Before: Tensions running high after one photoshoot ends when Maggie slaps Odette's face: Grace a very vocal critic of young Ms. Yustman in the media. "I'm not jealous, I just want to know why Odette's getting the big push," an angry Maggie G queries in pre fight. "Huh? Does anyone know? She's not prettier than me. She's not a better actress or fighter - so why is she getting pub and I'm still begging for scraps from tramps like Mary Elizabeth Winstead? I just don't get Hollywood sometimes: you put this skank and me in a room together, and I totally eclipse her. Once I've pounded her out, I expect to be getting the attention Odette is, or I swear - this place will have ZERO credibility!"

Yustman a friendly sort, but Maggie's pushing all the brunette's buttons. "Maybe the studios gave up on Maggie because she fights like crap?" Odette says, face exaggerated with mock confusion. "Let's face it - Maggie could fight Brittany Daniel 100 times and never hurt her: I stopped Brittany Daniel. It doesn't take a marketing guru to figure out where's the best return on your investment. I've never fought in anger before, but honestly? If Maggie gets hurt, I'm not stopping until she hits canvas!"

During R1: Odette hopping forward in her stance: she's the aggressor, annexing midring at the open. Maggie scowling, dukes chest high, elbows at her hips: not great hand position. Odette initiating - leaning in stiff left jabs down into Maggie's available tummy; trying for her jugs; tapping at her face. Maggie slapping back receipts - improperly thrown punches, not turned over, but swishing away side to side. Odette stepping to her right, thoughtfully placing long poke in Maggie's body or face...then leaning into right hands, punching Grace right on her chin. Grace getting her head turned - she's baring her teeth bytchy - slapping back late, coming up short. Maggie cranky from being poked and prodded - she tries to jab back, but she's pushing the punch, not nearly as professional in her stance as Odette.

R2: Odette continues to get off first - punching one left jab at a time down into Maggie's stomach, then sorting out her breasts with thumping left hands. Yustman's counterclockwise shifting gives her an angle on Maggie's left flank: Odette leaning in, jamming the straight right hand palm-down in above Maggie's left hip, warping lithe blonde torso. Grace snarling, wincing from the hard right hands in her side, shying away: she's really got no plan, just pushing or pawing straight shots, or swishing away slapping side to side stuff. Odette getting excited in spots, stepping in a little too close: she gets caught up in pushing Maggie's gloves out of the way, giving the fight an amateurish feel. Pretty to watch the girls bumping and pushing each other about, but it's unproductive. Yustman's trainer gives her hell during the break: "Knock off the foxy-boxing crap: punch this girl to hurt her or don't punch at all!"

R3: Odette more disciplined/technical in approach: a little robotic, but very effective picking Maggie apart from range. Grace cringing, wincing - face very animated, showing her pain as Odette extends on long right hands down into the body. Yustman circling, punching methodically: she's extending on punches, getting her long lines into the blows, landing with thump on Maggie's tummy, tits and chin. Typical Yustman pattern sees her touch Maggie jabs - just stamping away on tummy and jug, then knocking at frustrated blonde brow. Single right hands follow - slanted down into the stomach; placed straight in the side from the step-right; clanging across chin. Odette usually recovering from her right hands with a pushy little left: not a jab exactly - just a nudge to keep Maggie from countering. Grace beside herself - turning and turning on the spot, crying out and reacting late to Odette's aggression. Blonde with a few desperation rushes, pushing lefts and rights as she walks forward: easy for Yustman to shunt her aside, sidestep her, then jab her into compliance.

R4: Hard straight right in the body buckles Maggie's knees: she's crying, cringing. Odette heartless - jabbing the body, jabbing the face, laying in the right cross to chin: Maggie getting her head punched aside, facing into blows. Yustman just leaning forward, reaching her long arms in stiff, straight lines to luscious blonde targets: Maggie standing there, gloves at chest, soaking it up. By the minute mark, Grace is unravelling, starting to stumble around, slapping miserably at her tormentress, but unable to get anything on Odette. Yustman finally seriously hurts Maggie with a right to chin; doubles it up as Maggie's wobbling around, punching blonde head straight back pez-dispenser style. Maggie staggering backwards, sits down - rolls to her back - props herself up on elbows. She's a blubbering wreck - rolling over her right hip, getting to all fours, but no farther. Textbook target practice KO4 - Odette Yustman.

AFTER: Yustman glowing, posing prettily for photos with a big brunettes-are-better smile: good little showcase for a girl who had started out on Maggie's level, but has clearly surpassed her at this point. "She's a DIS-grace!" Odette chirps in postfight. "Right? You get it? Maggie GRACE?" Boxing result is confirmed weeks later when these two meet in an apartment wrestling bout: Odette quickly able to wrestle Maggie to carpet, mount her, and slap her out righty. Yustman's Apartment triumph makes the cover of BATTLING INGENUE magazine: Yustman straddling Maggie; brunette's left fist twisted in Maggie's tank top, tugging the blonde to; that right arm up and back to deliver another clapping right hand to Maggie; Grace dazed, eyes half shut, lips parted, just facing into her medicine. Easily the prettiest slap-out since Angie Harmon shocked Tricia Helfer, and stern payback for Maggie's cheapshot press-conference stunt.
