ROBYN LAWLEY VS MANDY MOORE

Results: Lookout Writing: Archer

Robyn: 31 YO, 6’2 (1.87 m), 11-12-0, 11 KO since 2014, Sceej Boxing

Mandy: 37 YO, 5’10 (1.78 m), 31-41-0, 22 KO since 2004, Foxfire Boxing

Before: Big Aussie model Robyn has been floundering the last couple of years. She comes into this fight having lost her last nine fights. Now she faces veteran Mandy Moore, who has had struggles of her own having lost 3 of her last 4 fights.

“I am just out trying to do my best and get a win,” says Robyn. “I have a goof 4 inches of height on Mandy and I like to think I’m stronger, but she’s been around a lot lomger than I have. She’ll be a tricky one to beat, but I NEED to do it.”

“I realize I am a considerable physical disadvantage in this fight, but I think I’ve got the better set of fighting skills. That will make things even and get me the win. It’s been too long since my last one,” Mandy Moore says ruefully. “I NEED to win this fight!”

Neither fighter wants to waste much more time talking about a fight they both need to win. They next appear in the ring on Fight Night. Mandy Moore in white one piece swimsuit with black polka dots. White gloves and boots with black laces. Hair pulled back in a battle braid. Robyn in dark blue one piece swimsuit with a plunging neckline and a white belt-like strip at the waist. She wears blue gloves and boots (white laces). Hair is pulled back in a battle braid. Fighters listen quietly to ring instructions, crisply tap gloves and though to their corners. Faces are tense as both feel extra pressure to get the win in this bout. The bell rings…

R1: Robyn going right at Mandy, bringing in the big punches to smite the smaller woman to the head and body. Mandy trying to evade these heavy punches and strike back, but Robyn’s laying on the leather and Mandy is soon just struggling to avoid being overwhelmed. Mandy scooting backwards, trying to circle away from Robyn, but Robyn staying with her most of the time and whacking away steadily. Mandy is able to protect her head, but torso and flanks are getting pounded hard to the bell. Robyn Lawley wins round wide.

R2: Robyn continues her offensive in the second round of the bout. Now Mandy is getting whacked hard to the belly and ribs. Mandy struggling to get some return punches into Robyn, but these efforts don’t seem to be slowing Robyn down. Now Robyn starts to cut off the ring and drive Mandy towards the ropes. Desperate duel as Mandy struggles to avoid the strands as Robyn is relentless in using body punching to drive Mandy back. Mandy finally forced into the ropes, but she has her face in gloves and is hunched up to reduce target areas. More importantly, she has used up so much time that Robyn has barely started when the bell sounds. Robyn looking vexed as she turns to her corner. Mandy;s face shows relief eventhough she has lost the round wide.

R3: Mandy Moore strikes back! Rather than just be Robyn Lawley’s punching bag for another round, Mandy charges forward. Robyn looks startled and then takes a full-power Mandy Moore right to the jaw! Robyn is staggered! Now Mandy clips Robyn to the jaw. Crowd roars in excitement as Robyn stumbles back, trying to clear her head as Mandy presses forward. Robyn brings Mandy’s charge to a sudden halt by smashing her in the face with a overhand right! Mandy on her heels, bleeding from the nose and suddenly in trouble again! Robyn bow counterattacks with shots to the sides of Mandy’s head. Mandy banged up, but then rips an uppercut into Robyn’s chin that knocks the bigger woman back. Now Mandy hammers at Robyn to those big breasts and Robyn fights back with counters to Mandy’s smaller rack. Crowd is thrilled at this blazing hot exchange that rages down to the bell. Referee has to jump between the two and Mandy and Robyn stand glaring at each other breathing hard as sweat (and in Mandys case, blood) trickles down their faces. Referee has to remind them to go to their corners. Intense round that Mandy Moore manages to win a close one.

