BEFORE: "If I'm honest?" Adrianne says when asked to assess Odette in prefight. "I think she's a little over-rated. I mean - she's done great, had a great year, beaten some good fighters - but I think sometimes the ratings rush to judgement on girls. She got stopped by Olivia Munn, you know - and if you look at Yustman, she's VERY slender and willowy. I know I'm going body on that and I honestly don't see what's going to hold her up over the long haul." Yustman peeved, smoothing long brown hair behind an ear with an irritated gesture at podium. "Television and bitterness go hand in hand," Yustman snipes, causing murmurs. "Pallicki's been banged up this year, knocked around - I mean, she talks about Munn, but Adrianne's seen more canvas than Picasso, you know what I'm saying? I think she's trying really hard to hold her ground with Jenny and Gena in that stable, and she's just not tuff like that. I'll stitch her up, show her some class and beat her the way movie stars have been beating TV girls for decades." Pallicki forcibly restrained by stablemates as Yustman sashays from podium. Odette in white cotton tank and panties; white gloves; long brown hair straight, smooth behind ears. Pallicki in grey cotton tank and panties; black gloves; sassy blonde tousle. When asked to touch 'em up, Adrianne offers Odette a healthy two-handed shove in the chest: hard feelings boiling over from unexpected meanspirited pre-fight conferences.

During R1: Adrianne methodically stalking Odette's body - stepping-to, sweeping the right hand to flank; sweeping the wide left to ribs, landing heavy. Odette loping counter-clockwise, limiting Pallicki to one or two touches, using the ring: brunette siting in her jab on Adrianne's face - occasionally planting on left (lead) leg to walk AP onto a rigid left uppercut to sternum. Circular, tactical boxing: drawn round as both girls settle in.

R2,3: Odette continues circular rotations, changing directions and being supple-smooth with pivots, steps and sidesteps. Yustman fighting in forward aspect - right heel up off canvas, weight on left leg - long jab pulsing out long n' straight; selective right hands slinging off the shoulder. Adrianne rebuked, kept outside, routinely struck about her brows or cheekbones. Pallicki unfazed, but she's frequently pre-empted or startled when struck - allowing Yustman to pivot-escape. Adrianne stubbornly coming forward, licking at Odette's ribs whenever possible: Yustman's legs, ring generalship carry the rounds as AP cooperates.

R4: Adrianne jabs the jabber, messing with Odette's timing, backing her to ropes. Pallicki able to deploy swinging, batting, tic-toc rights and lefts to flanks/ribs this round - really pounding away as Odette shows face-in-gloves at times. Yustman grimacing, well-struck to willowy torso: she's taking five and six shivering blows, then sliding away or looking to clinch. Pallicki rough in the clinches, throwing shoulders at Odette's chest or mouth; bodying Odette into ropes...Adrianne yanking arms free, keeping her head on Yustman while swinging away at body at every opportunity. Discouraging stuff from Odette: she's blinking rapidly, lips quivering at bell; Pallicki beaming, knows she got good work done in the fourth.

R5: Odette spear-pokes Adrianne's nose/face, spreading blonde out and lining her up for a series of slinging right hands upside the head. Pallicki taking well, but clouted onto her heels: she's getting pasted, not answering back. Odette pivoting clockwise around the jab - complimenting long right hands with that jagged, short left uppercut to Adrianne's body whenever Pallicki walks in. Willowy suppressive fire keeps AP from getting off: shutout round brings pretty smile to Yustman's face as she forces eye contact at bell.

R6: Adrianne jabbing just enough - stepping inside Yustman's reach to bang that rib cage tic-toc left/rights. Odette grimacing, giving ground: Pallicki hounds her to ropes. More body work shells Odette, momentarily freezing her: Pallicki scores a stout left hook off her right plant leg to Odette's chin, draping blinking brunette on ropes. Overhand right clouts against Odette's left eye, tossing her head: she's hurt, covering up face-in-gloves! Pallicki pushing off, grinning as she gets back to body: blonde girl leaning forward, unleashing bandy-limbed wallop to svelte brunette flanks. Odette sobbing aloud, long legs trembling: she's clinching, blinking away tears, trying to bog Adrianne down. Pallicki bodying Odette into ropes, wriggling in the graps, pushing, bumping, jostling, tousle-scrubbing - anything to get free. Ref issuing breaks and warning to over-exuberant blonde: Pallicki just wading back in, looking to strap lanky to Odette's waist. Bell: Pallicki pushes up off rumpled Odette; blonde's eyes triumphant as she looks Yustman over. Adrianne so brazen with her scrutiny, that Odette bleats "Stop!" bringing in the ref to what - give Adrianne a warning for 'looking'?

