Before:

Two top lightweights meet as the two best brunette models in the division go head to head in the ring as Front Street’s Taylor Hill takes on Fates’s Emily DiDonato. The press is buzzing about this fight, calling for the winner to receive a chance for the title. The two brunette models step into the press conference, cameras flashing as the press takes photos.

Emily picks up her mic first, “Taylor has really been a tough fighter, winning the lightweight title and taking names. She is going to be a force in the FCBA for a long time, and I am excited to finally get in the ring with her.” Emily pauses, “It is going to be a battle tonight, and I am going to bring it.”

Taylor smiles, “Thanks for the kind words. DiDo has been a force in the FCBA too. She is one of the top pound for pound fighters for a reason and isn’t afraid of taking on the welterweights. But only one of us can win tonight, and I don’t intend on losing.”

Emily is the first girl to make her way to the ring, the Fates girl wearing a purple bikini set with matching gloves, her hair up in a bun for the fight. Taylor steps out a few seconds later, the younger brunette wearing a blue sports bra and matching trunks with white gloves. The two girls thunk gloves and the ref calls for the bell and off we go for ten rounds of lightweight action.

Round 1:
The two brunette models cautiously exit their corners, both girls fully aware the other is about the same size, packs a hefty punch and is a former lightweight champion. The first minute consists of the two girls trading jabs, and Taylor takes the lead early. Hill lands a right strike to DiDonato’s face and the Fates girl clinches with the younger model. The ref separates the two and Hill goes for another right – and Emily snaps Taylor’s head back with a left straight. Taylor gets her gloves up to block the follow up and blocks Emily’s right, but the Sports Illustrated girl plows leather into the Victoria’s Secret model’s midriff. DiDo hammers Hill into the ropes and now it is Hill who clinches for a break. The ref pulls the two apart and they start circling each other, trading jabs to the bell.

Round 2:
Both girls quickly exit their corners and start circling each other at a quick pace, trading jabs and as they feint at each other. Hill bobs right and sticks DiDonato with a left to her mouth and follows up with a right into her ribs. Emily winces and gets her guard up, but Taylor already is pounding her body. Hill works DiDonato’s flanks and the older model clinches as she’s forced back in the ring. The ref steps in and pulls the two girls apart and they start circling again. Emily scores the first clean strike after the break and she shoots out a follow up that clips off of Taylor’s ear. The Front Street girl slams a left back into Emily’s face and starts to work the older model back again. Emily covering her head but Taylor clearly working her body to the bell, and the two girls are all tied on points after two rounds.

Round 3:
The third round begins with the same quick circling as the second, both burnettes looking to press the tempo against her opponent. Hill again lands the first clear strike and works DiDo back with precise strikes around her guard. Emily retreats further and Taylor closes the distance as Emily plants her feet. DiDonato connects with a right into Hill’s midriff and a look of pain flashes across the younger girl’s face. Hill clinches before the shorter model can land more blows into her body. The ref gives the break then the two girls get back into the action. Emily looking to work in close but Taylor does an expert job keeping the Fates girl at a distance and she works over the older model’s body, beating a bruise into her right ribs. DiDo trading back, but Hill getting the better end of the trades as the third comes to a close.

Round 4:
Both brunette beauties still with plenty of energy and they charge out of their corners, ditching the circling and instantly trading blows. Hill yet again lands the first strike but DiDonato counters with a right haymaker that knocks the younger girl back as the Fates girl shows off her power. It’s all Emily as Taylor covers up and the older girl is returning the favor from the earlier rounds, Emily working Taylor’s ribs and midriff as she works in from closer range. Hill drops back and shoots out a left that misses DiDo’s head and follows up with a right into DiDonato’s chest, but Emily snaps Taylor’s head back with a right and the younger girl clinches. Hill keeps her distance after the break as DiDonato chases after her. Hill lands a pair of strikes as the round ends, but DiDonato takes the round on points.

Round 5:
DiDo and Hill have plenty of energy heading into the fifth, and the two girls engage in a trade of lefts and rights. Taylor again getting the better end of the early trades, and the younger model lands a left square into Emily’s face, busting open the older girl’s lip. DiDonato goes for the clinch but Hill squirms away to land a short right into the smaller girl’s midriff, but DiDo locks in the clinch for the break. Taylor confident now that she’s drawn blood and fires off a pair of haymakers at Emily’s head – but nobody is home as Emily ducks and nearly takes Taylor’s head off with a right. DiDonato spins Hill’s head back with a left and Taylor is covering up and on comes Emily! The Goshen Goddess shows off her power as she crushes leather into Taylor’s body, and the bigger girl clinches and holds on for dear life. The ref gives the break, but the bigger girl is moving noticeably slower after the exchange. Emily can’t finish her off by the bell, but the Fates girl may have done what she needed to win.

Round 6:
DiDonato charges out of her corner, determined to end the fight. Emily throws a barrage of punches into Hill’s body, and a right into her midriff draws a gasp out of the younger brunette! Taylor’s guard flares open and Emily drives one, two, three punches straight into Taylor’s face and down goes Hill! DiDonato quickly goes to the corner while the ref counts out. Hill on all fours, shaking her head as the ref counts out six. The Front Street corner is screaming at the model to get up, and Hill beats the count. The ref gives her the mandatory and waves Emily back in.

Emily looks to finish off Taylor and the older girl works the younger model into the ropes. Emily tees off on Taylor’s ribs as the younger girl goes for the quick clinch and forces a break. DiDonato surges forward – and gets rocked by a left from Hill that nearly takes off her head! DiDonato goes wobbly butt as Hill connects with an absolute haymaker and on comes Hill! Taylor now returning the damage from before and pounding Emily’s body as the older girl gets her gloves up. Hill shifts her focus and splits DiDonato’s gloves with a straight left that leaves the Fates girl open for a right-left uppercut combo that drops her to the canvas! Now it is Hill who goes off to the corner as now the Fates corner is screaming for their fighter to get up. Emily gets her arms underneath her and pushes herself to all fours – but the ref is already at the count of seven. DiDonato gets to one knee, and pushes herself up and she’s wobbly – but she’s too late – the ref reaches ten before DiDonato gets up and your winner by KO6, Taylor Hill!

After:
Emily swaying unsteadily as she does not realize she’s lost, let alone where she is. Taylor Hill with one of her most impressive wins in a comeback sixth round, and the younger brunette with a statement victory as she mounts the ringpost and gets the cheers of the crowd. DiDonato meanwhile is helped to a stool, the older brunette clearly having trouble keeping track of where she is despite her valiant effort to beat the count. Hill comes over to embrace DiDo after the fight, and the two girls embrace to the cheers of the crowd.

“Emily is a heck of a fighter,” Taylor says after the fight, “But I was done losing to Fates girls. I lost to Behati when she was at Fates. I lost to Taylor. I beat Blake, but not when she was at Fates. Tonight, I showed that I can beat the best in the FCBA. Front Street may not have been planning for me to make a title run, but after a fight like tonight, who knows?”

DiDonato makes her way into the press conference later, the model better able to maintain her balance on her feet. The brunette sighs as she picks up the mic, having gone a long time without a loss like this. “It’s tough to lose, especially when I thought I had Taylor right where I wanted her,” a tear streaks down Emily’s face, “I will bounce back and I will get a rematch with her. That is a promise.”

A tough loss for Emily, but with the win, Taylor Hill catapults herself into the title picture.
