Before: “this is the fight I got into boxing for,” beams an eager Brittany in prefight. “When I first saw Cat Bell fighting, I knew I has to have her before she retired. I’ve envisioned the bout over and over in my head—how she can’t take it to the rack, how she wears down and how I stop her and end her career. And then I take what’s mine! It’s gonna be sweet!”

Bell, continuing her one-woman crusade against the Krushers, nonplussed at Daniel’s exuberant comments. “It’s easy to dream about fighting me, but it’s a whole different thing to get into it with me. There’s no way Brittany is stopping me, much less beating me into retirement—anyone who thinks that is seriously deluded. I know what she wants to do in this fight—the whole world knows it—and I won’t let her get there. There won’t be a lot of tears shed for Brittany when I’m done with her—this is going to be as much pleasure for me as it is business.”

Bell the favourite, but pundits point to Daniel’s excellent sparring preparation with Theron mimicking Cat in the ring, Janet Jones’ years of experience in plotting against TE fighters and Daniel’s own quick hands on the inside as possible equalizers.

Cat in electric blue bikini, Brittany in leopard print bikini.

During R1: Bell on her heels early—Brittany off to a very quick start, slashing inside and letting her hands go to Cat’s prize jugs, backing the bigger woman up in the first minute, Bell posed, disrupting Brit’s attack by pulling down on her head and sidestepping her, getting the jab on the blonde, slowly getting distance. By the final minute, patient, professional Cat picks away from outside—frustrated Daniel bobbing and weaving side to side, getting her face tracked at the bell.

R2: Explosive Daniel offense early—Bell backed up wide-eyed into her own corner and savaged to the breasts as Daniel goes at her hungry-dog. Daniel attacking rack with a blistering array of punches—overhand rights, hooks and wide rights, hup-hup-hupping uppercuts from both hands. Bell rocked and bewildered, trying to clinch Brittany head and arms with mixed results. All Brittany to the final minute—pressure keeping Bell’s back on the ropes, but the cagey brunette finds a spot late. Daniel’s singleminded emphasis to jug leaves her open—Cat rings a sudden counter right uppercut off the chin, follows up banging with rights and lefts to the face as Daniel sputters backwards. DANIEL GOES WOBBLY BUTT! Brittany crossing her arms, facing into blows—she’s in shock as Cat welts a walking barrage of rights and lefts to midring. Bell sounds on a swooning blonde—Cat steals a Daniel round, gives her a playful backhand on the rump as they cross respective corners.

R3: Brittany recuperating well, comes out jabbing Bell to Body, scooting left—loosening up the big brunette’s stance. Bell sharpshooting from outside, trying to get the jab on Brit to target her for right hands, but blonde’s frisky footwork dictating the round. Daniel able to slash in, get off some flashy combinations, duck back out—Bell unhurt, but not pulling the trigger as Brit gets on board.

R4: Fight finding a rhythm. Daniel looking to circle, dart in, let her hands go. Cat drawing a line in the canvas with her jab, picking Brittany up on the way in and looking for intercepting straight rights. Competitive round—Brittany with her right hand at her chin, left across her abs, moving her upper body well to avoid harm—Bell taking economical half steps back, dragging her front foot, keeping her distance. Bell seems to be in charge, steering and influencing Brit behind that educated left hand.

R5: Cat comfortably in the lead, boxing behind her stick—she takes command midring and continues to trouble Brit at a distance. Midway through, blonde gambles—jumping in low, coming out of her crouch with slinging rights and lefts, twisting her torso into the side to side action. Cat digging in to trade and crowd roars as sudden fury lights up the ring. Dangerous exchanges in the horizontal plane, rights and lefts whistling past chins, thumping home to jug—collision of hooks goes Daniel’s way and CAT SCOOTS TO HER BUTT! Bell non her backside at the ropes—Daniel stomping through the outstretched legs, screeching taunts—ref trying to push her back—pandemonium as Brittany is escorted to neutral corner. Bell up flushed, ruffled, hut steady—she gets back with her jab restoring order as Daniel can’t pile on at the bell.