R7: More of a free-swinging rhythm - Adrianne continuing to bore-in, leaning with forehead against Odette's guard while swinging away free-and-heavy to body. Odette pushing off, stepping-right, then looking to twist-torso to swipe tight licks across Pallicki's front - kind of a Bronco Mckart look as Yustman turns gangly slugger. Both girls rocked: Pallicki shaking Odette up when body-work sets up ringing hook to chin. Yustman staggered, but firming to hurt Adrianne later on with lead right/sliding hook combos. Down the stretch, Odette wins respect to Adrianne's body - dipping forward, popping hips-right and rip-snatching lanky hooks off blonde paunch. Rangy licks bunch Adrianne up, get her grunting: Odette definitely stems blonde tide this round.

R8: Adrianne shakes off Odette's whip-snatch licks, wades in, leans forward, bats away to flanks. Gorgeous, hungry stuff - blonde's limbs shivering on contact when punches bounce off Odette's chassis. Yustman hounded to ropes - she's snivelling with hurt, keeping elbows in, eyes shining with resentment. Pallicki in hot pursuit - working the body with batting strokes, then abruptly coming up top to clap Odette upside the head. Odette punching in spots; clinching for breaks off the ropes: ref constantly pulling at Yustman's arms, pushing Adrianne back as Pallicki smears Odette along ropes.

R9: Odette's piercing jab from forward-aspect stance lines Pallicki up for slinging rights: Adrianne well-smote to chin, forced to back off. Yustman stalking cautiously, ribs glowing pink: she's not anxious to close unless she can jab Adrianne into compliance first. Stitching work from Yustman - jab/pivot-left routine keeping Pallicki at bay; right hands spooking Adrianne; left uppercuts underneath continuing to seek sweet-spots around the Pallicki solar plexus. Bell: Adrianne's nose bleeding, left eye starting to swell; Yustman makes note of these successes with brazen pride in flashing eyes, nearly gaze-taunting Adrianne into a tantrum. Pallicki badly flustered on her stool, snarling "I HATE her," as trainer's trying to work on her.

R10: Yustman wilting away from intense Pallicki body-pounding midring: Odette visibly distressed, pressing elbows tight against ribs as she fades to ropes. Pallicki hopping-to, strapping in the wide right hand to Odette's flank to re-initiate the beating. Yustman grimacing, slumping against ropes face-in-gloves: Adrianne sheeting away, baring her teeth. RIGHT UPPERCUT, ADRIANNE! Pallicki suddenly off the body, arching her back to split Odette's mitts: Yustman's head flops back from her guard, eyes rolling back into her head, body relaxing. Yustman's hands up, but limp...ADRIANNE'S SLAMMING THROUGH! Pallicki POUNDING at Odette, unleashing hell: blonde hacking right hands down onto Odette's skull; carving lefts up and across face. Yustman sliding to her right, glassy eyes staring, lips parted in stupor. Adrianne stepping-with, hammering away - blonde girl's body electric with violence, working overhand rights in tandem with uppercutting lefts and ODETTE GOES DOWN! Slow, wilting descent - Odette's head lolling as she slides off ropes, sprawling to her right side, then rolling to her back, hands above head. Adrianne bellowing down...ref bodying her back: Yustman sighing, dark lashes fluttering as she lies in rubble parallel to ropes. It's OVER: bludgeoning KO10, Adrianne Pallicki!

After: Odette weepy when brought around, cowering in her corner when Pallicki barges in, shouting I-told-you-so's until officials push her back. Huge win for Adrianne puts her back on track as she re-establishes hard-punching ingenue status. "I wanted the body, and I took it!" Adrianne crows in postfight. "Odette really riled me up with her attitude you know? Treating me like some insignificant little nothing - I HAD to stop this woman - I just had to. I kept marching on her torso - even when she was catching me, I always came forward, and I truly believe I broke her down mentally with my determination. She was really used up by the time I caught her - it was the body work that beat her: I just went to her chin to make sure she finished up on her back!"
