BEFORE:
“This time, she’s not getting in my way. I’ve already lost two fights to her, and close ones at that. Williams ain’t stopping me from entering the Hall-of-Fame,” Megan says at the press conference, clearly a little salty from her past encounters with the illustrious Hall-of-Famer.

“Hmph. If you were worthy of the Hall, you wouldn’t even be in this position in the first place,” Michelle counters from across the table. “The reason you’ve never managed to defeat me is because I’m better. Pure and simple. And tonight will be no exception.”

Regardless of how tonight’s fight turns out, Fox already qualifies for the Hall, according to some colour commentators. That’s not stopping the Vixen from looking focused and determined, however, as she squares up with Williams at the podium. Both ladies are the same height and weight, the major difference being Michelle is six years older and has more than double the number of fights under her belt.

That doesn’t seem to faze Megan, however, despite her unsuccessful attempts to unseat the blonde from her pedestal. She crowds in close, both fists trained on William’s chin and that insufferable smirk on her face. Williams cool and calm, staring back with her lips continuing to spout insults that Fox will never be better than her.

“At least I beat Nessa,” Megan says, flashing back a knowing grin.

If there’s one moment during the press conference where the two ladies could possibly throw down and come to blows, it’s after those words were uttered from the tip of Megan’s tongue. That smirk immediately vanishes from Michelle’s face, replaced by a deep scowl as the blonde reaches up and grabs a fistful of Megan’s hair, tugging the Vixen’s head down to one side. Grunting but staying calm, Fox does the same, pulling on those platinum locks as both women pull each other’s faces in close enough to kiss.

“I’m gonna break you, Megan. This time, for good,” Williams hisses, before releasing her hold abruptly.

Megan gets some payback on the psychological front, leaving the press conference with a smirk of her own on her face. Fight night rolls around hours later and the Vixen is the first time to enter the arena, sporting a black sports bra with red outlines, short muay thai boxing shorts that shows off plenty of leg. Fox brandishing a pair of red gloves as she removes that flowy white shawl from her bare shoulders. Williams comes into the arena back to her full confidence, strutting down the ramp in a set of white lingerie bra and panties, pink gloves to round off that classy look.

Referee calls this match to order, getting the nod from both corners. There goes the bell and HERE WE GO with ten rounds of Flyweight action!

ROUND 1:
Ladies start off slow - no reason to go into overdrive for this fight, with the main stakes on hand being sheer pride rather than more titles or accolades. Fox takes her time as she circles and jabs, landing punches on Williams’ guard but at the same time, fully well of how she got dismantled by the legendary blonde the previous two times. This confidence is what’s making Michelle continue to grin as she holds a firm guard with her arms and absorbs the initial attacks, returning fire only sporadically to keep Megan at bay for now. The Consortium starlet looks more amused from the fact that her opponent is scared of her rather than focused on winning this fight herself, and the two actresses end up not scoring much by the end of the first three minutes.

ROUND 2:
More of the same as this time, it’s Fox who amps up the aggression but gets beaten back by the experienced blonde. Early wade in has Megan peppering the arms and body with fast combos, but she immediately takes a powerful shot to the middle of her guard, followed by Williams landing more leather on her cheek as the Vixen has to retreat. Pay-off not so worth it after all as Fox takes more damage than it’s worth, but she continues to force the exchange for the rest of the round, trying to push Williams back a couple of steps each time with fast hit-and-run tactics before a bigger swing or swish towards her face forces her to retreat instead. Close round swings back to Williams, who’s back to her cocky and loose stance in the final seconds of the round, after having re-established control.

ROUND 3:
Fox on the defensive as Williams suddenly comes in hot, the blonde fighter suddenly eager to show everyone what she’s capable of as she lands steady combos to Megan’s arms and body, pushing Fox back with one-two-three heavy bashes at a time. Fox grunting, suddenly forced into a vulnerable position as she takes another crackin' shot to the cheek, yet another bouncing off the side tummy as she’s forced to question her life choices. Fox gets put on the spot once the pressure is on, trying to counter and parry and weave but having trouble avoiding Michelle’s bursts of energy this early in the fight. The Vixen does land a couple of jabs to the face but for every punch landed, she takes three instead that are shoved into her nose and lips, with Williams cockily raising an arm at the sound of the bell, her assumptions validated that her opponent just ain’t at her level yet.

ROUND 4:
Williams presses in, eager to continue the full-on rout of the Vixen. An early combo smacked into the guard has Fox retreating as usual, till suddenly, out of the blue, a hook cashes in from the side as Fox halts her retreat and ROARS inwards to rip one anew! Ouch! Williams’ head turned to the side, her lips parted in shock, but another hook lands high on one of her raised arms, sending her stumbling off to one side. Fox growling as she charges, chasing after the blonde wonder with even more ammunition fired, but has to contend with a proud opponent who ALSO refuses to bow down so easily. The two ladies repeatedly CLASH in the center of the ring, getting too close for comfort before wildly exchanging gloves stuffed into the lips or wailed away at the sides of their ears. Fox however comes out on top, delivering a snap uppercut to the base of the chin, which rocks Williams back with another shout, and the blonde has no choice but to cover up till the bell to save her from potential embarrassment. Close round to Fox overall, and though both women got hurt in there, we’d bet they’re both wondering if all that abuse was worth it.

