Lily Collins vs Anya Chalotra II

BEFORE:
It was about a year ago in April of 2020 that Anya Chalotra KO’ed Lily Collins in under four rounds, leaving a bad stain on Lily’s record and something the Vixen has never lived down.

“First, it was Ana. She went down like a sack of bricks. Now, Anya’s gonna be next. I don’t take my losses lightly, as you can probably tell. I’ve been training for over a year now, specifically for this rematch, so you can be sure I won’t make the same mistakes as last time,” Lily says to the press room with a confident nod.

All that cocky talk only makes Anya laugh even louder from across the table. The British fighter has been busy filming the latest season of The Witcher series, but not having fought since 2020 doesn’t seem to bother her.

“Four rounds,” she puts up the same number of fingers for emphasis. “The ex-Flyweight champion went down before even fifteen minutes were up. I can’t believe how or why Lily was rated #2 on the pound-for-pound rankings after I dropped her ass so quickly a year ago. If she wants a repeat result of last time, I’m happy to oblige.”

Like the last time they fought, Anya sports a one-inch height advantage but the true difference comes in the way both ladies are built: Lily lean and mean, having bulked up specifically for this fight as she plants a balled fist close to Anya’s cheek. Chalotra not backing down, her bulkier Bantamweight body wrapped in a black bikini, showing off her own toned figure as she flexes for the cameras. All those action-scenes have surely paid off!

Later in the ring, Collins stands put in one corner, doing last minute stretches in a black sports bra top, short white boxing trunks and red gloves. Chalotra in that same black bikini top and briefs from before, with white gloves now on either hand. Referee waves for the bell and HERE WE GO with ten rounds of Bantamweight action!

ROUND 1:
Lily kicks off the action with multiple jab combos sent in crisp and strong, pounding away on Cholatra's guard to give her early notice that she’s in for a different experience. The last time she faced off against the bulkier Bantamweight, the Vixen got blown off her feet before the conclusion of the fourth. Now, she's not taking any chances, staying far and wide and twitching backwards at the slightest hint of trouble from the English actress, Anya spending the first round testing the waters herself as she absorbs a couple of clean shots to her face but manages to chase Lily off with a more powerful cross or straight hand driven back, most of the time missing though as Collins proves too agile, too early.

ROUND 2:
Lily must be liking the fact that she's considered the number 2 pound-for-pound fighter in the entire FCBA, but that doesn’t mean she should immediately jump into the ring with a girl a couple sizes bigger than her. Cholatra brimming with confidence as she closes the distance bit by bit, calm, patient swings taken at Lily's head, intended to put her down with one lucky blast to the face. Lily's melting away in the face of her foe’s early aggression, spending more time keeping her distance than actually landing her own attacks on Chalotra. Just as we feared: Anya eventually catches Lily on the side of the head with a grunting hook, another packed into her body that sends Collins reeling off to the side. Bad news for the Vixen if this treatment keeps up - she might as well lie down in the middle of the ring and call it a day.

ROUND 3:
Anya keeps her aggressive stance, making for a straight line towards Collins and showing no quarter. The brunette whips a right hook into the arms early on, hoping to overpower Collins and send her down quick. Lily moves and works in overdrive, keeps her guard as firm as she braces before each landed impact, Anya’s power almost driving her backwards a couple of steps after a third such cross lands hard to the middle of her arms. But those power-shots are also taking their toll on Chalotra, who soon finds herself eating counter-combos as Lily gets emboldened and punts her to the face with a fast one-two combo to the nostrils and lips, then jumps back out of the way from more incoming fire. Chalotra’s had enough of this in the final minute, crowding in close and wailing away at the Vixen’s tummy, scoring once, twice, three times in quick succession before Lily manages to scramble to the side, slightly bent over from the tummy shots but still holding onto her marbles. All that aggression has granted her the round by a close margin, though the toll might not be worth the overall trouble.

ROUND 4:
Lily imposing her speed, taking advantage of Anya’s sluggishness as the bigger brunette struggles to catch her breath. Lily meanwhile squeezes in tight shots to her face, shouts and taunts mid-stance as she knocks the big girl’s head back more than once, pounds away at her body and chest whenever Chalotra’s arms move wildly upwards or down. She’s doing a fantastic job as compared to her last outing with her opponent, and Anya’s starting to realise that she might be in for a whole new world of hurt if she doesn’t exert her dominance now. Third minute sees more mad rushes forward from Anya, who charges at Lily whilst swinging her hands in a mad-dash pattern of hooks and uppercuts, which barely make a dent to Lily’s defences. Collins swiftly avoids or deflects the power-blows with the expertise of a former Flyweight champion, not allowing her concentration to be broken in the same timeframe as her last fight. End result is Collins takes the fourth round wide, dominating in points instead, and she continues hounding the tired Brit all the way back to the bell.

