Before: Every once in a while, Courtney is thrown a bone by HBO for services rendered - this bout is it. Smith relishes the chance to hand out a beating and reportedly can't wait to get into the ring. Alfonso less cocky during pre-fight on the heels of a pair of losses, realizes that getting back to where she was won't be easy. Red jogbra, white Adidas terrycloth trunks, red gloves COURTNEY, royal blue jogbra, high neck, white Adidas trunks, white gloves KRISTIAN.

During R1: Intense stare down leads to blistering first round in which both women stand and trade. Alfonso shows those quick combinations, pounding back Courtney's face with short right uppercuts and left hooks as Smith bangs back with double left hooks and a chopping cross. Smith outpunched, slaps her forehead as she goes back to her corner, knowing that she's dropped the first round fighting Kristian's fight.

R2: Smith more mobile, in and out on Alfonso, sways back from Kristian's jab, sways in to land a curling right to the eye that has the brunette hurt early. Smith immediately digs to the body as Kristian hunches over, but Alfonso comes alive with snapping hooks to the shoulder and head to back Smith off. Courtney gets on her bicycle, circling Alfonso and pecking at those baby blues with an educated jab to take the round.

R3: Courtney boxes smart again, using the jab and lateral movement to set up short overhand rights of opportunity. Alfonso effective in spurts, but spending to much time chasing the slick blonde. Smith in control, takes the round.

R4: Courtney now landing that curling overhand right with punishing regularity, battering Alfonso ragged with it to open the round. Smith likes the left hand to the body, right to the head, and circles Alfonso, plying her with the combination. Kristian falls apart this round, desperately swinging, chasing and getting tagged as Courtney remains a step ahead. Smith a cocky grin at the bell, waves at an appreciative crowd as Alfonso staggers to her corner.

R5: Kristian back to basics: cutting off the ring, countering the blonde's jab with hard right hands. Hard toe to toe exchanges see both women rocked, but in the final minute, a pulverizing right to the gut, right to the head from Kristian sends Courtney reeling back a few steps. Smith bobs and weaves, running the rest of the way to get out of the round as Kristian shows her heavy hands.

R6: Courtney Thorne Smith puts on a jabbing clinic, rocking back off her heels, bouncing into a series of jabs, then reloading. Alfonso pivoting, doesn't move her head much and pays the price. Smith committed to breaking Kristian down with the jab, doesn't take any chances this round.

R7: Smith opens with the jab, but she's flat footed and Alfonso snaps off the right uppercut counter to stun the blonde seconds into the round. Alfonso turns her body into the follow up left hook and SMITH IS HURT! Smith stumbles to her left, eyes wide with shock. Alfonso keeps pace, cranking left hooks, and drives the blonde reeling to the ropes. Courtney's fall is broken by the ropes, but she's wide open, and Alfonso steps into a left hook from the side that smashes clean into Smith's face. Smith out on her feet, stands helpless for a second before spilling to the canvas. Kristian Alfonso rejoices at her first win of the come-back, beating CTS in spectacular fashion.

After: Smith upset as she fails to carry off the bully role - she's never been a good front runner. Alfonso took a beating to get the win, but couldn't be happier to get the monkey off her back.