ROUND 5:
Chests puffed out as they come in once more, with mutual fists raised high, no longer smiling as they try and conserve their energy and focus. Michelle not f*cking around any longer as she blocks Megan’s initial flurry to her arms, takes precise shots back to the middle of the brunette’s nostrils and chest as a glimmer of hope is reignited for her to dominate the rest of this fight. Fox, however, has other plans, taking the stuffing to her face but then holds her ground, slams a hook into Williams’ body, another rockin’ into the arms in close quarters to make every advance of hers costly and painful, with Michelle eliciting grunts each time she attempts to push the Vixen back, instead gets folded over when a particularly nasty thump is buried into her midsection. The end result is too close to call, in our opinion, with both ladies now fully enthusiastic about hurting the other in the second half of this fight.

ROUND 6:
How much longer Fox can stand her ground, however, is debatable, what with Williams’ larger experience and hunger to win another title still driving her forward. Fox holds on for the first minute or so but Michelle appears to be shifting into a higher gear in the second-half of this fight, sailing in early and mixing up her combos with heavier hooks and crosses driven into Megan’s frame. Fox grunts as she gets caught by another swing to the top of her arms, powerless to do anything as a quick follow-up from Williams connects with her tummy. Megan tries to answer blow-for-blow right within the pocket, a hook of her own catching Williams on her side, but then, she takes a nasty SWIPE across her face, which almost SPINS her about on her feet there and then! UGHH! Fox is in danger going down as she wobbles to the side, spitting out excess liquid through her gumshield, and that’s the cue for WILLIAMS TO CHARGE! Blonde wonder taking no quarter now as she rushes in to POUND away on the brunette’s body and arms, leather gloves chugging away at her midsection and then breaking down her flimsy guard with each follow-up swing… Megan’s in trouble, driven across the ring and back, final PUNT up into her chin is calculated payback for Williams, who DRIVES the brunette onto her back with that third minute number! One hell of a KNOCKDOWN for Michelle Williams!

Reminiscent scene again as Fox gets LAID OUT on her back, her chest rising and falling as she shakes her head from side to side in shock. Williams back to that cocky smirk - she’s given it her all here, having expected this result from the very beginning. Even as she walks back to the neutral corner, Megan is slowly ungluing her back from the canvas, groaning as she wills herself back to her knees first, then to her shaky feet by the side of the ropes. Michelle isn’t looking too happy now that her old foe is back up and ready for more, though to be honest, Megan looks far from fresh, taking deep gasps of air even as she nods at the referee that she wants to continue.

ROUND 7:
Last quarter on the cards as Michelle tries to press her advantage, circling in fast with whatever energy she has left and initiating the first couple of pokes to the head. Fox stays away for the first minute, blocking and defending her head well enough. She needs to take control of the rest of this fight if she wants to stand a chance of winning here, and redeem her honour. Williams not looking too good herself, having expended her energy in the last round’s knockdown attempt, her chest heaving as all she aims to do is to keep Fox on the defensive. All of a sudden, however, her head gets thrown back by a lunging shot from Fox - it LANDS outta nowhere when Fox decided to leap in to counter! OUCH! Williams absolutely gobsmacked, her eyes wide open as her face gets turned to the side and upwards, that right uppercut landing outta the blue on the base of her chin! Fox has a chance here to make things right, storming in with a twinkle in her eye as she BLASTS the Hall-of-Famer back again with an overhand delivered to the forehead, further throwing Williams backwards in a hail of arms. Michelle hits the ropes and looks STUNNED for a moment - more than enough time for Megan to PIN her to the ropes with a final barrage of shots buried into her body, driving the air from her lungs, right before a tight hook ROCKS her clean to the face! AND DOWN SHE GOES!! Williams suffers a setback of her own as she collapses down by the ropes like her strings were cut! IS THIS IT??

Fox herded to a nearby corner, also breathing hard, as the referee starts the second count in the span of two rounds! Williams is trying to lift her chin from the hard floor, her eyes squeezed shut even as the rest of the arena tries to cheer her on and motivate her to get back up for more... The blonde fighter manages to get to all fours, but even with one arm clinging precariously onto the middle rope, she seems to lack the strength to straighten her legs! The referee hits the count of 10 and waves this fight off! It’s OVER in redemptive fashion!

Official Decision: Megan Fox defeats Michelle Williams via KO7!

AFTER:
Fox takes another step towards the Hall-of-Fame, and what a giant leap this victory was! The sultry brunette takes a couple of steps forward but then breaks down to her knees, a hard-fought win tonight after multiple tries and failures that makes this win all the sweeter.

Williams is still looking shocked by the result, barely sat up by the ropes, not sure whether to be happy for her former foe or be humble in loss. She’s forced to make that choice moments later when Fox waltzes over to her and surprisingly, offers her a helping hand to her feet. The blonde stares at the outstretched offer for a long moment, before finally deciding to accept the truce.

The ladies share inaudible words in a loose embrace, though the cameras catch that neither of them are smiling or entirely pleased - Megan that she’s taken this long to win against the blonde, and Williams not too happy that she’s fallen tonight. In either case, either of the two women are exhausted, already promising the other a fourth rematch in the future.

For now, there’s a healthy dose of respect earned between the pair, with Williams leaving the arena holding her head up high, not needing to justify another loss on her already impeccable resume, finally coming to terms that Fox might one day become her peer.
