from the right hand side with a three punch combination. Spiridakos is stunned and as the bell rings Taylor is out to an early lead.

Rd 2 Neither fighter looks hurt after a rough and tumble first round. Taylor still using speed to try and get in on Spiridakos. She steps in with her right leg and lets loose a crisp jab but Tracy’s just as quick dodging to her right and then sending in a right hand buggywhip to Eliza’s lower side which doubles her over. Spiridakos moves in with a two punch combo that send Eliza back against the ropes. Tracy tries to go jug attack but Taylor sashays to her right and skirts the damage. Spiridakos stays in front unleashing another combo while Taylor counters with her own three punches to the face. Crowd on its feet fully enjoying one of the more entertaining fights with two very quick fighters going at it. Tracy skips into Eliza with a left and then a very strong right hand uppercut. Taylor stung to the chin backs off while Spiridakos follows up with a left hand roundhouse that just misses being a knockout punch. Round ends with Eliza in retreat against Tracy’s full on aggression.

Rd 3 Taylor more cautious after Spiridakos’ rebound in the previous round. Tracy right back at it with a flurry of jabs that peck away at Eliza’s face. Taylor again, very quick, moving in a circle taking what Spiridakos is giving out. She’s batting away as many jabs as possible and pouring on her own pressure with her right hand. Both fighters seem to have found a happy place from which to attack and are now throwing bombs toe to toe. It’s hammer and tongs now. Punches landing in a blur from both fighters. Suddenly Tracy puts out another side arm right that lands to the side of Eliza. Crowd going berserk at the sight of the two fighters going at it in full attack mode. Neither girl is slowing down when Spiridakos lands another right hand to the body, and Taylor is hurt! Spiridakos backing the Aussie up with a withering barrage as the round ends.

Rd 4 Both fighters get right back at it. Tracy jabbing and trying to use her right hand to further damage Eliza’s side while Taylor seems none the worse for wear although she is now doing a better job at protecting her body. Taylor on the offensive as well snapping off jabs and moving rather smoothly around the ring. Each fighter switching gears and going with almost all offense. They are back to swinging with both arms at a frenetic pace. Crowd not able to discern who is getting the upper hand when suddenly Taylor nicks Spiridakos with a right hand to the chin and DOWN GOES TRACY! Spiridakos bounces right back up after taking a shot to the face. She bounces up and down on her feet while the ref administers a standing eight count. Fighters reunite at center ring and the mayhem continues. Taylor looking to throw another lightning strike while Spiridakos goes back to the body with her own quick punching. The round ends with Taylor scoring an effective knockdown.

Rd 5 Neither fighter is slowing down. The pace is frenetic. The only participants seemingly worn out is the crowd heavy from the copious cups of beer served thus far. Spiridakos moving quickly side to side. She’s throwing jabs followed up with right hand buggywhips or uppercuts. Eliza all over the Bazz girl with her own combos. Taylor clearly in charge moving Spirdakos around the ring but she’s taking some good shots from Tracy’s right hands to the body. Neither girl has even thought to create a clinch and slow things down. Every time Taylor skips into Spiridakos throwing a blur of a two punch combination Tracy comes back with a right hand. Still the round seems to be going Eliza’s way. Could this turn into a barn burner of an upset in favor of the toned Aussie? She’s starting to look like a contender when she stretches to catch Spiridakos with left hand when Tracy ducks down and turns to throw a strong right hand cross and DOWN GOES ELIZA! Spiridakos catches Taylor with a right hand that catches Eliza right in the liver. Taylor rolls aver onto her hands and knees and gets up to face the ref for the standing eight count. The two fighters go back at it for the final minute. The two knockdowns seem to have had no effect on either of the fighters as the round ends with a strong comeback by Tracy Spiridakos.

Rd 6 Each fighter grimacing. Neither willing to let the pain and exhaustion show in the face. They’re in close now throwing short punches. Head to head and working hard each fighter taking anything they can get from their opponent. Meanwhile the crowd seems to be swaying back and forth unable to stand still suffering from their own stamina draining aerobics of watching the back and forth fighting and beer swilling which has now reached and epic pace. Eliza and Tracy are pounding away. There’s just no end in sight from either of the fighters. Both have been hurt and both have been going as hard as humanly possible. Taylor throwing jab after jab keeping Spiridakos at bay as she circles the Bazz girl. Tracy lunging in on Eliza with speedy combos. Suddenly during the back and forth barrage Spiridakos shifts upstairs throwing a two punch combination that catches Taylor on the forehead and then the side of her face and DOWN GOES ELIZA! Taylor down on her back with her arms up over her head. The ref halfway through his count watches the Aussie climb up the ropes and then stand gloves up ready to go. Spiridakos in shock as she watches the Lazarus like rise from the canvas. She shakes her head and once the ref agrees that Taylor is up and able to take nourishment advances for more. Taylor a seemingly indestructible force thus far is hunched over and defensive. Tracy stands back throwing jabs for a moment, as if accessing whether the well built Aussie might be playing possum. Taylor trying her best to recover up against the ropes.until Tracy’s jabs become more forceful and mixed with her deadly right hand. Eliza throws some weak punches but Tracy slides through sending three punches. Bap! Bap! Bap! Rocking Eliza’s head and then turns a right to the body that doubles over the Aussie and IT”S ALL OVER! The ref steps in cradling a broken Eliza to end the fight! IT”S A TKO FOR TRACY SPIRIDAKOS IN ROUND 6!

After: Eliza walked bck to her corner by the referee where she plops down on her stool. Tracy unable to do much better taking a seat in her corner with her legs splayed out in front of her. “If I ever claim the high ground with regards to our training again. I will willingly eat two big bowls of Scerbo’s famous Mexicali Naga Viper Pepper pudding. The punishment will certainly be less than what I face in this ring tonight. Hey she’s great! Eliza is one tough customer with one helluva high octane engine. She’s got my respect that’s for sure. Still you have to be ready to move on once you’re planted your flag which I did tonight. So onward and upward for me”
