Paula Patton vs Jennifer Hudson

BEFORE: Paula Patton kicked off the 2019 season with a bang knocking out Michelle Ryan but it's time for some old fashioned hood-style clash versus Jennifer Hudson who remains very bitter she had to wait all these years to make her FCBA debut. And when she finally did, Charlotte McKinney blasted her out in less than three rounds: "One's got to start somewhere and it was a tough night back there in Philly BUT this is what I want the most! Paula 'frickin' Patton! How many Academy Awards does she have? I feel like I should be in her place all along, bragging about that victory over Amanda Righetti and all that crap! Grr... can't believe she's the one who replaced Tyra Banks! She's just sooo... casual! There's nothing about her that speaks I'm a true powerhouse boxer. I will knock her teeth out so it becomes official!"
Meanwhile Paula tries to ignore Jennifer's comments but still dismisses her as "plastic American Idol project". She adds: "I'm not gonna talk about her movie career and such because she only got the timing right. She ain't no big deal. Cher got herself an Oscar and she's no actress either so what are we talking about? Old Wiz used her as a mere cannon fodder for McKinney so I'm gonna use her in a similar fashion tonight! I got the experience and the skill to knock her out so why is she talking stupid things like that? The girl has no class whatsoever!"
Paula Patton wears an orange bandeau bikini & black gloves. Long black hair tied in a curled ponytail. Jennifer Hudson wears a pink sports bra, black hotpants & pink gloves. Long black hair tied in a braid. The fight is scheduled for ten rounds in the welterweight division.
Round 1:
Jennifer wants to make a statement aka knock Paula's head off literally seconds into the bout! Huh! She's up for some big time pounding like we're scheduled for three rounds here and splits Patton's mitts in a spirited charge that drops the older woman into immediate trouble! Paula's head snaps back repeatedly upon impact and even her supreme experience is useless against raw power from Hudson. The charger gets vocal as she lands one punch after another and has Patton on soft knees when she unloads a brutal uppercut that sends the targeted woman butt-in-ropes just past the two-minute mark. It's all Hudson there again as she ignores the desperate earmuff and lays it into the exposed ribcage to dump Patton into loud spasms come the bell. Talk about a buzzsaw of a round from the Asylum PPV cannon fodder!
Round 2:
Hudson wants MORE!!! She tackles Patton to the body as the older woman is overprotective upstairs but still gets picked off by the rampant foe. Jennifer bullies that ribcage back & forth and almost headbutts Paula onto her heels; the response over the top missed the target and only skims off the top of the shoulder while Jennifer keeps plugging away and backs her victim onto the ropes. Patton yelps in pain as she endures a faceful of leather thereafter with Hudson going bonkers on the head-hunting script once she has the other woman trapped in the phone booth. Ugh! Paula slumps into more spasms and she's getting worked the heck over here much to the crowd's stunned no-reaction. It's like 2006 and Hudson is on top of the movie world again!
Round 3:
Paula's banged up but also very upset and she can't stand the grin on Jennifer's face. "Enough with this crap!", she has to hassle around another head-hunting assault but finally digs deep into the younger foe's midsection and dominates the initial close range tangle. Hudson looked All-Pro when she run the bout from the front but now she struggles to take a punch with Patton barking & puffing her around while smacking her on the lips outright! This is like a flyweight bash in the making and Jennifer gets glued to the spot when she fails to match Paula's intensity; she backs off after getting clubbed on the nose with a quick double and suddenly Patton chases her around the ring in the final minute which gives the veteran a much-needed confidence boost amid the performance struggles.
Round 4:
Jennifer thinks it's all good she escaped the Patton charge but she needs to stay on top of the older woman regardless and she simply can't avoid another jabbing blast that picks her off early in the fourth. She accepts the slugging route but eats one strike too many on the jaw and wobbles onto her heels before Paula WHACKS her on the lips on the double. Ugh! Hudson loses her footing and gets backed onto the ropes as Paula channels more wrath from the inside to wobble the rack as well. Hudson's defense collapses on the spot and she can only clinch the fellow actress while getting pounded to the body late on! It's Paula's time to issue some verbal shots at the reeling foe and we're pretty much tied here after four.
Round 5:
Jennifer's fast start is long forgotten since she gets clobbered up the middle again and now Patton unloads the welter wrath to the point she's just beating the snot out of the poor opponent. Hudson's punching resistance goes right down the drain as she drops her gloves too low and Paula SMASHES her with a wicked left hook on the jaw that makes the other woman go all deadmeat while still standing... not for long since a follow up from the right DRILLS the nose and sends Hudson CRASHING DOWN WITH HER EYES CLOSED!!! Huh! Talk about getting smoked! The count reaches five before the ref waves it off as Hudson's been knocked out of her senses!!! KO5 Paula Patton!!!
AFTER: Your winner only takes a quick glance over the fallen opponent: "Man, so much talk, so little substance!". She struts back to her corner and waves to the cameras while the medics have to stretch the unconscious Jennifer from the ring. For all the early promise the Academy Award winner just couldn't stop the Patton barrage and looked extremely hittable which begs a question or two about her defense especially given the weight division. Jennifer won't win too many fights if she allows some of her peers to bully her around like that. Paula is six years her senior and still smoked her into a pulp! Not to mention the ballyhooed Charlotte McKinney back at the Asylum PPV! Meanwhile Paula dwells on the crowd's reaction for a while before calling out the Philly street fighter Amber Rose into another drag 'em welter slugfest next. Now that sounds like a plan!
