Thanks to FightFan for this repost.

Before: Questionable fight for Farrell, who is rapidly garnering a reputation for making 50-50 fights. "They offered me Anton for this fight," Terri said in interviews, “But what's the point? I'm 33 years old. If I'm going to make my mark, I have to do it now.” Elle does a lot of things wrong, but it works for the former Sports Illustrated champ who has stated publicly that no model in the world can take her punch. Terri in blue bra and panties, white ankle socks, white gloves, Elle in beige bra and panties, white ankles socks, white gloves.

During R1: - Farrell comes out with that right hand taped to her cheek, left close to her jaw in a very tight, orthodox stance. Elle with her right loose at chest level, left down at her knees. McPherson reaches for Terri with the left hand, swooping it in lazy circles in front of the brunette's face, then palming or using the edge of her hand whenever Terri starts to close. It's a foul, and Elle is warned for it, but she immediately palms Terri in the side of the head, bringing a spearing right hand hard in behind it to send Farrell sprawling to the canvas with over 2 minutes left on the clock. Farrell, stunned, fails to rise on the first attempt, and barely beats the count. Elle licks her lips and hams it up for the crowd, pushing Terri to the ropes, bolo punching with the right, palming with the left, and bodying up on Farrell to keep her hemmed in. Farrell gets out of the round and her corner breaks out smelling salts in an attempt to revive the shell shocked brunette.

R2: Farrell shows tremendous resiliency, coming out, slipping Elle's rangefinding left and punching inside the blonde's sledgehammer right with a shorter, chopping right of her own. Farrell outboxes Elle, making the blonde back up, and Terri has Elle holding on at points as McPherson suddenly finds herself out worked by a very determined challenger.

R3: Elle legging around Terri, lifting the jab off her hip, trying to lure Farrell into traps, but the brunette maintains her form, cuts off the ring, and scores with straight single shots to keep things close. In the final minute however, Elle lands a looping overhand right to the temple, and Farrell skips sideways, hurt once again by Elle's power. McPherson slides forward, hurling right hands at the chest and body of the brunette as Farrell leans back on the ropes.

R4: Good, even potshotting for much of the round, but McPherson makes sure she impresses the judges with a little holding and hitting late to steal the round. Farrell complains to the ref in between rounds about all Elle's mischief, to little effect.

R5: Terri getting to Elle's face with straight lefts and rights in combination, surprising the long armed blonde as she pulls straight back. Good round for Farrell as she outjabs Elle this round, and starts landing crisp straight rights to the face to have Elle backing away once again.

R6: Elle clinching, holding, spinning Farrell early, puts the brunette on her heels, then scores with driving right hands off that back foot to remind Terri of that power. Defensive round for Farrell, who lets Elle get off and dictate the round

R7: Elle with the left palm, comes in hard over Tern's extended left to land that crushing right hand flush on the jaw, and Terri is reeling once again. Farrell swoons around the ring, trying to stay off the ropes as Elle legs on in. But as the round wears on, Terri stands her ground, regains her composure and starts to slug effectively, hooking to Elle's breasts and taking right hands to the head very well. Long arms lick back and forth, constantly crossing and entangling as Elle starts to eat punches at the bell.

R8: Elle does it again - measuring Terri with the fouling left, then bending into that wrecking ball right to put a deep knee bend in Tern's slender legs. Farrell badly hurt again, but she backs off, uses her legs, and regains her senses to make a fight of it the rest of the way. In toe to toe slugging, Elle is shocked to find Terri still effective as the brunette finishes strong once again.

R9: Elle circling clockwise around Terri, flicks that jab from her hip, popping Terri's head back, and getting into a nice bouncing rhythm. Farrell following, catching most of the round, finally scores with right hands to the body late as Elle banks another heat.

R10: Farrell behind on all cards, comes forward, loading up on right hands, and looking for the stoppage. All Farrell early as she bulls Elle to the ropes, and punishes the blonde in the corner for most of the round Elle covering up, eats lanky uppercuts and whipping hooks, and doesn't look like she's planning to fight this round, when she clips Terri with a good counter left hook late. Farrell stumbles forward as Elle spins out of the corner, and the blonde steps into a kill shot right hand as Terri leans sideways in the corner at an awkward angle. The punch smashes into the side of Terri's head, spinning her skull 180 degrees, and Farrell's legs go numb, spilling her to the canvas in shock. Terri clutching her head, legs writhing looks finished, but she won't finish on her back. Terri Farrell agonizingly climbs the ropes to beat the count, and stands swaying on drunken legs with her gloves at her lips, eyelids fluttering as Elle wades in. The bell sounds to save Farrell from a potentially savage beating, and in typical supermodel style, Elle puts her body on Terri as the brunette folds forward, the blonde thrusting her fists in the air and staring out into the crowd until the ref pushes her back. Unanimous decision for Elle McPherson.

After: Elle the winner, but Farrell shows that honest effort and gutty will that leaves her more popular after this fight than she was going in. Terri held her own in the exchanges, but Elle's right hand the difference between the two women on the night.
