BEFORE:
“I’m taking Kiernan pretty seriously, even though her record is not really impressive…” Maddie says first during the earlier press session. “She's coming off of two straight wins and she's more experienced than me. However...I'm pretty sure I'll be just too much for her. I've got the size and length, I've got the talent and I've got the spunk. Not to mention, excellent trainers. My goal is to win all 5 of my developmental contract fights and show Carmen she was right about me, and win is exactly what I'm going to do tonight. Shipka can try to stop me, but she'll just get knocked the f*ck out. Sorry not sorry!" the young blonde ends with a smirk.

Ziegler’s third contest in official PPV waters, and it’s also her third fight under that aforementioned Dollhouse developmental contract, and already, the American youngster is speaking with the poise and attitude of a Dollhouse veteran. Whether she’s a good enough fit for the roster will depend on how she performs in the last three fights of her contract, though…

Shipka, on the other hand, has had recent successes of her own at the start of this year, having knocked Emilia Clarke out in just under five rounds, and of course, immediately saying yes when the Free Punchers came calling. “I don’t know what else to tell you,” Shipka says. “I’m fighting fit and have never been in a better place for my boxing career. I feel like I can take down anybody in this division right now, much less a complete rookie like Maddie. If she thinks she’ll just waltz in there and get the win handed to her, she’s in for a hell of a long night.”

Ladies square off at the podium and Maddie and there doesn’t seem to be any love lost between these two as they b*tch-stare each other down in front of the flashing cameras. Ziegler’s height advantage though makes the staredown almost comical in nature, with Kiernan staring defiantly up into Maddie’s face, the younger blonde simply looking down at her with her now signature smug expression.

Fight night hours later sees the fans up on their seats as Ziegler’s music hits the airwaves. The dancer may only be entering her fourth fight here in the FCBA but she’s definitely accrued a loyal following from her earlier work and social media presence. Ziegler smiles widely as she struts out through the curtains, waving her white gloves left and right to her cheering fans. The Dollhouse prospect is wearing a neon-blue sports bra and yellow short tights, flaunting her perfect figure as she proudly makes her way to the ring accompanied by head coach Kristiana Loken and big-boss Carmen Electra. Maddie takes her place in her corner and begins stretching and jumping up and down in place to warm herself for the contest ahead as she awaits her opponent.

Kiernan’s gone for something a little less flashy: a black sports bra and white long tights. She’s wearing black gloves for tonight’s contest, as she too makes her way to the ring with a sly expression, her smaller yet toned frame is looking primed for a fight with her muscular AMD-caliber abs demanding most of the attention, surely making every woman watching envious, perhaps even Ziegler herself!

In the ring, Shipka takes her time in her corner before the referee gets the signal to start from both fighters, and with a wave of his hand, HERE WE GO with ten rounds of Flyweight action!

ROUND 1:
Maddie rocking a calm and steady approach that’s unusual for most people in her generation or class. As well as being compared to most of her hotheaded future colleagues, the young American blonde is keeping her distance at the start of this match, fending off some of Shipka’s attacks with firm forearms and some spritely footwork. Shipka pounces on what she deems as Maddie’s hesitance and fear, however, suddenly beginning to rack up points for herself as she lands another crisp combo into Maddie’s face to push the bigger girl back. Shipka’s literally punching above her weight here, growing in confidence by the minute as she peppers and hounds the newcomer to the bell. Not sure what went wrong here for Maddie’s second outing, but we’d suspect it may be Dollhouse management telling the newcomer to take it easy and take it slow, and Maddie moving more deliberately and wanting to appease her future bosses, but at the risk of losing the first round by a wide margin. Let’s see if the dancer can adapt going forward?

ROUND 2:
Kiernan hasn’t had a much busier fight schedule these days, but she’s easily running rings around the bigger, bulkier blonde. She continues to land jab combos all over Maddie’s frame, once or twice stunning her above the eye or catching her flush on the cheek. Maddie, however, is beginning to unleash her own power, firing back with big hands that slam into Kiernan’s arms to drive her back from whence she came, when they do land. Those straight crosses aren’t all being counted by the judges, of course, but they do a good job of making Shipka think twice about rushing in towards the last minute, as any one of those killer hooks landing means it’s night-night for the smaller woman. Even to the final minute, Shipka is still pestering Maddie to the head with combos, and she’s still a little too fresh and fast to allow Maddie to land her mitts back on her for now. Closer round overall, but Ziegler needs to adjust soon, and adjust big, if she wishes to turn this fight around.

