Boxing After Dark

Before: Alba changing gears, fighting in a smaller venue, hoping to find that taste of greatness she had pre-Dushku . Dash (black girl in “Clueless” TV show) an overlooked fighter with decent skills and good wheels--she’s expected to go rounds, force Alba to execute. During instructions, girls stand haughtily in front of one another, big soft sweatshirts over panties, pale blue for Stacey, red for Jessica. For fighting: red tankini-style lingerie for Alba, pale blue bra and panties for Stacey.

During R1: Nice brisk pace as Alba marches brazenly forward, looking to set up her hook with lead right hands, Dash showing a zesty jab continually spoils Jessica’s plans, and nimble footwork from Stacey sees her pivot around and turn Alba effectively to win a close round.

R2: Move sharp, crisp punching from both women, both women mixing it up head and body, but Dash is utilizing more of the playbook. Alba showing no respect comes in straight, refusing to be fazed by Dash’s clean conn3ects, but Stacey’s upper body movement is letting her win the exchanges. She’ll lay over on one side as Alba gets off, then slash away at Jessica to lay over on the other side as Alba works primarily up he gut.

R3: Dash with a shocking burst of straight lefts and rights up the middle sets Alba on her heels and Jessica goes wobbly butt to open the round,. Sullen, Alba bends forward, gloves at her temples and Stacey goes to work with clever combinations and thudding work to either side of the rib cage. Typically, Stacey will walk Jessica into shots, gutting Alba with a pair of lefts and rights t the body, and as Jessica poses, Dash will dig in another 2 or even 3 shots before Alba sluggishly responds, Dash outboxing and outhunting her girl through 3--Alba looking a little worked over, argumentative on her stool during the break.

R4: Angry Alba comes out storming to the body and has Dash crumpling early from thudding hooks to the short rib, nice first minute for alba as she punishes a swooning Stacey on the topes, but midway through, a crisp exchange of lefts and rights in close sees Alba’s chin tagged over and over again and ALBA IS HURT! Dash backs Jessica up with a series if payback hooks to the pit of the stomach and Alba’s clinching, all messed up inside. Dash strong the rest of the way, touching Alba in behind either elbow, stepping back to walk the brunette onto the right uppercut to the chin, and walking Alba around when the two fall in.

R5: They SLAM away midring. Jessica loosening and getting whip action I nto her punches, but Dash is still the boss. Stacey bobbing side to side, stepping in and out, getting Alba to walk into right hands straight or uppercutted to the mouth--Jessica’s busting up and looking glassy eyed. Counterpunching really has Alba flustered--pretty face shows the hurt and confusion as she is continually picked up and cashed in by Dash’s nifty shots. Furious back and forth to end the round brings the crowd to a roar--but it’s Alba sent back to her corner wobbly-butt as Dash flashes a confident grin.

R6: Stacey getting cute and it costs her this round. Rolling punches up underneath to get after Jessica’s breasts, Dash’s chin is wide open and midway through, a SCORCHING Alba hook swivels Stacey’s head and DASH GOES DOWN! Dash to her back and blinking--she struggles to her feet, but the bravado is gone. Now it’s Jessica climbing on board, jabbing Dash to the ropes and coming at her body with greedy wide rights or jerking double hooks between the elbows, hard words exchanged after the bell as Jessica shows signs of life.

R7: DRILLING right hand from Dash catches Jessica walking right in--Alba’s back knee nearly bending to the canvas before she locks up and covers to take. LATHERING lefts and rights from Dash as she gets off, steps around her girl--Alba routinely stumbling into the right uppercut hat has her skull dancing on a loose neck. Dash masterful with the hurting and frustrated warrior in front of her--tormenting Alba with the jab outside, punishing Jessica’s form tummy with both hands on the inside and scorching that chin with the right uppercut to post the shutout.

R8: Stacey takes around to work her foe’s breasts, stepping to the right, then jumping in with the hook to club over and over again. Alba taking it in sullen, open-mouthed stupor. Corner screaming at Jessica to move her hands, but the former champ continues to wade in and pose, allowing Dash to get off pretty.. Another blistering, one-sided round leaves Jessica smoldering and bruised--Dash is rolling to victory through 8.

R9: Jessica’s has herself a sturdy first minute, FINALLY unpacking her jab to back Dash up, and leaning hard into right crosses that have Stacey’s full attention. Dash won’t be discouraged however--she bails and circles, re-established her jab and soon ahs Jessica covered up and waiting her turn as she has all night long. Dash able to stand in front, dig a double left hook to the belly, step back and NAIL Jessica’s coming in with the right uppercut, then step around to re-initiate as Alba groggily continues forward. Jessica’s puffy and sore, frowning hurt in the eys speaks volumes about what her body must feel like.

R10: Stacey with some sweet shoe-shine and escape stuff at the ropes, then takes o her heels to run the clock as a sulky Jessica Alba half-heartedly tracks her down. Scattering booing from the crows as Dash dances and taunts but refuses to exchange down the stretch. At the bell, no doubt about it--Stacey Dash by a BIG UD10.

After: A listless, unmotivated Jessica Alba is turned upside down and worked OVER by unheralded Dash--Stacey getting into Jessica’s face and letting Alba hear some trash after the decision--Alba avoiding eye contact looks every bit the whipped loser after suffering a comprehensive beating from her opponent tonight. In days to follow most media fault Jessicas for the loss rather than crediting Dash for the win--pundits can’t believe Stacey is all that after one blazing performance.
