Before: Cracks showing in the Zeta Jones hegemony over the British Isles: After 10 years of iron-fisted rule, change is in the air. "Catherine's being run to ground," smiles a confident Kelly Brook. "Ellison got to her with raw brawling - you combine that with my intelligent boxing and it's not hard to predict what's going to happen. She was a hard woman - I'm not without respect for her past accomplishments - but she's clearly struggling to stay afloat these days. She's handled me roughly in the past: I look forward to answering that treatment at my earliest opportunity." Jones refusing to speak with the press beforehand. Reports from confidential sources inside the Zeta-Jones camp say that hard sparring with Lucy Brown has seen Catherine repeatedly rocked, but generally in control of the sessions. A good sign as Brown's style is a close approximation of Kelly's. Brook in scarlet bandeau bikini with asymmetrical skirting; white gloves. Jones in trusty yellow bikini; white gloves.

During R1: Jones with her traditional quick-slip inside Kelly's jab, slams a hook off jug to rock Brook at the open. Jones in close, snarling as she hooks Kelly's breadbasket, then jerks a left uppercut to chin, straightening Brook up. Straight right hand flows from Jones' shoulder, punching Kelly square to face: Brook back to ropes, hastily organizing her guard. Jones jabbing on the way in: pounding right roundhouse takes Kelly in her waist; hook rings Kelly's right ear. Jones in there palming up on Brook's shoulders, shoving her upright: plowing series of healthy lefts and rights slams away to jug, prompting a desperation clinch from Kelly. Ref's break: Brook stepping to midring, tries once again to get the jab on Jones: Catherine stalking, parrying poke and looking to close. Down the stretch, Jones wins her way inside, but Kelly's controlling Catherine with the left hand behind the head. Sloppy holding and hitting as Jones presses Kelly to ropes, but can't slide her head free: Brook jerking in opportunistic right uppercuts; Jones digging at paunch and ribs to bell.

R2: Kelly gets the jab on track: totally different fight. Brook in wide stance, operating at midring - she's shelling Catherine's raised guard, penetrating at times to pound away on Jones' beautiful face. Kelly pushing off back (right) big toe, getting full extension: healthy spank sounding out from these gorgeous, long left hands. Rotating clockwise, Kelly methodically mixes in a smooth right hand, stitching one-twos up the middle. Jones grimacing - head jerking under concussive contact: Catherine's just turning on the spot, keeping dukes up. Late the round, Kelly looks for a left uppercut off the jab from too far out: Jones with a quick step-in, hooks Kelly bingo on the chin and BROOK GOES DOWN! Kelly scooting to her glutes all shocked: Jones glaring down, face lumping up nicely - she's just stolen a clear Brook round 10-8.

R3: Kelly recovering well, gets the jab back on Jones, continuing to work on that Oscar-winning face. Catherine weaving, trying to get underneath, step in, and hook - Brook loping back out of range every time Jones lunges forward. Kelly pivoting to her left around stiff stick: right hands flowing smoothly off the shoulder as Kelly turns torso into sinuous shots. Jones starting to backpedal as Kelly's right hand detonates off prepared defences - Brook beginning to walk Jones down. Late the round, Kelly straps a loud hook across Catherine's jugs; drops a right hand to jaw, jerking Jones' head aside; mops up another clouting hook to jug. Jones stunned, swooning against ropes all blinking, hands at her breasts. Bell sounds as Kelly's loading up a fight-winning right hand.

R4: Jones out on the end of Kelly's punishing stick: Brook patiently shelling away on the guard, head, upper chest of her foe as Catherine grows sluggish. Brook just twitching the right hand off her shoulder, sliding it onto Catherine's face: Kelly getting marvelous extension on her crosses - leaning in, turning with them all supple and sleek. Having belted Catherine groggy upstairs, Kelly's spending more time on paunch - dipping the left shoulder and cranking nasty hooks off it, or altering trajectory on her right cross to belt Catherine about the middle. Jones pouting, backing up - eyes starting to swell - she's cringing and retreating from right hands in her body: Kelly's breaking the great woman down through 4.

R5: Kelly stepping-to Catherine now, pushing the pace. Jones grimacing, weaving the jab and stepping in close: Brook folding Catherine's head into the crook of the left arm, tying Jones up and cuddling her for ref's breaks whenever Jones penetrates. Outside - Kelly is dominant: jab really starting to punish Catherine, backing her up. Brook leaning into smooth right hands, pounding at the guard up top: even when blocked, the punches are moving Catherine off her stance. Brook deploying a rangy, slinging right hand against Jones' jugs - leaning in and strapping 'em healthy with an overhand swat. Catherine ashen-faced, but determined: she manages to drill Kelly's jugs some pounding, short right hands at closer ranges to prevent the shutout.

R6: Kelly in off her jab, jerks a short right uppercut to chin, wobbling the Jones backside. Kelly shifts-right, slops a rangy right hand to jaw - then back underneath with the right uppercut. Jones' head flinging back, hands low: she's rocked, eye brows high, eyes closed, mouth open. Kelly stepping in with another clapping right to jaw, really bending into it and DOWN GOES JONES! Catherine on her back all busted up, beaten-down and KNOCKED OUT! KO6 in thunderclap fashion - Kelly Brook.

After: Brook jubilant - circling the ring - taking a moment to thumb her nose at Liz Hurley ringside: page 3 girl makes good, putting Queen Zeta Jones on her back after a rousing beating. Catherine up in stages, led to her stool: she's bleak, punished, creaky. BROOK WANTS MORE! Kelly pushing her way into the Jones corner, takes hold of raven hair and yellow trunks to bum's-rush Jones out of the ring, onto the floor. Kelly business like through the ropes, hops down to join Jones, helping the older woman to her feet by her hair. Kelly backing to the ring apron, hops up to take a seat on the apron-edge, pulling Catherine backwards by her hair, in between Kelly's long, grasping legs.

Jones whining - scissored up and controlled. She turns into Brook to deny the sleeper-choke, but now Kelly has her right where she wants her. Kelly's legs straighten - increasing pressure on Jones' ribcage as Brook folds the beautiful Welsh Woman face-first into jugs. Kelly purring, pouring it on: long legs dishing it to Zeta-Jones' torso while jugs smother the ol' air-intake. Poor Catherine! Sunk in deep, she's a helpless vixen, standing on the floor, suffering. Her hands palm at Kelly's ribs or push at her tummy. When Kelly really writhes her legs for extra squeeze, Catherine's hands press down on Brook's thighs, trying to relieve the awful pressure. There's no escape - Zeta Jones simply reduced to rubble by the combination of constriction and smother. Kelly riding her with a sleepy smile, resting her chin atop Cathy's head while jugs complete the hard work of putting Jones out.