ROUND 3:
And Maddie’s unleashed! Shipka looks on, stunned at first, as the first couple of punches hit home to her face to do significant damage, as seen by the blonde’s shocked expression when her head is thrown back. First minute and Maddie’s already throwing caution to the wind and bearing down, looking eager to throw hands with her foe. Shipka of course isn’t giving ground that easily, wading in at first and also wailing away on Ziegler’s body and arms as well, and the two women stay at close range for the first half here, just busy ramming punches into each other silly! Maddie finally realises that she needs to seize the ground for herself and that no one else is going to hand her the points. She takes some damage to her face, her head getting shoved stiffly to the side more than once or twice, but does a HELL of a lot more punishment to Shipka in return, her longer reach helping her BASH the smaller blonde’s head with a left-right combo before snapping an uppercut into the chin and shoving another fist into the American blonde’s iron body towards the end. FINALLY, Ziegler manages to turn this fight around by taking the first round of this contest! Can she maintain this momentum, though?

ROUND 4:
Kiernan looks a little shaken as the bell kicks off for the fourth, this time choosing to stay at a distance and looking a little wary of Maddie’s power. Ziegler on the other hand finally finds her winning combination, now playing it more aggressively as she pressures Shipka back with punches, sudden swings and more rabid combos. Shipka’s doing her best to keep away and both her arms up and over her face, but an errant right hand from Ziegler blasts her defences clear out of the water, driving her back a couple of steps. And the hits from Maddie just keep coming! She rushes in to fill the space, not giving the American blonde any breathing room! Kiernan’s getting dominated in there, barely getting in any offense as she takes another stiff hit to the forehead, and another hook almost landing clean to the face, as she spins one time from the impact before her back hits the ropes! Well, at least she’s still standing!! Not for long, though… Maddie’s already barreling inwards, slamming more hooks in and out, like an inescapable torrent, as the youngster catches her opponent with several blows to the body before a final kiss across the chin sends Shipka REELING sideways and down!! And it’s a KNOCKDOWN for Maddie Ziegler, and an early one at that! Shipka looks completely knocked out on the canvas, breathing hard with her eyes squeezed shut, just lying there by the ropes! The referee runs through the whole ten counts but it still ain’t no use! This fight is OVER!

Official Decision: Maddie Ziegler defeats Kiernan Shipka via KO4!

AFTER:
Another impressive win for the sensational young dancer as she once again dispatches her opposition in quick fashion, taking Shipka down and out in the 4th. This is Ziegler’s third victim now and none of them have managed to last more than 4 rounds against the ruthless Dollhouse prospect who’s now leaning casually against her corner post, a smirk on her face as she high fives her team around her before hopping gracefully to the middle of the ring and striking a dance pose, getting her hand lifted by the referee - a big proud grin on her face as she basks in the cheers of the crowd, something she’s surely getting used to.

Except for a few light bruises on her face, the victorious blonde is looking pristine and fresh after an impressive win tonight as she proceeds to bow to the fans in the center of the ring before taking a quick glance at her fallen opponent, chuckling to herself before turning away and making her exit, leaving Kiernan in ruins behind her as the medical team attempts to help the groggy Free Puncher to a sitting position.

On her way out of the arena, Maddie is stopped by reporters and asked to say a few words about tonight’s fight.

“I mean….I respect Kiernan’s work in there, she did her best and all…but, no offense - I kinda barely broke a sweat…?” Ziegler chuckles. “My goal is to become the best Dollhouse flyweight of all time and win the title, so… I guess when these girls eventually see me at the top they won’t feel that bad about losing to me early. Right?” The victorious teen smirks before turning around to continue her victory march towards the backstage followed behind by a proud Carmen Electra and the Dollhouse team.