R6: Bell finding a useful punch, using her jab to guide a ducking Brittany into the right uppercut. Daniel taking flush off her face, steps sideways—she’s shaky, but combative as Bell closes to finish. Raucous trade the rest of the way—Bell changing up distance by leaning to and fro between front and back feet, lathering combinations onto Daniel, and working the right flank with baseball bat hooks. Daniel biting back with slicing, tight bursts—fists bouncing off trim gut, bulging jug, getting Cat’s respect in one bitter encounter after another.

R7: Brittany brazen—crouching forward with arms crossed, coming at Bell’s body underneath the brunette jab, and blonde spending more time fighting off Cat’s chest this round. Brittany walloping those swollen orbs every chance she gets, but she’s paying attention elsewhere. Cat wraps up high—Brit chugs to gut, shoulders and arms pumping as Bell’s butt touches ropes. Cat trades in close—Brittany beats her to chin with those churning, quick mitts inside. Round ends to the sight of Brittany working Cat furiously against the ropes, beating the brunette to punches and spanking her face crisply at the end.

R8: Brittany outworking Cat Bell, fighting inside the jab—Cat looking shopworn as she gives ground to the ropes, clinching or covering up—offering only the occasional tepid counter. Bell visibly grimacing as Daniel bursts to the chest, brutal rising lefts and rights pancaking and smudging those glorious melons—Bell clinching in discomfort to relieving the pressure. Ref issuing breaks—hungry blonde wading back in and taking it to her girl—Daniel indulges with punches after the bell—ref separates’em as a smoldering Bell complains about the roughhouse. Daniel grinning smug back to her corner—she’s winning this fight after 8 hard rounds.

R9: The professionalism of Cat Bell, Bell dukes up, palms out—she gives ground behind her jab, absorbing the shock of Brittany’s attacks, jabbing the blonde to a halt, then potshotting her right uppercuts or downward spearing right crosses. Daniel constantly rejected, banged up on the way in, forced to regroup and try again, but it’s not working. Bell controlling center of the ring, systematically punishing her foe from the outside—Daniel’s few successful forays to the chest greeted by strong hugging clinches as cat crafts the shutout.

R10: Brittany puffy faced, lumping up around the eyes—Bell also marked up—determined girls shake off their hurts to fight a hard final heat. Brittany’s bobbing low, trying to weave her way inside—she’s stacked up and spanked by Bell’s merciless jab, now stinging the blonde in accurate barrages of twos and threes. By the midway point, Brittany’s ragged, reaching as she comes in and Bell makes her pay. A glorious shooting right hand from the shoulder hammers Brit’s head to the side—glassy eyed she pitches forward, Bell sidesteps and blonde careens face first into the ropes. Cat striding in, glowing with purpose—she palms Brittany upright to the ropes and starts ladling it on. Daniel turtling, gloves up at her temples, body cringing forward—Bell digging into the ribs with vicious right hands, lashing the belly that meanspirited hook, propping and pushing, then turning on banging right hands against the guard. Daniel rides out the storm, makes it to the bell woozy—Cat chesting up and issuing a stern rebuke to the blonde’s drowsy face as the ref gets involved. Comes back a hard fought one point UD10 win—Catherine “Cat” Bell.

After: Daniel defiant in defeat—left eye closing, face red and puffy: “I’m not impressed—Jen Connelly gave me a tougher fight at jr. light. Cat hit me with her best right hands, saw me shake it off and I could see hear I her eyes when I just kept coming. You ask me—this was another rigged TE fight. Who hit the canvas first? Not me. This totally proves that I’m a legitimate lightweight—I took her punches better than she took mine! I can hang with anyone! As of right now Cat Bell has not proven anything to me.”

Bell, white towel around her shoulders, dabbing her face on camera. “Nothing really surprised me about her attack,” Cat says, “we knew she was aggressive, we knew she likes to put punches together to the chest and key off that—in fact, I clipped her goodm countering her rack attack. You know, she does take a pretty good punch. I had her hurt throughout the fight, but she didn’t wear down sd much as I thought she would.”
