BEFORE: All British clash up next as Emily Blunt tries to score back-to-back wins for the first time since 2014 at the expense of notorious Geordie operator Vicky Pattison. No love lost between the two as Vicky wants to make the most of this opportunity and claims she's the best British import since Kate Beckinsale which is a bold statement and she's lucky enough Jenny McCarthy didn't hear that or else we'd have another challenge lined up already!

Emily Blunt wears a navy blue crop top, matching hip-huggers & silver gloves. Long dark brown hair wrapped in a loose bun at the back of her head. Vicky Pattison wears a black ctop top with white trim, matching hip-huggers & red gloves. Long dark brown hair tied in a high ponytail. The fight is scheduled for ten rounds in the bantamweight division.

Round 1:
Vicky lights it up from the front and gashes the older brunette from both flanks while Emily struggles to adapt to the high-tempo opening and leaks several crisp punches during the first minute of the bout. She finds a single-hand response that knocks Pattison back... for like five seconds before the Geordie order is resumed and Emily has to seek respite in mid-distance. The otherwise one-sided slugging continues until Blunt runs out of real estate and has to soak up more of the jabbing heat with Pattison clocking her rival from both flanks again. Emily applies a late clinch to halt the younger brunette's progress but she looked awfully rusty here so it's no wonder FMF coach Christy Hemme is not happy at the bell.

Rounds 2 & 3:
Emily fires back from close range to prevents further damage and she finds a smart way to thump Vicky in the chest that appears to be a reliable tactics with the Geordie woman grinding to a halt and barking in anger when she gets tagged in the chest. Emily works downstairs to pummel the exposed midriff as well and stucks several harpoons around the elbows to muscle Pattison out of her comfort zone. The fight slows down but Emily finds her niche to shut the aggressive opponent out and nobody will complain over the odd jug shot as long as both women are committed to their attacks. Emily edges both rounds on points even though she hasn't really hurt the Geordie brunette who argues with her staff during the interval and is promptly put down by the "Kate Beckinsale would have done it better" comment.

Round 4:
Vicky slugs her way out of another phone booth action and cranks up the head-hunting drives to stuff Emily on her heels in the center of the ring. She drops a swift uppercut double on the chest to fold the older brunette into quiet spasms before a scything left cross sends her stumbling back on the ropes outright. Ugh! Emily sinks in a dangerous spot right there and gets whacked from each side as Vicky squares up to her so much she almost shoves her through the ropes! One-way traffic in the final minute where Pattison resumes the dominant position and rains punches on the subdued rival until the ref pulls her back at the last moment. Ugh! That was the bell which the Geordie stunner claims didn't ring! Oh, well...

Round 5:
Emily is slow to get up and suddenly leaks more hard shots up the middle as Vicky throttles her into a standstill in the center of the ring before a booming right cross finds the nose moments later... Blunt folds forward with her arms by her chest so Vicky has a free shot to SEND HER DOWN FOR THE COUNT! A quick left hook on the ear was enough to make that happen. Emily makes a labored recovery here and eventually gets up at eight however she's running on fumes already and Vicky clatters into her moments later again. She pounds the ailing veteran back to the ropes and rips two hard shots on the nose before a looping left hand on the ear makes Blunt cry out in pain. Uh-oh! This could get ugly fast and the ref STEPS IN to prevent further damage! TKO5 Vicky Pattison!!!

AFTER: It appears that Emily might be past her prime at age 39 to make a generous review of this bout and Vicky just exposed the ugly truth. Is that good enough to impress Kate Beckinsale or Jenny McCarthy though? The Geordie stunner claims she wants to take both these scalps sooner rather than later and won't take "no" for an answer! Over to you, Mac!