R4: Mandy and Robyn get right back at it. Mandy again risking going up close and personal with the bigger Robyn as she slams home the body punches. Robyn looking cramped as she responds to this constant banging to her breasts, stomach and rib cage, but she is countering steadily as she smites Mandy’s smaller frame. Mandy not backing away, she just keeps firing in the rights and lefts while absorbing Robyn’s answering body shots. Crowd is loving this battle and cheer the fighters on to the bell. This time they step away and after exchanging scowls, Mandy and Robyn go to their corners. The judges rule this was another close round, but again Mandy Moore emerges the winner.

R5: Round begins and crowd is expecting to see another close-in body punching battle, but Mandy Moore has other ideas. Mandy races out of her corner and strikes with her big right hand into Robyn Lawley’s jaw. Tactic works again! Robyn is staggered as her head whips around and this time Mandy brings in a big left hand to swivel Robyn’s head in the opposite direction. Robyn is lurching back on trembling legs as now Mandy smashes in two successive uppercuts to Robyn’s chin. Robyn falls back against the ropes as Mandy swarms in with punches working over that big Lawley torso. Robyn managing to protect her head and takes a seat on the ropes to help stay on her feet as Mandy blazes away to the body. Crowd is on its feet hoping Mandy can cut the big woman down. Robyn shuddering and writhing under the leather storm but is stil standing at the bell. Mandy wipes her brow with her forearm and has a look of satisfaction as she sees a dazed Robyn leave the ropes and moves slowly passed her towards her corner. Mandy Moore wins round wide!

R6: Hard work in the Sceej corner to get the battered Robyn out for new round. Mandy sitting on her stool looking eager to get back at the opponent she’s sure she’s weakened. Bell ring and Mandy comes bounding out. Robyn moves out more slowly, but she is ready when Mandy goes after her to the head again. Robyn blocking these shots, Mandy circling, looking for a opening, but Robyn’s defenses hold. Mandy looks about to come charging in when Robyn suddenly attacks first. Robyn ducks down and then shoots up with an uppercut that CRASHES in under Mandy’s chin. Mandy REELS back and Robyn strikes with two more BIG uppies! Mandy’s right foot comes off the canvas AND DOWN GOES MANDY! Mandy SLAMS onto her back and lies in a crumpled heap. Robyn glaring down, but then quickly marches to the neutral corner. Referee moves in to count as Mandy struggles to rise. Mandy trying to get up, but she can only push up on one arm and look around in despair.

“EIGHT!...NINE!...TEN!...YOU’RE OUT!” The referee cries.

THE WINNER: ROBYN LAWLEY DEFEATS MANDY MOORE KO6!

After: Robyn Lawley literally leaps for joy at FINALLY breaking her losing streak, She shares her excitement with her corner crew then has her gloves removed. Robyn crosses the ring and hauls a still woozy Mandy Moore to her feet.

“I was going to take you on a Walk, but this is a Special Win for me. I have another idea!” Robyn says and slings Mandy over her right shoulder like a sack of potatoes. She gives Mandy’s bottom a smack. “Let’s go!”

So Robyn walks the perimeter of the ring. Stopping now and then to pose front and back with the hapless Mandy. Mandy is increasingly agitated at this, but Robyn keeps her under control with more spanks to the bottom. Robyn returns Mandy to her corner and pats her on her bruised cheek.

“Thanks for helping me break my losing streak. Too bad yours just got longer,” Robyn taunts, enjoying herself.

“Go knockout yourself out!” Is one of the more printable replies from the enraged Mandy, but Robyn just laughs and struts away.

That was quite a fight. Just when it looked like Mandy Moore was about to pull off an upset, Robyn Lawley knocked her lights out. Probably not a big surprise, Robyn was the bigger woman, after all, and that undoubtedly helped her survive the pounding she took in R5. Very happy win for Robyn, but a bitter disappointment for Mandy. Mandy seemed close to victory, only to have it snatched away and hand her a particularly humiliating loss. Observers left wondering what is next for these two? Can Robyn build on this victory. We’ll just have to wait and see.