ROUND 5:
More of the same as Lily keeps her momentum going, resumes the slow, forceful flurries that are slammed into Anya’s body and arms at every opportunity. Just the fact that Collins has made it to the fifth round without getting blown off her feet is an achievement in itself, but now, she’s rushing in like she wants to make her own statement as she peppers Anya’s frame with jab combos and then slowly taking bigger swings at her foe’s head to try and knock her down. Chalotra, however, not biting, grunting for sure as she gets pounded on, but Collins has never been that known for her own exceptional power, and her attacks prove more like fending off an angry swarm of bees than anything bigger. Anya recovers enough by the last minute to begin fighting back, suddenly driving a right hand through the arms, which snags Lily on the mouth and snaps her head back. If Lily’s not careful here, she might see her lead evaporate completely. Another right cross to the body stuns the lean Vixen in place, but the bell rings too soon for Chalotra to enforce her comeback.

ROUND 6:
Chalotra back in the game as she moves forward with greater energy, making Lily look hella worried her nightmare ending might be postponed, and not avoided. The Vixen goes back to shooting combos in and out, in and out, head-hunting her fellow Brit, but she should have taken advantage of her foe’s breathlessness earlier; now, Anya’s powering straight crosses back to the middle of her arms, stunning her with grunts as Lily’s forced to weather yet another wild storm on the horizon. Ladies exchange rapid shots in the middle of the ring for a good thirty seconds, Lily thinking she can stand her ground and plant more punishment on the bigger girl, gets sorely mistaken when Anya huffs and grunts, PLANTS a dull hook to the cheek to send her packing! OUCH! Lily goes flying off to the ropes in a HOUFF, but thankfully doesn’t have to endure much more abuse besides a step-in uppercut to the midsection that folds her over in half. Referee is soon having to pull Chalotra back off as the bell rings rapidly to end the sixth.

ROUND 7:
Looks like Lily’s fortunes are fading fast. She needs to pack a little more aggression into her resume if she wants to put Anya away this time. Problem is: Anya’s growling as she comes in hot instead, angry that her foe has lasted almost double the length in the ring compared to last time. She resumes her punishment with an early overhand swing to the head - luckily it's absorbed by Lily at the last moment, but it still sends the Vixen flailing backwards as though she got hit by an incoming train. Wincing her eyes, Lily tries her best to focus, weaving backwards as yet another hook almost takes her head off its hinges. The Vixen’s focused on survival this round, barely hitting back with any ammunition as she simply tries to stay at a good range. Anya scores as a result of overwhelming quantity, firing a late uppercut up into the gut, making Lily lurch forward with a grunt. That’s what happens when you’re too focused on protecting your head, folks. But a follow-up swing to the midsection misses as Collins leaps away on instinct. Last few seconds and both ladies have clearly run out of air, panting hard as Anya still tries to corner her battered foe against the ropes, though Lily’s been through worse to take the bait. Wide round to Anya, but it’s anyone’s game going into the final quarter...

ROUND 8:
Slow start as both fighters concentrate on catching their breaths. It’s the eighth round and it’s clear both girls hadn’t expected this fight to last this long. Anya herself looks out of her depth as she sucks in deep gulps of air, tentative steps taken out of her corner. Lily’s been here before, no doubt, but not against a Bantamweight fighter who’s knocked her out in four rounds before. Here we go with the initial CLASH as both Collins and Chalotra land a blow simultaneously to each other’s face, continuing to rock shots to the head in tandem, as they circle in the middle, alternating more punches to each other’s chest and tummy, each trying to push the other back... Lily’s definitely grown bolder towards the end of this fight as she employs counter-attacking software to edge out ahead! Anya’s glad to have her foe clearly in her sights but her swings are still NOT landing effectively, with Lily dodging and parrying her predictable attacks one-by-one to the side! By contrast, Lily racks up the points as she PUNTS the Brit’s head upwards with a low-hanging uppercut to the chin, which STUNS the big girl early in the wild melee. Subsequent hooks sent bashing across the face go unanswered as Chalotra gets steadily beaten backwards. Her back hits the ropes and suddenly, Collins has turned into the aggressor, snarling into the top of the actress’ head as she packs those leather gloves into the bigger girl’s body, elbows chugged in and out, in and out, till FINALLY, Anya SINKS down to her knees!! It’s the first KNOCKDOWN of the evening, folks, with Anya Chalotra left groaning, staying down on all fours throughout the rest of the ten count! Lily Collins scores her redemption in KO8 fashion!

Official Decision: Lily Collins defeats Anya Chalotra via KO8!

AFTER:
Big win for the #2 pound-for-pound fighter in the league tonight, with Collins proving her credentials by beating a bigger Bantamweight girl through a most grueling back-and-forth process! She’s still snarling down at her fallen adversary by the ropes, her chest heaving in and out even while spitting insults at Chalotra, before suddenly kneeling down by her side and delivering a couple more stiff punches down into her stunned face.

Lily gets pulled off almost immediately by the ring officials, so no post-match shenanigans to drill in her win this time, as much as Collins would like to do so. Chalotra has to be tended by the medical team as she’s left lying there, flat on her back, utterly spent after eight rounds of trying to put Lily into the ground again.

Who might be next on the Vixen’s hit-list?

“Holt. Once the blonde womans-up and gives me my rematch. Doesn’t even have to a title match. It’ll be fun to kick her ass for giggles. As you can see from the way Chalotra went down tonight, I have no problems beating girls double my size. And that goes the same for that fat-ass blonde.”
