Mila Kunis vs. Olivia Holt

(Words: Front Street / Results: Lookout!)

BEFORE:

Match up of blonde phenom and brunette late bloomer doesn't exactly need a ton of hype, but both ladies are willing to engage in some. "She's just a blonde Ariel Winter," Mila says. "And, you saw what I did to Ariel Winter."

"Know what the difference is between me and Ariel Winter?" asks Olivia. "ONE of us is capable if kicking Mila Kunis' a**."

ROUND ONE:

Holt aggressive early. Blonde HAS the physicals and she wants to GET physical. Brunette, though, has a different plan. She wants tactical boxing. And, she controls the geometry to enforce those terms. Holt finds herself unable to get anything going early, and it only gets worse as the round goes on. Mila's controlling her rival with the jab, using the footwork to wrong foot her repeatedly, and generally just getting the blonde out of sorts and keeping her there. Olivia's never hurt, but she's also never able to get anything going. Instead, what she's GETTING is leather in her face. Over and over again. As Mila piles up points while the blonde's frustration mounts. Final seconds sees Kunis land a pair of sharp combinations that force Holt to back and cover. At the bell, Kunis trots back to the corner with a satisfied smile, a wide win, and a 10-9 lead.

ROUND TWO:

Blonde begins to solve the geometric problem, gets the angles down, gets to her spots, gets off with hard, accurate stuff. Now, THIS is the Olivia Holt everyone expected to see. Then. BOOM! Straight right hand and Mila is HURT! That quickly, Lovely Livvy's got the veteran in trouble. Sturdy blonde stepping to her rival, letting her have it with both hands. Kunis wobbly, covering up, trying to ride this thing out, but Holt determined to end things in dramatic fashion. Brunette ends up on the ropes in the final minute and Livvy's throwing everything she has at the former champion. She's WHACKING Kunis with nasty hooks to the head and short uppies that split the gloves. Mila in desperate shape as the ref looks on, but, somehow, Kunis does enough to hold him off to the bell. And, now it's the blonde who's taken the points wide to even things at 19.

ROUND THREE:

Holt letting the brunette have it. Mila still wobbly and Livvy's taking full advantage. She's sighting in the big guns and firing them repeatedly, buffeting the brunette around the ring, punishing her while piling up points. Kunis doing her best to manage all of this, but having little success stopping a rampant Holt. Olivia's having almost everything her way for the first two minutes. Finally, though, the former champion begins to shake off the worst of the punishment and get her legs back under her. Holt's still in control, but Kunis is at least able to fire back in spots, slow down the blonde offensive some. Slow down. But not stop. Because Holt's still rolling, if more slowly, right to the bell. And, when it rings, she's grabbed the third and wide to grab something else, the lead, 29-28.

ROUND FOUR:

Holt again after Kunis aggressively, but now Mila's firing back and we're seeing some SCINTILLATING exchanges in the middle of the ring! Both blonde and brunette getting some SERIOUS leather on target and nobody's backing up a step. For a full minute, it's flurry after flurry until Kunis, her point having been proven, gets back to boxing. Holt, who's used up a lot of energy over the last two rounds plus, willing to box with, at least for now, and we go from trading bombs to tactics for the second third of the stanza. And, again, it's two-way stuff, with Holt now able to find her spots as well as the brunette can. Final minute sees the issue very much in doubt, as more two-way boxing takes place with neither fighter able to create a lot of space on the cards. At the bell, though, it's the veteran who's done a bit more and we're even at 38.

ROUND FIVE:

Same again. Boxing. Blonde and brunette moving well, creating opportunities to land leather with both hands and feet. Mila excellent with the jab, picking Olivia off, then quickly following on with right hands. Holt angling very well, slipping to spots where she can get off quickly with hard, accurate leather. It's good, two-way stuff for the second round in a row, and, again, there's not much in it. No one can create any space, as both blonde and brunette seemingly have an answer for anything and everything the other tosses at them. Mila with a combination? Olivia with a combination. Holt with a solid right? Mila with a solid right. Back and forth for the entire three minutes. So, when the bell finally sounds, it's close...but not quite even. It's the blonde who's done a little more and taken the points to lead again, 48-47.

ROUND SIX:

Back to boxin...BOOM! Right hand, KUNIS and HOLT is HURT! Olivia walked perfectly into a BLISTERING right from the brunette and now the blonde is all wobbly-butt! Kunis all OVER the younger woman immediately, letting the hands go, battering Holt backward and then pinning her to the ropes. And, then it gets REALLY ugly. Kunis simply begins picking the dazed blonde to pieces, landing hard shots to both head and body as Olivia hangs on desperately in a high guard. Referee looking in, and there's no telling what's keeping him at bay, because it's looking to all and sundry like he might want to get in there before serious damage is done. But, he holds off as Kunis piles up the hurt, and, finally, the bell rings ending Holt's misery, but, not before Mila takes it wide and evens things again at 57.

ROUND SEVEN:

Kunis the boss, stepping to Holt, backing her up, THUMPING her with both hands. Livvy desperately trying to hold canvas, but can't get it done, as the brunette offensive continues rolling right over her...BOOM! Right hand counter, HOLT! Olivia gets the feet set and lands an absolute BOMB that sends Kunis wobbling. And, now Olivia goes ALL IN! Blonde tossing everything she has at the listing brunette. Kunis backing, covering, trying to ride this thing out...BOOM! Right hook and DOWN. GOES. MILA! Kunis dropped to her right side. Blonde to a neutral corner. Kunis pushing up to forearm and haunch as the numbers mount. Tries to get her knees under her but SLUMPS BACK TO THE CANVAS and it's OVER! And your winner by KO7 is Olivia Holt!

AFTER:

Holt looking bruised and scuffed in the post-fight, but she's also unrepentant. "I TOLD you," the blonde beauty says, "I'M no Ariel Winter. I'm a future flyweight champion. And, the future is NOW."
